The Ivy Creek Cozy Mysteries with its small town setting, lovable baker and sleuth (Lucy Hale), Gigi (a Persian cat), gentle romance, clever twists, are delicious baking and page-turning cozy mysteries. Ruth Baker is a new to me author and this reader enjoys having the entire series in a collection. Fun summer read.

The characters in this book are like old friends. I could see myself working in the bakery or even going in and buying baked goods. They are all sweet and caring. I love reading about friendships like this. I even love the pets! And the mysteries are challenging. These are more than just stories, they're friendships.
