After reading Claimed, I decided to give Sheltered a try, and I'm so glad I did. This talented author has a wonderful way of drawing readers into the story with compelling characters, heartfelt emotions, and engaging storytelling. The writing flows effortlessly, and I found myself invested from the very first chapter. I would definitely recommend this book to my retired husband—I think he'd really enjoy the engaging story and well-developed characters. I can't wait to read more from this author.
Story is good, 4.5 stars definitely needs a proofread.
The story is good. The writing structure needs work. The proofreading was never done or done poorly. Tenses are just wrong. It's sometimes like broken English. Paragraphs are repeated more than once. Timelines don't always match, facts within the story don't always match. Not so horrible it's unreadable but bad enough it's annoying. I'd give the story 4.5 stars, the writing 2.
I really liked the storyline to this book. I do not, however, understand how it made it to kindle unlimited with all the grammatical errors. This book would have been 5 stars if it was properly edited. It was super annoying but I was determined to finish the story. I will not read anymore from this author until the editing improves, it is not worth the stress.
She was trauma with a suprise baby. He was trauma with a daughter. They lived in a town that cared. It shouldn't have worked, it should have been insipid and made me crazy. It didn't. I liked the possibility of a guy who just was a good one. I like that she was scared but willing to give it a try. Good conversation about postpartum depression and mental health. And, I will always stay for a good love story with some decent writing.
Cute story. Written by AI though. All the verbs were written in the wrong tense and it was a distraction. (Once or twice, even 5x, no big deal. Every single one?? People don’t talk like that.) had to skip to the end.
