FRENCHED (Mia and Lucas) When I got dumped by my stupid fiancé a week before the wedding, my plans involved nothing more than ice cream, and blanket fort, and a bonfire of his possessions. But my friends convinced me that bitter tastes better drowned in Bordeaux, so I came to Paris for a single-moon. Then I met him. He's shown me things I’ve never seen before, and I’m not talking about the Louvre. Is it just the seduction of Paris? Or could this be the real thing?
YANKED (A Mia and Lucas Novella) I never expected any of this— Getting dumped. Going to Paris alone. Falling for Lucas (he was so not on my list). We’ve done the long-distance-love thing for eight months now, and I’m ready for more. But after I discover what he’s been hiding, will he stay on my list? Or should I cross him off for good?
FORKED (Nick and Coco) I have trouble saying no. To shoes, handbags, the dessert tray…you name it. But when I agreed to plan last-minute engagement bash for a spoiled Mafia princess, I had no idea she’d demand that my sexy ex cater it. He’ll agree to work for me, but only if I agree to spend a weekend with him. Did I mention my weakness for a**holes with tattoos? Yeah. I’m totally forked.
FLOORED (Erin and Charlie) OK, fine. I’ll confess. While my house was being robbed, I was in the shower indulging my favorite Brad Pitt fantasy (the one with the Troy costume and the handcuffs.) But where is the justice in the world when the first cop on the scene is the former bully next door? How dare that arrogant jerk grow up to be six-foot-three inches of solid muscle with gorgeous blue eyes! I can’t stop thinking about him. Or his handcuffs. Or his dirty mouth. Or the way he still likes to boss me around these days, only with a lot less clothing. (Another confession—I like it now, too.) But we’re totally wrong for each other…aren’t we?
Series extras include male POV scenes and an all-new Mia and Lucas short, The Wedding Night!

I LOVED Frenched and wish I read as a standalone. I adore Melanie Harlow as an author. She creates likeable characters, witty dialogue and wow the steam factor can't be beat! Frenched was awesome and the rest just seemed forced and not as interesting. Frenched would be a 4 star read for me but because this is a bundle I have to rate in between as I didn't love the other two books and skimmed after losing interest. I will definitely continue reading her books because I believe she has gotten better and better with each book
I got this series in a set a while ago, but it took me a while to get to it--Mistake! I loved each and every story. Mia, Coco, and Erin, each of their stories pulled me right in, like, immediately, and I couldn't put them down. I read Frenched, the first in the series, all day, then rushed around just before the Hub got home to try and make it look like I did something productive, other than feed my fantasies. ha ha
Every couple had believable chemistry, and for me, that is ALL important. So many books, while enjoyable overall, still rub me wrong that somehow a REAL relationship could possibly develop when it is based on nothing but sexual chemistry. Real, happy-meaningful relationships don't work that way--SO, I think that is why I loved these stories so much.
These books have plenty of steam--I tend to skip pages during these scenes because they are ...sorry to have to admit this, but boring to me. I'm a story driven reader and too often, those scenes detract from the story. I swear, in so many cases, it feel like some authors are just copying and pasting the same scenes over and over so if you've read one, you've read them all. I was pleasantly surprised by Harlow's take on the steamy stuff. Not nearly as much skipping as usual, and I loved how creatively she fit them in, whether by a dream, or a fantasy, or a memory of a shared past, so that, as in so many other books, the characters didn't have to hop into bed after meeting just 5 minutes before. It makes the developing relationships more believable. This author has gained a new fan!
I absolutely love everything about this story. The characters, the settings, the sexual connection between Mia and Lucas and most definitely the emotions that their story brought out in me.
I want to go back to Paris and experience all the sights just as Mia did – although without the heights and preferably with my very own Lucas 😉
I award Frenched 5 stars. I cannot wait for more of this couple so I’m diving straight into Yanked.
P.S. I absolutely adore the special edition covers that have been released.
Yanked - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I wanted more Mia and Lucas and in Yanked I certainly got it! I absolutely adore this couple and so when the path they were following became bumpy, I held my breath and prayed for the best outcome.
I loved the drama in this novella, although I didn’t enjoy the heartache and emotions said drama caused. This narrative is what Lucas and Mia’s story needed – the next stage in their lives following Frenched. I hope this isn’t the last we see of them as the series continues.
4 stars.
Forked - ⭐⭐⭐1/2
There is much that I loved about this story, however, I do have some niggles.
I love Nick and Coco. I loved the second chance storyline but I do feel that some elements were a little too much. I also found this narrative to be quite predictable and after some time, the amount of sex the couple were having I felt was overpowering the storyline – but I’ve read this straight after Frenched and Yanked so maybe I just need a break from all the intimacy. I did love the settings and also meeting and learning about Nick’s family. I loved being back with Mia, Lucas and Erin too. I’m thinking of reading something different before Erin’s story – if her book is as sexual as her friends have been, then I definitely feel a break will be beneficial.
3.5 stars
Floored - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I absolutely loved reading Floored. Erin and Charlie’s story was thoroughly entertaining and I loved both characters too. In my opinion, Erin’s inner dialogue made this story. The whole narrative from start to finish had me hooked. I loved the humour and the banter, plus being back with Mia and Coco too.
This series should not be missed. I may have some niggles regarding Forked, however, the other narratives have all been fabulous. They are sexy reads, and I am glad I took a little break after reading Frenched, Yanked and Forked one after the other. I went into Floored refreshed from all the sex and was able to appreciate the chemistry that Erin and Charlie share.
I finished the last of the series (Floored) last night at 3:30 in the morning. My body hates me today, but boy was it worth it!
Frenched: Mia and Lucas - what could be better! The sick of love female who just got dumped at the worst time (by the worst guy) who suddenly runs into the love of her life in the city of love and lights. If you love anything about Paris, you’ll enjoy this book. They go to every hot spot tourist place in the city and he is her personal tour guide. Little did they know what would happen next
Forked: Coco and Nick! The college sweethearts gone wrong. From the beginning you could tell that Nick was still taken back by her and never stopped caring for her. I was mad at him at times, but knowing from the beginning (from an outsider perspective) that he never stopped loving her after all that time, made it just that much better.
Floored: Erin and Charlie… Now there is a complicated relationship right there. While he should’ve been honest with her about “the thing” from the start, I could see why he wasn’t. But these two are meant to be and it’s so obvious that they have the spark! The way they learn to take interest in what each other likes (or not) shows how much they care about each other.
I chose this rating because each book was excellent. I enjoyed each character. I'm not going to split the stories up because each of them were great, and all the ladies were in each other's story. It was great. They each got there man. There men treated them like gold. That's enough said right there. This was a great read. There was a lot of romance. So I recommend this series to all romance readers.
I’ve heard such great things about these books and I can honestly say everything I heard was spot on. Sweet, swoony and sexy. Out of the set, I think Floored was my favorite. Mia and Lucas were fantastic, Coco and Nick were sweet, but Erin and Charlie...fire.
Overall I enjoyed this boxset. Each story centers on a different couple. All 3 of the girls are best friends so they are interconnected.
The storylines were cute and the characters likeable. In my opinion, too many sex scenes that all seemed the same, but I'm sure that's just my opinion. Nothing in these books will be life changing, but they will entertain you.
Frenched: Loved this fun, flirty, sexy romance. The pace and flow of the story kept me engaged as I unraveled the chaos of Mia’s life. Mia is dumped via text message 1 week before her lavish wedding by her fiancé. Her friends, Coco and Erin, encourage her to go on the honeymoon trip to Paris to get away for the week and recharge. Mia is miserable by herself in Paris but then she walks into a bar and encounters Lucas. Lucas is blown away by this confident woman when she strides in but soon learns she is a mess. Can he convince her to stay in Paris? Mia finds that Paris is as amazing as she thought with Lucas as a tour guide. Will she get more out of Paris than just a tour? Can the woman looking for love and a commitment, shift the tide with the one man that doesn’t see marriage in his future?
Yanked: Exciting, sexy short story that continues Mia and Lucas’s romance. How will they handle this long distance relationship? When Mia surprises Lucas for the weekend, she ends up being the one surprised by a woman answering his door. Is this the end? I wanted to punch Lucas, communication is an even bigger issue when you’re so far apart. Did he lie, no, but omission is just as bad in these situations causing misunderstandings and more drama than you want. Will these two find a way for a forever HEA?
Floored: Coco is such a fun character, she has fallen in love with a giant old house that she wants to buy but it’s out of her price range. When an engagement party of a lifetime that has an unlimited budget lands in her lap, maybe she can scrape together enough money for the down payment but there is one catch. The bride wants Nick Lupo to make burgers at her party. Well, Nick just happens to be Coco’s ex-husband and she hasn’t seen him in 7 years. Nick still loves Coco so when she finally shows up at his restaurant, he will do anything to get a second chance. Will Coco be able to forgive and forget the hurt Nick caused? This was a fun, sexy romance that I didn’t want to put down.
Forked: Erin kept me laughing. I love how she is feisty yet vulnerable. Growing up she did everything to keep her parents happy, she became a people pleaser, but she’s trying to break from that mold. I love that the things she shouldn’t want to do or say are given to us as the thoughts in her head. When her nemesis, Charlie Dwyer, ends up back in her life, she’s not sure what to think. He sort of tortured her when they were kids but now he’s a sexy cop and she keeps thinking of all the sexy things she wants to do with him. Charlie keeps showing up yet he tries to keep her as a casual relationship. They both have issues so we get to enjoy their crazy, sexy, tumultuous journey as they both have to face fears from their pasts. A fabulous way to wrap up this series about Mia, Coco and Erin.
Have just reread this set of stories by Melanie Harlow and enjoyed them just as much as the first time. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good story with a lot of spice!
Frenched: Mia thought she had it all, a good job, a fiancee....but then he broke up with her right before the wedding. She was crushed. They already had their honeymoon paid, so her friends persuaded her to go there alone anyway - to Paris. She always wanted to go there. So she went. That`s where she met Lucas. He was everything she never looked in a guy, but she fell for him, hard. They spent a week together and fell in love. They gor their HEA in Yanked novella :)
Forked: Nick and Coco, Coco and Nick - I absolutely love second chance romances. This story pulled me in from the first page. And I love the humorous part of it - I laughed out loud many times :)
Floored: Erin and Charlie met when they were around eight years old. He was her neighbour, who bullied her. She hated him, but then he moved and she thought she will never see him agan. Twenty years later, someone broke into her house and he was a cop on duty, who came to her house and check things out. He was hot and yummy and she couldn`t keep her eyes from him, even though she still hated him for bullying her when they were kids. Soon, they both realized they have feeling for each other. But not everything is as it seems. She kept a big secret from her and she was mad at him and dissapointed...But thankfully, they managed to work things out and they got their HEA :)
3 1/2 stars for me. Now I did enjoy this series, some good characters and each story a variation on a theme. I enjoyed the humour in these books, there was some very funny moments, lots of sexy moments and some very sweet moments. Why the star rating.....well they just slightly missed the mark for me, in each of the stories there were moments of Omg he did not just say that!? And then followed up pretty much with the female lead brushing it off because they were so hot that they couldn't maintain their anger....now I don't like angst for angst sake but I do prefer a really strong woman who knows when to walk away and when to stay. That being said I loved the writing and did enjoy the books, I do sometimes like a more lighthearted read and it did fit the bill but I wanted to argue back with the characters which frustrated me a little. Maybe I'm just a bitch lol and argue back too much therefore expect my characters to!
These 4 books involving Mia, Coco and Erin and their great loves. They're such good reading. Book 1 involves Mia and her fiance,Tucker dropping the wedding. Her friends talk her into taking her trip anyways to Paris. Mia meets Lucas by accident and they spend so much time together. Lucas shows her around the sights and they become involved. Book 2 tells of Lucas and Mia's wonderful relationship and the excitement. Book 3 tells of Coco and Nicks relationship. It is their second time around and things unfold as Nick explains to her why the first time failed at the farm. He buys the house she wants and will do anything for Coco. Book 4 Erin believes she will be single her whole life until she is robbed and her great love rescues her. Charlie helps her out and hides part of his past from her. As you read on you can see them falling in love! This set was such a great read. I don't want to reveal to much of the plot, but suggest you read it!!!!
This series just… delicious! Each book is better than the last, and this to me seems impossible because each one is perfection.
Melanie Harlow has this fantastic talent for creating both incredible stories and unforgettable, relatable characters! I adore Mia, and Cocoa, and Erin.
Melanie always gives us a HEA. I have absolutely adored this series, every book has been perfection. I adore the characters, their stories, their relationships, and their antics! I’ve come to love this world that Melanie has created, I’m praying their series has not come to a close, I’m not sure I’m ready to say to goodbye to the characters I’ve become addicted to!
I loved this series. I'd say spontaneous combustion applies to each of these couples. Mia and Lucas meet in London and fall in love in a week. Coco and Nick have a past but don't let it derail them once they are reunited. Erin and Charlie knew each other as kids but quickly learn they have red hot chemistry as adults. Each story has its own ups and downs but the common thread is the friendship between these women. They are each other's sounding board and at times voice of reason. The series was HOT, and funny and had me rooting for everyone's happily ever after.
4.5* I really enjoyed this box set which takes you on the journey of Mia, Coco ,and Erin's friendship and path to love. I loved the adventure, fun times, and growth of their characters. Felt the pain, betrayal, hope, love, and happiness with them. And I also loved the last tidbit from Mia showing where they end up!
(Individual reviews for stories can be read on each books page.)
I absolutely loved this series! I got it a while ago because there was a bundle available. Don't know why I wanted so long to read it. The author did such an amazing job of bringing out each character's personality. I can't even pick a book I loved the best because the who series was fantastic. Greatly written, a great flow, lovable and relatable characters. There were also some spots that I actually laughed out loud. Don't pass this series up!
Loved this entire series and all the characters. Mia, Coco, and Erin are all great friends and that shows throughout the books. When Lucas, Nick, and Charlie make their appearances the ladies all have their ups and downs (especially between the sheets). Loved how Melanie Harlow included the guy's POV and tied up all loose ends of the story at the end if the book because I needed to know what happened to all the characters.
I loved all 3 of these stories. Mia & Lucas, Nick & Coco, Erin & Charlie, one did not stand out over the rest, they were all written with such great story lines that they all held my attention as much as the last. Fate, destiny, and reunions, sweet falling in love, and hot sex! I love authors who can pull this kind of mix off!
So glad I bought these books and read them, some of my favorites!
I read the first two books in this series quite some time ago. I didn't realize there were more books in this series. Imagine my surprise when I came across this phenomenal deal. Wow! These characters are quirky and fun. Great friendships & great relationships. The intimate scenes were well written and very steamy. I highly recommends these books. Melanie Harlow is a very talented author!
I bought this set never having read anything from this author before and I'm glad I did as I really enjoyed it! The books were funny and sexy and kept me interested enough to keep turning the pages. They were well edited and proofed and I will definitely go looking for another book by this author.
Melanie Harlow has created such an amazing, fun, witty, sexy group of characters in this series! I enjoyed every single one of these stories and felt like I devoured them and couldn't get enough. These were my first Melanie Harlow books and I will definitely read more of her work. I would highly recommend you take a trip into the world of best friends Mia, Coco and Erin. You won't be sorry!
LOVED,LOVED,LOVED! Fantastic series, so fun & sexy!
The friendship between the 3 girls - Mia,Coco, and Erin is the thread tying all of the stories together. You so root for these ladies to get their men & their happy endings (pun intended). Highly recommended for a funny, flirty, steamy read.
I didn't read any reviews before starting this series, so I didn't realize how much sex would be included (sometimes unnecessarily), but I really enjoyed the characters and storylines. Not completely my cup of tea, but loved the romance and lack of cliffhangers.
