Lady Riders’ A Bitch who is in it for the long run, will stay with you and have your back no matter what.
In book one of the Lady Words to live by and words to die by that is what they were building. Rain knows that, but also knows her past is going to shake their new club to the core. It will put them to the test when they discover Rain’s past could ultimately bring them down. Knight and Charro have been Nomads for a longtime, and they are ready to settle, especially after they agree Rain is the woman for them. However, all bets are off when her past is revealed, and the men watch their idea of the future fade as fast as it had become known. Blood will be shed, ties will be tested, and the Lady Riders will define what it is to be a biker!
Just started this new series, Lady Riders these books are the women's story's from Harley other series. So far I am enjoying them, as you may notice I can't stop reading Harley McRide's books.
The women have started up their own Motorcycle Club and they are just as determined as the men in the Ops Warriors MC.
Rain falls is book one in the lady rider’s series. I am slightly confused on the reading order of the connecting series – this series and the op warrior’s series. I have read books two and three in the ops warriors series – I read half of Freedom’s story but couldn’t get into it. I looked on Harley McRide’s good reads and her list of reading order for the books. It was said that this book was next yet I felt like I had missed a bit of information. Despite that confusion, I really enjoyed this book. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I really liked Rain and I liked that she finally had the guts to confess her past to Shady and the girls. What pissed me off was the men’s reaction. I understood their reasons but instead of standing by Rain, they were ready to chuck her to the wolves and let her fend for herself. I loved Shady and the lady rider’s reactions and determination to not let their men kick Rain out. I wasn’t a massive fan of Knight. He was an asshole to Rain for no reason. When he learnt of her past, he instantly wanted her out then the next minute he wanted to claim her. I liked how laid back yet protective Churro was of Rain. When Knight and Churro fought Rain’s attempts at pushing them away, I liked that they didn’t give up. The chemistry between Churro, Knight and Rain was clear to see. I liked them as a couple/ménage relationship. I liked that the girls weren’t willing to let the men take over and sort Rain’s problems out. I was amused at everyone’s reaction when Rick Tang, Rain’s father arrived. I loved the bantering between the girls and Rick. I loved that Rick gave up his career in order to help his daughter. When Zane and Angel’s plan backfired, I laughed. When they were confronted by the MC, and their reactions to being ambushed. Some of the scenes in this book are kindle and pantie melting hot. The passion between Knight, Churro and Rain is through the roof. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an action packed read. I cannot wait to read more books from this series.
Started off good but quickly sunk into yet another book padded out with the same sex scenes, nothing remotely bad ass about the lady riders, I mean what did they actually do? And such a pathetic resolution to rains problem that I'm not even bothering paying another 4 euros for a 200 page book that is so not worth it.
Just feels like I'm reading the same book over n over again. The end of the road for me for all the series.
I must say, I was mighty impressed by the first book in the Lady Riders series! It was very hard to picture Rain as the pompous, spoiled little rich girl she says she once was. I like her so much better as Rain.
I love how the LRs stood up for themselves in front of the Warriors and the Savages, let them know that despite their caveman and Neanderthal ways, they are capable women who can defend themselves. They can stand and fight, they can plan, formulate ideas, they can do it all dammit! They are women! Hear them ROAR! It was stupid and rather condescending of the men to assume otherwise, especially when every single one of those women have stood side by side with the men and have shown their skills in a fight!
The best thing about this book was the fact that they were always one step ahead of Zane and Angel! I loved that! Right when I thought things were going south...I was surprised by Rain and the gang (I use that term affectionately)! Oh and kudos to General Rick Tang for standing by his daughter...that was a nice surprise and added twist to the story...
So far book one into this series started off amazingly good, even with the triad of Rain, Knight and Charro who try as they might were only dominant in the bedroom, not outside of it. Book two is about Treat, who I've never really taken shine to, she seems like the weakest link of the bunch and I already see her as what I hate the most, a weak, stupid female lead who falls for the any crap the H's say...let's hope I'm wrong.
A great first book for the Lady Riders series. These girls on some tough bi*ches. I adore them and how they stand up to the men in the MC . Rain was amazing in this story and is tough as nails especially since she was brought up living the good life and her ordeal she went through. Knight and Charro were just the right men to take her own because I'm not sure any other men could have handled her and they definitely had chemistry together. All in all a great first book. Really looking forward to Treats book.
absolutely love this new book and the two other affiliated series. They broach a lot of tough subjects with care and empathy despite the rough and tumble nature of the characters and their stories. The men are total neanderthals when it comes to claiming their women and keeping them safe and the women are wild and badass but these tales are a real treasure to read. The strength of the characters and the super hot steamy sex scenes still manage to bring a feeling of romance even though this type of romance is far from typical.
Hm... it's the first book of the series, but several times I had the feeling I missed something? A lot of characters are from the Ops Warriors MC Series and the Devil Savages MC Series and I've only read a few books of those series... and had mixed feeling about them! Besides I felt like I missed things, this story just didn't 'feel' right. I like strong women and power babes but the Lady Riders just didn't work for me! And then the way Knight an Charro claimed Rain?? Weird! Nope, this book did not do it for me! I'd say 3 very small ieniemienie stars!
Absolutely loved Rain Falls. Rain our female lead is strong, stubborn and sexy. Our hero's, Nomads Charro and Knight, alpha, sexy beasts that have decided that Rain is theirs, even if she hasn't agreed. Who could say no to these two sex Gods. Rain Called is fast paced, full of sexy time between the sheets, humor and action packed scenes. This story concludes were Highway to Heaven left off and its oh so much fun. Happy Reading
She's done it again! It's a Great story but unfortunately I think I skipped a book or two because I wasn't up to date on some of the things mentioned in this book. But that's on me not the author.
This story was a bit different then the others because the women where more in centrum then the others. They are all badasses who fight for their families. Finally an author who focuses on the strong female characters in the mc world
Spin off series from Ops Warriors, here we learn about Rain's past. Wecatch up with old characters and meet new ones. Knight and Charro are both Nomads who are thinking about settling down and have Rain in their sight. This story is funny, witty, constantly something is happening. Read it in one go from start to finish. Great sex too ;-)
It had been awhile since I read the previous books, so I wasn't sure I'd be able to jump right in, but it was okay. The story line that arc's came back to me. My only complaint would be is that we are constantly told how bad ass these ladies are but don't really get to 'see' it in this book. Enjoyed though and can't wait to read the next one.
Excellent story! I know it is fiction and in real life MCs are unlikely to let women get so involved, but for a short time it felt good to pretend that women could stand up and contribute to saving other women.
