This book gave Lifetime channel Mafia story . None of the characters were likable. The FMC at least wasn’t a weepy crybaby but the plot , story and characters were childish and annoying . Do not recommend.
This book had so much potential, but ultimately fell flat for me. The character development felt stunted, and somewhat lacking. It felt like there were missing gaps within the story, and Joy was honestly just plain annoying by the end.
Claimed by My Ex's Dad by Bella Page delivers a fast-paced, steamy, and unapologetically taboo romance packed with tension, forbidden attraction, and possessive Bratva alpha energy. If you're looking for a romance that leans heavily into the "ex's father" trope with an intense age gap dynamic, this book doesn't hold back. One of the things I really enjoyed about this novel is how the chemistry between the main characters was immediate and electric. The forbidden nature of their relationship creates constant emotional and romantic tension, while the Bratva backdrop adds danger, suspense, and high stakes to every chapter. Overall, Claimed by My Ex's Dad was spicy, addictive read that was hard to put down once I started!

Joy is attempting to break into her ex/Igor’s apartment when his dad/Valerian kidnaps her. “My son,” he begins, stroking a finger over his lip, “has betrayed me.” “You take an oath when you join the Bratva. And my son went against his oath.” “My son needs to learn a lesson,” he says. “Igor can’t betray me and expect everything to go on the same as before. Life doesn’t work that way.” “I’m taking everything away from my son.” “I’m taking away his apartment. His money. His woman.” “This is outrageous. I broke up with Igor two days ago.” “And you still mean a lot to him.” Valerian does whatever he wants as the “Pahkan of the Sokolov Bratva.” Joy is not a do what you’re told kind of woman. 316 pages of angst, explicit spice, violence to a hard earned HEA.
'Claimed by My Ex’s Dad is a steamy standalone, age gap romance that is guaranteed to make you fall for the ruthless mafia daddy. No cheating, no cliffhangers, HEA guaranteed!'
The characters were very appealing and complex and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

The body betrayal syndrome ruined it for me. It’s like the whole time she was more worried about getting off than about how she was forced into a marriage and basically locked away from the outside world.
Also, Valerian was a literal man-child. Insufferable. His ego was too big for me to like his character.
