I know how relationships go. Sometimes they burn hot, sometimes they blow cold.
What they shouldn't do is turn to ice after three months.
I never thought I'd date a guy like Sean. He and I come from different worlds in almost every way. Heck, he earns his living with his fists, as a MMA champion.
But I wasn't blind enough to miss the fact he was my dream man. His body looked chiseled out of granite, his face resembled some Roman god and his tongue made me smile in more ways than one.
Things were amazing for a while.
Now he’s barely paying me an ounce of attention. We’re spending only a day or two together each week. And the sex that used to be transcendent is now non-existent.
I wish he’d tell me what’s up. I want so much for us to be back where things used to be.
But maybe there’s someone else in the mix.
And what if it’s not a someone? What if it’s a something? That sounds even worse.
Will this be the fight we can’t win?
Hot and Cold features sizzling dialogue, steamy sexual situations and some rough language. Mature and open-minded audiences only. This story is meant to be read as a standalone, but follows the events of Black and Blue
Short and sweet. This isn't a full storyline or plot-based narrative, but more of a glimpse into Sean and Gabi's world after they've settled into their relationship.
There seems to be trouble in Paradise because Sean is distant, and Gabi is feeling neglected. First thought is he's creeping, but there's more to it than meets the eye. There are some sexy scenes in here too but not overly raunchy or gratuitous.
I really like this young couple and want to see more of them, but with a little more substance because they both got it going on.
A quick short read and continuation of Gabi and Sean's story. I only wish there was a little more character development, I think this is going to be apart of a series but I'm not sure.
I'm not sure if this novella was really needed. It was just a bit of something that equalled nothing. I was hoping to see more development between the two lovers. I think more time and proper editing would have helped this book tremendously. What didn't hurt was the authors natural flow and the likability of the characters, although I must say that the heroine works my nerves being so judgmental of the crowds who supports her man's career.
In a nutshell, not a bad read, but not a great one either. It was just okay.
Fanning the dying embers of love, romance and togetherness.
3.75 stars. This is the continuation of Gabrielle's and Sean's story from the book, 'Black and Blue'. In this story, Sean has lost a couple of fights and his high ranking in the multi-arts fight game which has caused him to become distant and withdrawn from Gabi. Gabi is trying to perfect a gumbo recipe with the hope of winning a culinary contest which will enhance her chances in becoming a chef. Their romance and quality time together has gone from 'hot to cold' or from being together and enjoying each other's company to rarely seeing each other. While this story is well written, it lacks the quality and flow of the first installation, and is miles from 'Storm's Soldiers MC' books.
This was just a cute story. Not a lot of drama and action. There were a few missing words and misspelled words, but nothing to earth shaking. You could tell what they should have easily. I'll keep reading your interracial books Paige
I always enjoy Ms. Notaro's books. This was a nice follow up to Rick and Gabi first book. I always enjoy the interactions between her characters, which leads to stronger story lines. Can't wait to read what's next.
This novella is just another well written page Turner by Ms. Notaro. I have read several of her books and have enjoyed them all. I hope you will give them a try.
I enjoy reading Ms. Notaro's novellas. I just wish she could have just had one book. I feel like the authors write the whole book then just divide it into novellas to make more money. And I wish it could have been more than six chapters long.
