I liked their dynamic from the start; that push and pull was really good to read. Hayley came from so far; she didn't have walls around her, but a fortress. I liked them getting closer, with the forced proximity of the wedding, with Hayley in complete denial of what they were doing and Maddie a masochist for going after Hayley. I wanted to know why Hayley was that way, and I was really invested. Gemma and Caitlin being good friends and so happy together was sweet to read. I just found it weird that Maddie's celebrity was completely left out. They were going out, and she was never recognized, which is hard to believe. I admit I didn't remember the details of the first book of the series, so I would have liked to read flashbacks about their first interactions from their point of view. It would have helped me understand what truly made them connect, which was not the most obvious to me. Their physical connection is undeniable and the sex scenes spicy to read. Overall, I enjoyed Hayley and Maddie's story.

Hayley and Maddie have just stolen my heart ❤️
First, they're flirty, teasing, and low-key possessive. There was this little game going on between them. Then they both give in, and it's a hot and cold situationship that they find themselves in. But the walls start crumbling, the ice starts thawing, and they absolutely heat things up!🔥

They're supposed to be focusing on their BFFs, Gemma and Caitlin's, wedding - which I enjoyed catching up with them 🥰

There were some sad moments - loss of a parent (past) - so be prepared 😢🤧

💕 Enemies to lovers
💕 Grumpy/Sunshine
💕 Ice Queen
💕 Forced proximity

I loved Take Two but this one? I LOVED it from start to finish. Hayley is kind of a bitch and I absolutely loved her for it 🙂‍↕️ I have such a soft spot for a prickly, closed off ice queen 😏

Hayley and Maddie are Gemma and Caitlin’s best friends from Take Two. They don’t exactly get along but are forced to work together as maids of honor. Maddie is a total flirt, while Hayley is a workaholic ice queen. Watching them slowly let their guards down and grow closer was my favorite part. I also loved getting to catch up with Gemma and Caitlin.

Hayley’s story about losing her mom to breast cancer hit me especially hard because my own mom is currently battling breast cancer. That connection made her character feel incredibly real to me (and of course, I cried🥲). She keeps everyone at arm’s length to protect herself, and seeing Maddie patiently break through those walls was beautiful. Maddie never stopped being her authentic self and I loved that she never apologized for who she was. They’re complete opposites, but they fit together perfectly.

This story will definitely pull at your heartstrings while also delivering plenty of super hot, spicy moments 🫠🔥 Thanks Erica for the ARC! 💕

I love the fact that Gemma and Caitlin are back! I fell for them in Take Two, and the premise being around their wedding was perfect. Getting their best friends as their maids of honor was perfect.

Watching Hailey and Maddie interact was interesting. I was not a huge fan of Hailey’s behavior during the early parts of the book. After finding out about her childhood and the loss of her mom, it started to make sense, though. It was nice seeing the inner turmoil making Hailey question her choices and have her walls crumbling as Maddie got closer to her.

Maddie was a sweetheart from the beginning. Her bubbliness was a perfect foil to Hailey’s stone cold exterior. Her outgoing, friendly personality drew me in and I loved her from the first page.

The love these two share is truly special, especially after Hailey admits the depth and length of her feelings to Maddie.

I do think that this was a solid entry in the series, and I enjoyed it more than Take Two.

If you love ice queens who melt, bubbly women who break down walls, and a love that's worth crossing a country for, definitely check out I'd be Honored!

I’d Be Honored
NYC Romance Book 2
Spice Level: 3.5🔥
Out: 8/14/26

THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING I HOPED IT WOULD BE!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better book to have been my first read in my new house! I resonated so much with Haley, and loved the way her walls slowly crumbled. There’s always something about an ice queen melting, that just gets me!!!

The chemistry between Haley and Madison was POURING off the page. Their banter created the perfect amount of charged energy, which in turn created so many HOT interactions.

The authenticity of both characters went a long way for me — while both were quite headstrong in their own ways, it never felt like they were intentionally trying to change each other. Instead it felt like they were growing together, and I absolutely LOVED that!

Do yourself a favor and READ THIS SERIES!!!! I promise you, it’s absolutely worth it!

This has definitely been my favorite book in the series so far! we absolutely admired Hayley’s character and watching her slowly let down her walls and soften that Ice Queen exterior, especially when it came to Maddie. We loved learning that Maddie wasn’t just someone Hayley suddenly developed feelings for and she had been drawn to her for years, and in a way, it had always been Maddie.

We also found Maddie’s character to be really well written, especially in the way she supported Hayley. She understood that Hayley had walls up for a reason and continued to show up for her without wanting to give up on her. Their relationship had such a great balance of tension, chemistry, and emotional moments, while still showing how difficult it can be to trust someone enough to fully let them in.

Beyond the romance, this story was really about trust, healing from difficult family relationships, and allowing yourself to love and be loved. We were also excited to see Gemma and Caitlin some more and got to see more of their story continue alongside Hayley and Maddie’s. Definitely recommend this book and the series!

Ugh. The character development was lacklustre and confusing. Jump and opinions- from stay away from her to stick with her it’ll work felt disingenuous. There was a moment when I thought of all the things I could be doing with my life. And promptly put the book away.

Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶

This might be my favorite Erica Goodwin book yet, which is saying something after how much I loved Love on the Road and Take Two.

What makes this one work so well is how much history is already loaded into it before we even open up to the first page. We got glimpses of Hayley and Madison in Book 1 of Goodwin’s NYC Series, enough to know that something was simmering. Let’s just say that Goodwin doesn’t waste a second of that buildup. The tension between them doesn’t need to build from nothing because it’s already been built from Book 1. By the time we start Book 2, that tension is ready to combust.

Hayley is the kind of character I’m always a sucker for. The one who has decided (with complete and absolute conviction) that she doesn’t do relationships. The same one who then has to watch said conviction fall apart in real time because of one specific person that she can’t help but melt for. Hayley’s walls aren’t just a personality trait. They’re load-bearing, built from real grief around her mother’s passing and the fear of ever losing her one true love. The author takes the time to show exactly why Hayley built those walls in the first place and why she bothered to build them so tall. Watching her let the walls come down piece by piece while also helping Madison climb over them is what really sells her arc.

Madison could have easily played as the soft counterpart to Hayley’s hard edges, but Goodwin gives her her own spine, and I am incredibly grateful for that. Madison isn’t chasing Hayley trying to fix her. She’s figuring out her own worth throughout this process, and the moment she actually says what she wants out loud instead of just absorbing whatever Hayley is willing to give is one of the highlights of the book.

Using the wedding planning as the pressure cooker was also a really smart structural choice. As best friends to Gemma and Caitlin, it makes sense that Hayley and Madison’s paths would inevitably cross for their wedding. It forces proximity without feeling particularly forced, gives them built-in deadlines and tasks to bicker and flirt over, and it means that every wedding milestone doubles as a relationship milestone for the two of them. Getting Gemma and Caitlin woven so fully into this book, seen through Hayley and Madison’s eyes instead of just cameoing, makes the whole series feel like one continuous universe rather than separate books that happen to share a cast.

TLDR: A best-friend-of-the-best-friend forbidden romance where the wedding planning countdown does as much work as the chemistry. And trust me…they’re both pulling in overtime!

We got little glimpses of Hayley and Madison in Take Two, just enough to know there was something quietly simmering between them, and I was so ready to see where their story would go.

Hayley is a force. Strong, independent, controlled, and very much an ice queen who does not do relationships. She has built her life around keeping her heart protected, and she is not the kind of woman who lets people in easily. But watching all of that control slowly start to crack the moment Madison gets under her skin was so satisfying.

What I really appreciated was getting to understand why Hayley’s walls are so high. Her guardedness never feels like drama for the sake of it. There is pain there, and once you understand what she is carrying, it makes her need to keep Madison at a distance feel more complicated and much more human.

Madison, on the other hand, is such a sweetheart. She is strong willed, honest, romantic, and completely open to the idea of finding real love. She has that heart in her eyes energy, but without feeling weak or naive, and I loved how steady she was in what she wanted.

Together, Hayley and Madison had such good chemistry. The banter was flirty, witty, and so easy to enjoy, with that constant push and pull that made every interaction feel charged. Their romance is heartfelt, funny, emotional, and seriously steamy, while still giving space for healing, vulnerability, and learning how to be loved properly.

I also loved the wedding planning set up. Having Hayley and Madison brought together through Gemma and Caitlin’s wedding made their forced proximity feel natural rather than convenient. Every task, deadline, and wedding moment gave them another reason to clash, flirt, avoid their feelings, or accidentally reveal too much.

Seeing Gemma and Caitlin woven into the story through Hayley and Madison’s eyes also made the series feel really connected. It did not feel like a separate romance with a few familiar faces thrown in. It felt like a continuation of the same world, with friendships, history, and love stories all overlapping in a really lovely way.

Overall, this was such an enjoyable romance. Ice queen meets hopeless romantic, wedding planning chaos, flirty banter, emotional healing, and spice that absolutely delivered. Hayley and Madison were a joy to read, and I really loved watching Hayley slowly realise that being loved does not have to mean losing control.

This is the second book in the series, and while it can be read as a standalone, characters from the first book do appear as side characters. I’d recommend reading the first book, which follows Caitlin and Gemma, if you want the wedding scenes in this one to have their full impact.

I really enjoyed how this one starts, with an incredibly sexy glimpse into Hayley’s world. She’s a real estate agent, an ice queen who loves control and isn’t necessarily afraid of making a few morally grey decisions. Maddie, meanwhile, begins the book with a situationship of her own before finding herself staying in NYC and sharing maid of honour duties with Hayley 💍

The forced proximity of wedding planning gives us plenty of tension as these two different personalities clash. I really liked their ice queen x sunshine dynamic — it’s light-hearted, fun and full of that wonderful sapphic twist of fate where they just keep being thrown together around NYC.

I will admit that there were moments when I wanted to have a word with Maddie. Watching her put so much energy into someone who clearly wasn’t going to reciprocate made me want to say, run, girl, run. But... we all enjoy an ice queen thawing moment, don’t we? I really liked the gradual uncovering of Hayley’s layers and the way the two of them slowly build an emotional connection.

I particularly enjoyed Maddie’s direct flirting — and that first spicy scene between her and Hayley? Ooh. The control and power dynamics are very sexy. And the mirrors. And the ✂️. And the spice continued 🔥! I found this second story in the series to be even sexier than the first, with the dialogue in particular being 🫠!

Of course, underneath all that chemistry, this is a romance, and I really enjoyed watching their bond grow. They slowly get to know each other, build trust and begin to let their guards down, while battling their own emotional baggage, hesitancy and insecurities along the way.

Spoiler ahead...

There is angst, miscommunication and a third-act break-up. Oh, my heart. The third-act break-up isn't my favourite, although that's very much a personal preference, but it did make the eventual emotional payoff hit harder ❤️

Okay, so this story is gorgeous! From the cover, to the New York City setting, to the characters themselves, this book grabs your attention early and doesn't let go. I especially loved how prominent NYC is throughout the story, it almost feels like another character. And much like the city itself, there are so many moving parts that keep the story interesting.

Gemma and Caitlin (from book 1 ‘Take Two’) being back alongside Haley and Madison was so much fun to read, and I loved seeing how intertwined both couples are in each other's lives. If you haven't read Take Two yet, I definitely recommend starting there before picking this one up!

Haley and Maddie have such a layered relationship. Haley is constantly guarding her heart because of what she's experienced with her mom, while Maddie is trying to protect her own heart but is also so open to the possibility of love. Add in their intense chemistry and all of those should they or shouldn't they moments, and you have one emotional rollercoaster. Be ready!

For me, the driving force of the story was wanting to understand why Haley is the way that she is. So put together, but keeps everyone at a distance (except Gemma) and the more we learn about her, the more I understood why letting people in is so difficult for her. I really felt for Haley, and I loved seeing her finally get the closure she needed, not just for herself, but for her relationship with Maddie, too.

This book is incredibly sexy and entertaining, but it also touches on the grief of losing a parent to cancer and how, as much as we may want to, we can't change people who aren't willing to put in the work themselves.

Overall, very happy I read this one! Erica's books just keep getting better, and I really enjoyed getting to know Haley and Maddie. And as a little bonus, we get a few details about the potential next book in the series 👀 I'm very excited to see what Erica has planned for us next!

This book is a charming sapphic romance that brings together workplace ambition, wedding chaos, irresistible tension, and the kind of chemistry that refuses to stay quietly in the background

Hayley Maddox has built her reputation as New York’s most formidable real estate shark by keeping everything under control. Her career is thriving, her boundaries are firmly in place, and her heart is safely locked away. Romance is simply not part of the plan.

Then comes Madison Crane.

Madison is everything Hayley isn’t: bright, optimistic, openly romantic, and impossible to ignore. When the two are thrown together as maid of honor and bridesmaid while helping their best friends prepare for a wedding, Hayley’s carefully organized world begins to unravel.

I loved the forced proximity at the heart of this story. Four months of wedding planning creates the perfect environment for awkward moments, stolen glances, growing attraction, and feelings neither woman is quite prepared to acknowledge. What starts as an obligation gradually becomes something far more personal, and the tension between Hayley and Madison gives the romance plenty of spark.

The contrast between their personalities is especially fun. Hayley’s controlled, guarded nature plays beautifully against Madison’s warmth and enthusiasm, creating a dynamic where every interaction feels like a push and pull between resistance and attraction.

Beyond the romance, the story explores vulnerability, emotional walls, and the courage it takes to let someone into a life built around self protection. Their growing connection proves that love doesn’t always arrive when you are ready for it. Sometimes it arrives specifically to challenge everything you thought you wanted.

Person POV. 4.5🌟 3.5🌶️. 310 pages
11 Spicy Scenes

I’m an absolute sucker for an Ice Queen, but my favourite part is watching them slowly melt and become vulnerable with that one special person that manages to get past all of their walls. And that’s exactly what we get with Hayley.

Hayley is aloof and guarded and yet she starts to become soft around the edges without realising it’s happening and I throughly enjoyed reading her transformation throughout this book. The chemistry and dynamics between Hayley and Maddie were evident from the moment the two clashed. Despite their polar opposites, they just worked and complemented each other perfectly.

This was such a heartfelt fluffy read, that had a great balance of yearning, angst and spice throughout. I would’ve however liked the spice to be more detailed as some of the scenes were blink and you’ll miss them, but that’s the smut fiend in me and entirely a personal preference.

Overall, Erica has delivered a great contemporary romance that focuses on the varying paths to finding love without actually looking. The book works wonderfully to show how grief can affect a persons stance on relationships and sometimes a specific person is all you need to show you otherwise.

I’d be Honoured will be released August 14th and It’s defiantly a must read for fans of the ice queen trope and especially for fans of that deep sapphic yearning!

What you'll find in this story:
NYC
Grumpy/Sunshine
Ice Queen
Healing
Opposites Attract
Loathe to Love
Forced Proximity

There is nothing I love more than watching an Ice Queen absolutely MELT for the hopeless romantic FMC. And that's exactly what we got out of this one. This story is book 2 in a series. We originally meet these two FMCs in Take Two where they are each the best friend of Gemma and Caitlin. In this story, Hayley and Maddie are tasked with being the maids of Honor and helping to plan the wedding. Forced proximity and rising tension between the two lead to a complicated entanglement.

I absolutely devoured this book. I think I finished it in under 48 hours of receiving it and I still wanted more. I absolutely loved Hayley's character in Take Two and I knew there was so much more under the surface for her. The way Hayley wields her power and control was honestly, super hot, but you could tell that her entire persona was a shield for something deeper. And Maddie was just adorable. So honest and just yearning for that one true love to find her. The chemistry was off the charts in every interaction. The banter between Hayley and Maddie was delicious, and the spice was FIRE. The growth that I've seen from the author from her first book to this third book that she's written, is crazy. Her character development and writing quality just gets better and better. This book was everything that I want in a sapphic romance. It had me laughing, swooning, and definitely crying towards the end. I can not wait to see where the next book takes this cast of characters.

A must read

Giving up sleep was worth it, sleep is overrated anyway. And who doesn’t like 2am reviews.

I have been painstakingly waiting for this release once I saw the blurbs and reviews coming in from ARC’s. And it didn’t disappoint. I’ll even let the fact that this book had me crying at 1 am slide.

My favorite kinds of characters are the once that are icy and closed off but melt just for their person. That they are able to find that safety and security that allows them to soften. It’s that reason why I loved this book so much. There’s something so special about that and it highlights to me at least that even when our brain isn’t catching up fast enough to our feelings, our nervous system recognizes it. It was so satisfying to watch the shift in their dynamic from kind of friends to not so ‘casual’ friends. Every not date had me kicking my feet with giddiness and I think there was a good balance with Hayley’s hesitations. Honestly, Maddie is truly a saint for waiting.

Everything about this book was amazing. I’m just sad that I can’t experience it for the first time again. I highly recommend giving I’d Be Honored a read.

*** ARC REVIEW ***

I really enjoyed Gemma and Caitlin’s story in the first book in this series, so I was very happy to get to know Maddie and Hayley a bit more in this one. Their story is different but just as beautiful and engaging and I happily spent a day getting lost in their NYC romance. Maddie and Hayley are so completely different but the simmering attraction between them erupts and what follows is a hot and steamy exploration of what they truly want. I loved how they each discovered what they wanted, needed, and could give to each other in order to find the love they deserved. The author captures the wonder of NYC and it’s a perfect backdrop for this romance. All the characters are so well written that it was easy to get lost in their story; I truly could not put the book down. I love a book that tugs at your heart strings and makes you believe that love really exists and is worth fighting for. This book has it all - snarky banter, spice, longing, true friends, and a beautiful love story. Thank you to the author for providing an advanced reader copy.

Thank you to the author for the ARC! Having the physical book in my hands makes me so happy!

I’d Be Honored is definitely my favorite book by Erica Goodwin! I was able to read this in a day. I related to Hayley so much, not only in terms of being the same age, but also her insecurities and inner dialogue about relationships and fear of abandonment. We see a lot of Hayley’s past and why she is the way she is. Looking back, I do wish there was a little bit more of that with Maddie.

I can’t put my finger on it, but something about Maddie and Hayley just works. It’s probably the “opposites attract” of it all, but they are so freaking adorable.

I loved the references and motifs throughout. It wrapped everything up so well. I even started to like Caitlin from the first book in the series, Take Two and that’s saying a lot because I did not like her before this.

This is an easy 4.5 stars. I can’t wait to read more from Erica Goodwin and I hope this isn’t the last we see of the NYC girlies.

"I always thought being alone was the safest way to keep my heart in one piece, but I don't want to live like that anymore. I don't want to be afraid."

Just like Take Two, I devoured this one! It can be read as a standalone but I think it's even more fun to see the updates on our characters from Book 1 in the series! I loved that Maddie and Hayley were forced together to prepare for their friends' wedding, against the backdrop of NYC...but suddenly it doesn't seem like they're being forced anymore...

As an ice queen myself, I really resonated with how Hayley's character was written, and I loved her healing journey. Sometimes it's easier to build those walls up high, because you've been hurt too many times. I also really loved how Hayley's past was revealed slowly throughout the book.

Also, the cheeky realization of the meaning behind the title... ;)

Do yourself a favor and pick up I'd Be Honored by Erica Goodwin!

I’d Be Honored is my favorite Erica Goodwin so far. I’ll be honest. I’ve read Take Two, book 1 of the NYC Romance series, but I only vaguely remember Hayley and Maddie.

Book 2 started off strong with Hayley’s introduction. This woman has walls higher than you can ever imagine. Also… big top energy.
Maddie is sweeter. She wears her heart on her sleeve. They couldn’t be more different, so it was amusing to see them forced to get along for their best friend’s sake.

I ended up loving them so much. I was swooning hard as they spend time together. One of my favorite part in reading ice queen or grumpy/sunshine romance is when the ice queen/grumpy character gets vulnerable and shed their walls. It’s easy to understand Hayley’s fears once you get to that point.
Your Honor, I love them so much.

It was great to see Gemma and Caitlyn again. I love getting to see the continuation of their story while being strong support for Hayley and Maddie.

I’d Be Honored is such a good romance.

I’d Be Honored is my favourite book of Erica Goodwin’s. I really enjoyed this story. Hayley’s Ice Queen melting because of Maddie, not even realizing it is just so good! You’d definitely have to climb high then Mount Everest to get over Hayley’s walls, but Maddie does it with ease and likes her just the way she is. Hayley’s fear of abandonment and what she feels about relationships, is valid and relatable for some people. Maddie just wants her forever person, and she wears her heart on her sleeve. Throughout this whole book, Maddie is learning what she wants and what she doesn’t want in her life and relationships.

Witty banter between these two, wow, and the flirting too. I love the backdrop of New York and how it is shown through Hayley showing Maddie around to get the feel of New York. Not just tourist stuff either. I love these two characters more than Caitlin and Gemma, but they are still good friends to have after they got their shit together. The emotional parts really pull your heart strings. My god! I cried. The spice, it sizzles off the page. This book is beautifully written and explores how people are in timeline of wedding planning for four months, with feelings you didn’t think they need. It all comes together and love is worth it, just keep fighting for it, with trust and vulnerability.

Thank you for the ARC!

**ARC REVIEW**

I loved both Hayley and Maddie as supporting characters in Take Two and was so excited to get to know these two better!

I liked watching these two characters’ dynamic evolve over the course of the story from Hayley’s disdain to deep mutual love and trust. I also appreciated that even as Maddie made it clear what she was looking for and periodically established boundaries related to what she needed, she didn’t push Hayley too hard to change. She saw that they had a genuine connection and pushed Hayley to see it for what it was without demanding that she be ready right out of the gate for a serious relationship.

Despite some miscommunication, I didn’t find myself frustrated and wanting to shake the characters into having a conversation. It sometimes took a minute for Hayley, especially, to process her feelings and be able to voice them but they always got there relatively quickly.

Overall, I loved this sequel and can’t wait to see where the series goes next!

I absolutely devoured this book! Let me start by saying this is my favourite book in the series so far.

Hayley Maddox has entered into the realm of one of my favourite Ice Queens! I loved her character development, understanding how she ended up with her view of relationships.

Maddie’s determination to melt her was an entertaining read, I did however feel the compulsion to want to grab her by the shoulders and shake her during the wedding scene in the bathroom

A personal fave was the fact that there were multiple spicy scenes before a kiss! I think the slow burn was incredibly well done

Outside of the two main characters of this book, it was great seeing how the dynamic had developed between the 4 of them considering the stand-offish nature of Haley and Maddie in the first book. Also loved the introduction of Eve and Sandy, dare I say book 3?👀

Can’t wait to see future work from the author 🫶🏻

This book had so much potential to be a perfect read for me. The foundation of the story is really strong, the characters are interesting, and you can feel that there’s so much depth behind each of them and their personal stories.

My only issue is that everything felt a little too rushed at times. I really wish the author had taken more time to let certain moments breathe, especially when it came to the characters’ feelings and relationships. Some emotions are so important to understanding them and their choices, and I would have loved to actually sit with those feelings for a little longer instead of moving so quickly to the next scene.

That’s probably what frustrated me the most, because everything is there for this to be such a beautiful and deeply emotional story. The characters, their backgrounds, the emotions… it’s all there. I just wish the pacing had been a little slower and that certain moments had been given more space to develop and really hit.

I was accepted by Erica Goodwin to be a part of the ARC team for I’d Be Honoured and below is my honest review.

I was HONOURED to read this book. I loved it.

I’d be Honored is the second book in the NYC Romance series. We got to meet Hayley and Madison briefly in the first book so it was great to see their story unfold in this one.

Hayley is an ice queen who doesn’t do relationships. Madison is a ray of sunshine who wants to melt the ice. Their chemistry is immediate and intense (even if one of them tries to deny it). They are both beautifully written characters.

We get enemies to lovers, forced proximity AND grumpy x sunshine. We are spoilt with the tropes in this one!

This was an enjoyable, heartfelt read that had me rooting for them both. Some difficult topics are covered but they have been written very well. If you have any content triggers, I advise you to read any trigger warnings beforehand just to be on the safe side.

I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a trope filled sapphic romance!

Ps a character called Maddie? What a name 👀

I give this 4.5 stars!

Thank you Erica for asking me to read and review!

Good story overall! Good characters, although I felt irked by both of them and their ways of going about dating - both immature and frustrating in their own ways. I liked the sexual passion between them, but at times felt like do they even like each other or what does Maddie see in Hayley other than success and hot sex? Obviously all these things make for a great story which this was! The wording sometimes felt overly colorful and metaphoric, but at the same time it added to the intensity of the story. Excited to read the next book!

I’ve been in a book slump for quite a while, this book was what I needed! I devoured this book! I loved the characters, side characters (from first book), and setting (there were actual descriptions of places and neighborhoods). But, I will say though that I didn’t read the first book and probably never will because I don’t like the plot of it (I don’t think all second chance characters deserve a second chance). Anyway, fantastic book!

I’d give this book a 4.5/5 overall. 4/5 🌶️

I don’t actually understand why Hayley disliked Maddie in the first place - it never really made any sense.

This was a good read.

On a side note… Can someone tell me why authors tend to use full names when characters profess their love to one another? I always find this to be incredibly cringe. No one does this in real life.
