I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review

I enjoy Second Chance stories and the part in the blurb about the little girl made me excited to give this a try. This book wasn't what i expected both in the good and the bad sense of the word. The pace and progression of the story was very original for a romance novel. There was no build-up, they had sex in one of the first chapters and things moved very quickly from there on. I liked the different pace, I didn't like the lack of build-up as it didn't make me feel the romance. Then the first 50% was actually pretty okay and I liked how things moved different than in most romance books.

Then the second 50% I am not sure what happened there. The conflict was introduced in the form of Chloe her ex and I did not like it at all. They were suddenly fighting and having weird conversations, trying to make the other see their point of view. And then there was Chloe her mom. And then in the end things got solved so quickly and the book was suddenly over and done with. It was weird and didn't work for me. The writing style also didn't fully work for me and I never felt fully into the story or connected with the characters, which was a shame. It was more like watching from afar. And then there the the redecoration of the house plot and Chloe her work, that more felt to add a bit of background to the characters, but I never really felt like we got an insight in what was goign on and what she was doing.

The characters were okay, they were nice and likeable, but I never really cared for them. They just fell a bit flat. Chloe was the good girl who did what her mom wanted and ended up in an abusive relationship. Now she's back in her hometown and she get's a second chance at love. Quinn was the slow kid in school, but made a name for himself with fighting and now is taking it easy and building a life with his daughter and one of his friends who helps take care of her. He was a bit too possessive and thinking he could solve everything, while Chloe wanted to solve everything herself instead of let Quinn help. They could be quite frustrating together.

The side characters were pretty flat and just there for their connection with the main characters, although I did like Nell. Apparently this is the first book in the series, but aside form Nell, the other family member and next main characters didn't get introduced at all, which I think was a missed opportunity. I actually thought it was a standalone until I read it was a series. So yeah the side characters weren't as fleshed out as I hoped. And I didn't like the kid as much as I hoped either, I always find children such interesting characters in books and I especially like it in the case of a single parent falling in love. But the kid just wasn't an interesting character, she kept demanding things and was present in a few scenes, but I never really cared for her, which was a shame.

Like I mentioned before the romance developed very fast and it worked okay, but the fast development made me feel like something was missing. Yes they knew each other when they were kids, but they basically take no time connecting and just jump in bed and the next moment they are talking of marriage and I was just sitting there thinking how did that happen so fast. It went so fast I felt like they skipped the actual getting to know each other part. Sure they made a nice couple, but I never felt it. And some of the sex scenes and kissing scenes were a bit cringe worthy and I skipped over most of them. They didn't work for me. I didn't feel their chemistry and while they made a good couple, I just wanted to feel more invested and caring about them and their romance.

The book takes place in a small town setting, but I didn't really feel the cozy-ness. I love the cosy feel of small town setting, but the setting didn't get much focus here. The focus was all on the romance and the story. The only aspect of small town life we get is a gossip loving women who works at the dinner and spreads the word of Chloe and Quinn begin together throughout town.

To conclude: I liked how this book took an original approach to the traditional romance book pace and story progression. There is no slow build-up, obligatory break-up at the end and then the happy ending. It's more jumping into bed together, talk about marriage and then dealing with the past. I liked the daring approach, it was different and original and not many romance book are original. Beside that it felt mostly flat, I didn't much care about the conflict with her ex and her mom and then how quickly it was all solved and rushed up at the end. the characters are nice enough, but stay flat, just like the side characters. And the little girl who could've added some spark, felt like a demanding little girl who always got what she wanted. Although she had some adorable moments, I had hoped for more. I didn't fully feel the romance and the writing style didn't work for me. The small town setting didn't got much attention, beside the gossip loving waitress. It just fell a bit flat for me. Overall I enjoyed this book, but the first 50% was more towards the 4 star, with the second half towards the 2 star. So all in all, it was just okay, with some nice elements and some I could've done without. I don't think I'll be continuing this series.

The Good Girl's Second Chance – A Bravos of Justice Creek novel- by Christine Rimmer is a 2015 Harlequin Special Edition publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, Christine really added some red hot spices to the recipe in this one!

Quinn Bravo was the guy with a 'bad boy' reputation and Chloe was burdened with the 'good girl' image. Because of these perceptions and the expectations from others, Chloe kept her attraction to Quinn a secret while they were teenagers.

Now both Quinn and Chloe have returned home, Quinn as a single father, and Chloe is trying to put her life back in order after escaping an abusive marriage. One evening, they discovered they were neighbors and the sparks flew, leading to a heated night of passion. However, Chloe is determined to leave it as a one and done situation, but Quinn would like nothing more than to date Chloe properly and would not object to a long term relationship with her. But, even if he can talk Chloe into giving him a chance, outside forces seem determined to drive a wedge between them.

The chemistry between Chloe and Quinn is never in doubt. They went from zero to a hundred in no time flat! Usually, when this happens in a romance novel I'm a little let down. I'm one of those slow burn types who enjoy a titillating build up. It's part of what keeps me turning the pages, so when Chloe and Quinn hit the sheets in record time, I wondered what the author was thinking.

As it turns out, most of this story is centered around Chloe and her struggle to snatch control of her life away from her domineering and manipulative mother and ex-husband. On the surface, it would appear Chloe has everything a woman could want, but nothing could be further from the truth. Her mother likes to gloat and brag about how her daughter turned out, how well she had married, and what a charmed life she led. She was so entrenched in this make believe world, she couldn't accept that it wasn't the fairytale she made it out to be.

Now, Chloe is dating Quinn, a man who doesn't measure up to her mother's high standards. To complicate matters more, Chloe'e ex-husband, now re-married, has suddenly decided he wants to make contact with Chloe again. Obviously, the man is dangerous, so Quinn wants to step in and protect Chloe. This is the only real conflict between the couple, since Chloe would rather handle the situation with her ex on her own terms.

Quinn's character isn't as fleshed out and the back story with his daughter is glossed over a great deal. Still, it would seem Quinn's role here is to be a stable influence while Chloe's life is in all this turmoil. The couple is already committed to one another by the half way mark in the book, but they still have lots of sexy time moments, this being one of the steamiest novels from the author I have read in a while.

The author took a bit of an unconventional approach with this one, and I will admit to being a little taken aback by it initially. But, now that I've mulled it over a while, I think I understand what the author was trying to achieve. This book could very easily fall into the chick-lit or women's fiction genre, despite the explicit sex.
Although Chloe and her mother have a good long heart to heart, I think some real professional help would be in order, and that situation will not be an easy fix, even if some progress is made.

The most important thing, in the end ,though, was that Quinn and Chloe are together and will finally have their HEA.

Overall 3.5 rounded to 4

I've been reading Christine Rimmer's books for at least 15 years. I found one of the Bravo books by accident and was hooked. I saw this one on NetGalley and couldn't wait to read it.

This is the story of Quinn Bravo. I don't really remember a mention of him but I'm sure that he has been, there are so many Bravo's I lose count! Anyway Quinn has moved back home to Justice Creek and he's a success. He is a championship fighter, now retired. He lives with his daughter and his coach/friend, Manny. He's noticed, up the hill from his house, in some condo's lives Chloe Winchester. He always had a thing for her but she was the good girl, and he was one of those Bastard Bravos. One night when they're both on their back decks, Chloe invites him up to her home. It's all he needs.

Chloe has always been the good girl. She's done what she thought she needed to do to make her mother happy. She did well in school, she dated the right boys and even married someone her mother thought would be good for her. Turns out he was the worst possible thing for her. He was mentally and physically abusive, he also cheated on her. The cheating was the last straw so she divorced him and moved back to Justice Creek and started a design studio. Inviting Quinn up to her condo was a spur of the moment thing but it led to so much more. A life she never thought she'd have and couldn't dream of wanting.

Quinn is intense and he knows what he wants. I really liked that the guy in this book was the pursuer, he didn't let grass grow under his feet. He had her back and wanted to protect her in everything. Chloe was learning how to be an independent person, she had leaned on her parents and then her husband and so she wanted to stand on her own but it was hard to do that. Quinn was so sturdy she caught herself wanting to lean in the odd times and now when she should've. That alone made me want to shake her a few times. The book was fast and had just enough angst to keep me wanting to read and only read. Let me know what you think! Leave the author love in the form of a review!

Good plot, some funny serious scenes with Chloe and her self- defense lessons, drama aplenty, romance, cute little girl but too many love scenes.

Quinn Bravo has come back to his home town with his four year old daughter, & manager now taking over the house and babysitting his daughter. Quinn is opening a fitness business.

Chloe Winchester the good girl has come back after her life fell apart. Her lawyer husband abused her and cheated on her. She has opened her own decorating store.

Quinn was from the wrong Bravo family, know as the slow one in school , the one who was always fighting. While Chloe was the good girl and going places.

Now they live next door. One night late they are both outside and meet up and have one wild night, but it is not enough. Quinn gets serious fast but Chloe says one thing and does another she has issues to still work out.

I love how tough Quinn is but he treats his little girl so special. He also treats Chloe well and listens to her.

The setting is Justice Creek, Colorado.

I plan to read the next book in the Bravo series soon.

I was given this ebook from Net Galley and Harlequin. In return I agreed to give a honest review of The Good Girls Second Chance.

I love second chance type stories. It is filled with hope, renewed energy and the thrill that life can give you a second chance on almost everything. Starting a new business; moving to a new home; and, finding love is always a good thing. There are sad times when you marry the wrong person; there are moments when family gives up on you; and, there is sadness when friends walk away. This book is wonderful and filled with new beginnings. One of my favorite in this story is a little girl named Annabelle. Even as a little girl she had lost so much but her loving Dad and Manny worked every day to give her a fulfilled life. It’s a great story-line.

Very good book. Quinn and Chloe knew each other as kids, but Quinn was the bad boy and Chloe the good girl. They were interested in each other as teens, but expectations and reputations kept them apart. Now both have moved back to Justice Creek.

Quinn has a four year old daughter and a growing fitness business. He's not looking for a relationship right now, but he's drawn to his beautiful neighbor. Chloe came back home after divorcing her cheating and abusive husband. She has her own interior design business that is also starting to grow. She's not in any hurry to risk her heart again.

Late one night, when neither can sleep, they meet in the darkness. There is an instant attraction and connection that they see no reason to fight. Though the original plan was for one night, neither wants to give up on whatever it is they have. Though their physical relationship has a quick and hot start, that's not all they have together. I loved seeing the way that they talk together often and have shared pieces of their painful pasts with each other.

Quinn quickly realizes that he wants Chloe in his life permanently. He proposes marriage, then gives Chloe the time she needs to be sure of what she wants. Quinn is very protective of those he cares about, and when he discovers that Chloe is having issues with her ex, he wants to help. Chloe knows that she's fallen for Quinn and wants to be with him. But it has taken time for her to get her life together after her divorce, and to find her independence. When she was younger she had allowed her mother to have a lot of negative influence on her life and she's working to overcome that. When she starts getting creepy messages from her ex, she is determined to deal with it herself.

This causes some conflict between Quinn and Chloe. He wants to protect her and care for her, and he is extremely frustrated by her refusal to allow him to help. I could understand, because he was worried about her safety. I had a great deal of respect for Quinn, because though he didn't like it, he promised Chloe to stay out of it. There's still a part of Chloe that blames herself for her problems with Ted, and that part is determined to solve her problems herself, without leaning on Quinn. I liked seeing the way that she was confident enough in Quinn to ask him to honor her wishes. She knew what she was doing bothered him, but she really felt that she wouldn't deserve Quinn if she didn't take care of it herself. The ending was intense, but both Chloe and Quinn came through with flying colors.

I really enjoyed the secondary characters also. Quinn's daughter was a real sweetheart. Quinn's love for her was obvious and I loved seeing how he could be soft and tough with her at the same time. His worries about her are one of the things that brought he and Chloe together. Chloe fell for Annabelle almost as fast as she fell for Quinn. I really liked the way they connected over the fairy dress that Annabelle wanted. I liked Quinn's friend/helper Mannie and his part in pushing Quinn and Chloe together. It wasn't very subtle, but it was effective. I also liked seeing more of Quinn's family, especially his sister Nell. The face off she had with Chloe was pretty amusing, but it really showed the love and support that the Bravo family has for each other. The only character I didn't like (besides Ted) was Chloe's mother. She was a real piece of work and I hated the way she talked to Chloe. I loved seeing Chloe stand up to her and stand her ground. She redeemed herself a little bit at the end, so I hope she continues to improve.

"The Good Girl's Second Chance" written by Christine Rimmer spins the heart warming Romance of Chloe Winchester and Quinn Bravo. Back in high school, Chloe was the resident good girl controlled by her mother. Quinn was the rough and ready illegitimate son of Franklin Bravo. The couple may have thought about each other back then but they never acted on it. Life happened and the couple found themselves back in Justice Creek, Chloe, divorced from an abusive husband and Quinn, a single father. One night, they both found themselves staring across the courtyard between their yards. Quinn ventured over and they agreed to have one night of passion. Quinn and Chloe soon discovered that one night would not even begin to dim the passion they had for each other.

One of the things I liked about Chloe was that she was trying to obtain her independence. She may have been a mama's girl, pushed into an abusive marriage but she was finding her own way now. Although, Chloe's stubbornness did get her in hot water with Quinn when her ex-husband started harassing her, I admired that she stood her ground even when she probably should have listened to Quinn. I was thrilled when Chloe decided to take self defense lessons, so she could defend herself. One of my favorite scenes was when she was so upset at her ex-husband that she keeps fighting her instructor until he called time out. The peace de la resistance was when she got to practice the techniques she learned with her husband. He was begging her stop before it was over.

What I really admired about Quinn was that he let Chloe butt with her own head, he may not have wanted to but he did as long as she kept in him the loop. I know Quinn got frustrated with Chloe for trying to handle the ex husband on her own but he recognized her need to assert herself. Quinn had a wonderful relationship with Annabelle, his four year old daughter. He took his role as daddy very seriously scaring away monsters each night. I loved the vulnerability of Quinn when he reveals his past learning problems and his diagnosis of dyslexia with Chloe. He genuinely thought it might be a deal breaker for them.

Despite the obstacles in Quinn and Chloe way, such as Chloe's mother and ex-husband, Chloe's reluctance to set a date, the couple were finally able to become a happy family with sweet little Annabelle. Christine Rimmer consistently delivers a captivating story of love. I would highly recommend this book. It has just the right amount of heartfelt cuteness and steamy love scenes. Thank you, Ms. Rimmer for stealing our hearts once again and captivating our minds.

The Good Girl's Second Chance is Christine Rimmer’s latest edition to The Bravos of Justice Creek series. Ms. Rimmer has written another heartwarming Bravos story. She introduces her readers to Chloe Winchester. Chloe did all the right things growing up. She went to college and married a professional. She did everything her controlling mother wanted of her except she divorced her husband. After her divorce, she returned home to Justice Creek and opened her design studio.

Quinn Bravo returned to Justice Creek after a successful career as a fighter and is launching a line of fitness studios. He’s also returned with a four year old daughter and his trainer Manny who helps take care of his household and daughter. Quinn was known as a bad boy of sorts in school but little did anyone know that he was dealing with a learning disability which he covered with his bad boy attitude. Quinn’s daughter Annabelle is precious.

Quinn decides to redecorate his home and calls on Chloe. His daughter is dying for a princess bedroom, so Quinn hires Chloe to make his daughter’s dream come true. Quinn knows almost from the get go that he wants to marry Chloe— he just needs to convince her. From the outset this couple connects and finds themselves trying to walk down a path towards a happily ever-after. Enter Chloe’s mother and her abusive ex-husband and Ms. Rimmer weaves us down a path filled with obstacles until Quinn and Chloe find their way to happiness.

I am a fan of Ms. Rimmer and her various Bravo series and she definitely did not disappoint me with The Good Girl's Second Chance. I highly recommend The Good Girl's Second Chance as it was a fast paced read for me as I read it in one sitting. I look forward to reading her next book in her Bravo series. I’d like to disclose that I received an advance copy of The Good Girl's Second Chance in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Talking about a story taking you by surprise... This is a powerful, empowering story about a woman, who has always lived by her controlling and snobbish mother's wishes and orders, only to find out the 'perfect' husband was not only a cheater, but also abusive.
Now back in her hometown, she is trying to find her feet again, learn to stand up for herself, to protect herself, and fight back when necessary.
In the midst of all this, the boy from her childhood, the one who caught her eye already then, but whom she was afraid to approach, moves back as well. And right into her life.
Everything between Quinn and Chloe is so natural, the lightness and ease they have with each other is lovely, the passion they bring out in each other is hot, and the peace of mind they have in each others company goes beyond what Chloe dreamed of. But to have their HEA, she has a few battles to fight first.
The story is refreshingly different, there's no doubt in Quinn and Chloe's mind about each other, it is the threatening behavior of her ex, Ted, and the problems with her mother, that are keeping them from walking down the altar.
And as Chloe works with her issues, both in her mind, and by taking self-defense classes, the danger escalates, the fear takes hold, until everything comes to a crashing halt.
The story has sweet, adorable, passionate love story, a big meddling family that would do anything to help you if needed, controlling mother issues, cutest four year old, with danger elements mixed in. I loved how Chloe faced her biggest fears, and overcame them, not giving up on her right for happiness, love, and her own family, while the matter of domestic abuse was handled with care, dignity and respect towards the victim

In the newest installation of the Bravos series, Christine Rimmer gives us a great version of the “bad boy – good girl” story. Quinn Bravo and Chloe Winchester knew each other as kids. Chloe was the good girl who married, as her mom and the rest of the town expected, a rich attorney. He turned out to be not what she wanted or expected, so she divorced him and moved back home to start an interior decorating business. Quinn was a successful fighter who came home to start his own physical fitness center.

They got together for just “one night,” they promised each other. Though the physical aspect of their relationship happened quicker than I am used to in this author’s books, it ended up fitting in with the storyline. They each had somewhat of a secret crush on each other in high school and each wondered about the other over the years. Neither wanted just that one night, as it turned out.

Aided by Quinn’s precious daughter and his father-figure, Manny, circumstances kept Quinn and Chloe in each other’s lives. Quinn asked Chloe to marry him, but she had several hang-ups about marriage, having been through a bad one. She was also, as the title reflects, the “good girl,” always doing what her mother expected of her. She wanted to learn to stand up for herself. Fortunately, Quinn was willing to wait.

Chloe’s journey to do that ended, naturally, with her accepting Quinn’s proposal. Please go out and buy this book for your own “keepers” library. You’ll enjoy the story, fall in love with Annabelle and Manny, and cheer on Quinn and Chloe.

I JUST LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I could not stop reading The Good Girl's Second Chance by Christine Rimmer!!! Who can resist a well-muscled hunk, ex-ultimate fighter who is also a single father raising his little girl??? You will love gorgeous, sexy Quinn Bravo and lovely, sweet, smart Chloe Winchester. Chloe is a survivor of a truly horrible marriage and Quinn is a wonderful man overcoming a childhood learning disability.
Chloe and Quinn grew up together but moved in different social circles. Now, they are both back in their home town and starting over. Rimmer brilliantly creates wonderful, relatable characters you can immediately connect with as well as hot, sexy romance that further captivates you.
I loved the storyline and the romance of The Good Girl's Second Chance. It was empowering to see two vulnerable people putting their pasts behind them to find happiness and love. I get excited about each new Bravo story and can't wait for more!!!! ( I can't wait to read Nell's story!!!)
Chloe's and Quinn's tale is romantic and sexy as well as being uplifting. The very best kind of romance a novel can have. I just loved The Good Girl's Second Chance by Christine Rimmer and I can't wait for her next romance!

I don't know what it is about that cover, but I'm not really fond of it. This was another one of those books that I've chosen randomly to give a shot despite the cover. Plus it was published by Harlequin and I'm a fan of the publisher so I requested and received a ARC of the book provided by Netgalley.

There was just something off about the book. I just wasn't much into it. It definitely felt rushed throughout the book. I wished there was more to the book that made it unique.I didn't like how their relationship escalated, normally a book will introduce characters with that build up to that relationship but no. This book went from not being anything to sleeping with each other and it was just random and I don't feel necessary. Then there's the whole rushing into getting engaged before knowing much of anything about each other. I personally didn't like that Quinn was rushing a bit of pressuring Chloe for a save the date for the wedding. The storyline was interesting enough, I just wished that there was enough of the book to make it more unique and enjoyable. I also wish is wasn't rushed, it made everything seem a bit ridiculous.

I'm so happy the author decided to cut through the crap, and got Chloe and Quinn together right away. I'm so tired of the dancing around, when you know they want each other! Since they'd been acquaintances while growing up in the same town, I didn't find the pace of their relationship rushed.

Annabelle was a doll! I kept thinking that she was dropping glitter everywhere with her princess wand! Having an ex-gym trainer as a nanny...what a grand idea! Annabelle loves Manny, and Quinn looks up to him. A perfect family unit!

I enjoyed the tension when Chloe's ex come into the picture, and I'm also glad Quinn could read Chloe so easily and made her tell him what was wrong. I not a fan books where one or the other of the couple prevaricates continually...usually to the detriment of the relationship...until finally they spill the beans which leads to the HEA.

All in all, a very nice read.

There is nothing sexier than a man who is focused on being a good father. Quinn Bravo is intent on making his daughter happy and keeping his business successful. Chloe has decided to start over in a different environment. Focus on work and rebuilding her life should keep her from repeating past mistakes. Then again, anything is possible when a Bravo is involved. I love the Bravo's. Have followed the series from the very beginning. Through different generations and branches of their family tree. What I like most about this family is that they are good people that bond together through good times and bad. And they aren't above a little matchmaking either. Christine Rimmer always writes stories that mix family, emotion and enchanting characters in all her workings.
I received an ARC of The Good Girl's second chance in exchange for an honest review. With this family I always come back for more.

"The Good Girl's Second Chance (Bravo's of Justice Creek)" by Christine Rimmmer is a continuation of the series but it is also a book that can be a read alone. As with most books in series I recommend reading the whole series because it gives the reader an inside to the community. It was a wonderful, quick read.

Chloe Winchester was a good girl who followed her parents rules and married her college sweetheart. Unfortunately, he turned out to be an abuser. (I can say this because it is revealed early in the story.) She returns to Justice Creek, Colorado to start her life anew. Quinn Bravo is a single father to an adorable little girl whose Mother gave Quinn full custody as she wanted nothing to do with her daughter. The two knew each other while in school, and growing up. They connect in a way where they both are leary about romance but can't seem to stay away from each other.

a wonderful continuation of The Bravos of Justice Creek series but it can stand alone.Quinn Bravo was the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks when in school, while Chloe Winchester was the good girl with her life planned out. Years later, Quinn is a millionaire, former fighter, gym club owner and single father to an adorable 4 year old girl. Chloe is now divorced from an abusive husband and is back in her hometown. All the characters are very 3 dimensional, complicated and everything feels real in this book. Can't wait for the next installment of the series.

Christine Rimmer, you did it again. I really liked this one. I loved all the characters. Though, I found myself yelling at the ex-husband and the mother a lot. All in all, I highly recommend it. We have a single dad, and his trainer that are both raising a little girl. We have a woman that comes home to start all over and finds that the man she secretly had a crush on in school is her next door neighbor. We have added characters that cause enough friction and drama that make this an all around great book. Oh and a little girl that is the sweetest kid ever.

First off I love all of Christine's books but this one was just awesome! It was so different than most romance novels. I loved how even though it was only suppose to be a one night stand for Quinn and Chloe it evolved so smoothly into a relationship. They both wanted more and they both showed each other so much love and respect through the whole book. I loved it! My only negative thing was I so wanted Chloe to let Quinn go after her abusive ex husband but the way it was written worked out for the best. Christine you always get it right. Great Great love story!

The Good Girl Second Chance by Christine Rimmer grabs you into the story right at the first, Chloe Winchester divorces her lying cheating abusive husband Ted Davis and her snob mom that thinks everything has to be perfect. Quinn Bravo 4 year old daughter Annabelle and manager Manny moves back home, watch out Manny likes to play matchmaker, sparks flies between Chloe and Quinn read to see if they both have second chance at love they both have lots of ups and downs to make this work.

Christine Rimmer does it once again with a Bravo family story! Quinn and Chloe were childhood friends...bad boy....good girl. As adults, Quinn has gotten it all together--he has a daughter and a business. He is working hard to dispel the "bad boy" image. Chloe is coming off of a VERY bad marriage. Throw in a beautiful little girl that wants to be a fairy princess, a "manny" and a crazy ex-husband....and you have an amazing story of second chances. Such a good read! Highly recommend!

I love stories of second chances because of my oldest daughter. Abuse is wrong period. Men who abuse make excuses from what I've heard. Chloe battles thinking she is free but she isn't. As het ex stalks her she knows fear. Quinn was made fun of gowing up because of a learning disability. He fought his way through life in more ways than one. The real story of love is Quinn wanting to protect Chloe - not the love making.

I received this book free of charges from Harlequin, só First of call i have to thank them.

About the story it was a sweet one, i enjoy the book in general, some little things take me out of seriouness, like the atitude of Chloe every time Quinn want to help her, but over call i like the plot.

I have to admite i love all the times where quinn and his little daughter appears, expecially the ones of the monsters.

This is another great read from Christine Rimmer. The Bravo series is my favorite. The characters are down to earth and easy to familiarize with. The story is good for showing how a woman can use her inner strength with a little backup from a fiance, to overcome a serious obstacle and stand up for herself.
