Where on earth do I begin with this book!

I was hosting for the tour for this book Mollify and it grabbed my attention. I usually help out in tours but not always read the books, but something grabbed my eye, even though this is a book in a series of books and I had not read the ones before this, I carried on and offered to read and review it. I am happy my gut feelings were right.

I have never read a book by this author before Xavier Neal although I have seen many of their books and even marked some to read.

I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT!
The thing is, if I am honest, I don't always read these hot hot HOTTIE alpha males and some stories can run into another, but this is the second 'romance' I have read this week. THIS one really stood out to me as its written in such a way that you can't help but love.

Its difficult to explain, but I will try my best...we have the books pages as normally laid out, but then we get deeper bold print that sort of gets inside each persons head who is speaking, its quite fascinatingly done, very clever. And in some ways, some things made me chuckle.


The start of the book is not a chuckling matter though!

Marcus thinks he can have anything, he can own anything with money, including his girlfriend. He is abusive, he hits her, he abuses her. She wants out, she tried to leave before, but look what happened.

Marcus is the son of a Family empire worth multi millions. He is being groomed to take this business over.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend is determined to work on leaving him with the help of her friend.

Where she works, one day a past love she has never forgotten comes into the shop to collect something and with him is a little girl. A sweet little girl. As she raises her head to serve them she is astounded to connect eyes with her past love. She had loved him since the age of ten.

Is this his little girl?



My thoughts.

This is a lovely story and I enjoyed it immensely. For my part, I would have liked to have seen her boyfriend Marcus have more input at the beginning, but, I over looked this as it may well have been in previous books, so, I will have to go backwards with this series LOL

Her past love is AMAZING, I wouldn't mind a bit of him even at my age!! He was so protective, loving, encouraging, thoughtful, everything you need in a man and oh.......SEXY! and on top of all this, a FAMILY man.

A very well engrossing read and a full 4 stars.

I didn't think i could fall for a Keller more than i did for "Unbreakable", but Dean Kellar sure stole my heart.


Dean Kellar is happier than he could ever be. A great family, loving parents, and a new sibling that he adores with all his heart. Dean is just as cocky and ever bit of a ladies man as his father. He's sweet, sexy, caring, and believes after seeing everyone in his family finding love, that he will too find his girl. And when Megan, the girl who stole his heart all those years ago, returns, he feels like that might just happen.


Megan is stuck in a bad relationship, with a abusive man. She's desperate to leave, but he wont take no for a answer, and she's watched everywhere she goes. For the last few years, Megan has felt alone and sad. Dealing with a great big heartache. But things finally start to look better when she runs into Dean, "Her Dean".

After all these years apart Dean and Megan still share a special bond, and have fun exploring this more mature side to their friendship. They share some great banter and extremely steamy moments. They share their insecurities and fears, and what they want for their futures.

Dean and Megan are another great addition to this crazy, loving, funny, loyal family.

I loved seeing the whole family, and where they have been and what they have been up to. And that the bond they all share is stronger than ever.

Fights, lies, yelling, kissing, sex, laughs, tears, thrown punches, family & friends, there is never ever a dull moment in this group.

I will not let myself cry seeing this story end. I always hope that the author will bring us more. So now I'll just wait patiently and see, while enjoying new stories from Xavier Neal.

And i know i can always revisit this crazy group whenever i start to miss their stories.

I love this Series! Its a definite must Read!

This is Dean Kellars story. Yes Logans son. hahaha yeah he is just like him and if you haven't read logans story then I suggest you read because it will make you laugh even harder and see the true nature of why dean is the way he is. And the kellar love is as this. If your theirs, your theirs no question asked. When they claim you. Its over and be ready to have more love an passion in your life then you can imagine.

Dean just like his daddy gets all the girls and also like his dad has his heart belong to the one he never thinks he can get. She was moved out of his life when he was ten years old. She helped him much like his mother helped his father. This is the one girl he has never forgotten. And she. he walks into the a shop to get his Mimi's birthday cake he can't believe it. The girl that stole his heart when he was. Megan! She is as pretty as ever. But Megan has things going on that He doesn't know about. She has an abusive ex that won't take no for an answer.

Megan can't believe he walks back into her life. They hang out and she wants to be in his life but Marcus won't let her go. How can she get rid of him an be with the man she has wanted since was 10 years old?

Can she get away from Marcus ? Can you and Dean have their happen ending or will it be ripped apart.

What a truly Amazing book! I recommend for the mature audience.

My favorite so far in the Senses series. Dean Keller is really his father's son even tho they're not biologically related. You will weep tears of sorrow and tears of joy because both Dean and Meagan deserve some happiness.

This story does deal with domestic abuse, so if you are triggered by that, then this may not be the story for you. While you don't necessarily have to read the previous books in the Senses series, all of the players are featured in a heavily supporting role. and reading their background stories puts things into perspective, and they're just entertaining reads. I love that the underlying theme of the entire Senses series is that blood does not make you family, but the people who love and support you the most do. And little Faith...I can't with this precocious child lol...

Got to love the Senses Series!

Dean (the Kid) Kellar has been one of my favorite characters in this series. He was always the comic relief when things got stressful or emotional. He is the glue for this awesomely dysfunctional family. He is even more so on the fav list after reading his book! The storyline was amazing. The continuation to other character storylines is great! The interactive monologue was a little bit much at some points, but other than that this was a perfect addition! Another great book by Xavier Neal!

Deans such a sweetie

Love these guys, the whole messed up family thing it was good to get a glimpse of all the characters from the series.

Dean is so sweet and now acting all grown up, I couldn't swoon on him though maybe its because ive followed his coming of age I chuckled along like Max & Logan would.

It was a beautiful childhood to adult romance along with second chance love

Written in Xaveiers unique style like the other books and as always a bit of angst, drama,humour, great characters and a hea, I loved it :-)

Hmmm.. Let’s see..

Sexy body – check

Kind, Caring and Protective of those he loves – check

No I’m not talking about Logan Kellar, we’re talking about Dean (I know I know, Logan is all those things too). Dean is seriously a clone of Logan. At 19 he’s starting down the path that Logan was on before he finally got his head together and let Maxx in. Dean even has a nickname from the ladies, he’s known as Mr. O, I’m sure you can figure out why.

However, Dean has always had a piece of himself missing ever since he was 9 years old. When he walks into a bakery one day, that piece comes right back into his life. But there are some obstacles that he has to move out of the way before he can have the girl.

Megan remembers Dean, Her Dean, from when they were kids. How do you forget the first boy you ever fell in love with? But she hasn’t had the best life the last few years. She’s now stuck in a relationship that is destructive, and she hasn’t had the best family life either. However, when she sees Dean, she sees a man that could make her happy, but she doesn’t think she’ll ever get her happy.

These two are seriously like another Logan and Maxx, only with a little less up and downs. Well, you’ll have that if you’re parents are giving you advice, especially when they see somethings they did only a few short years earlier. But even with all the advice and help from the whole family, will Dean and Megan be able to get the happily ever after that the rest of the family has had?

You get to see more of everyone in the family (especially Maxx and Logan). However, things aren't so happy in Maxx and Logan land, they have some of their own issues to work out. But the one person that I did fall in love with was Maxx and Logan’s child. Seriously, this kid is the best of both parents! (You’ll just have to read the book to find out the sex of the baby)

As always, I am sucked into Xavier’s stories, and completely unable to put it down. I’m sad to see the series end. I’m hoping and praying that we’ll get some stories about Dean and Megan’s friends in the future. It’s really freaky how they all mirror the grown-ups. But enough of my rambling, you really do need to read this series in order, but once you start you won’t want to stop. Xavier is most definitely one of my top five authors out there!

Dean Kellar has a wonderful life, although it wasn't always so. Megan Davis is living a nightmare with a man who promised to take care of her, Marcus. He likes to knock her around when she tries to leave and he tells her she will never leave. One day her friend, Liv and her plan an escape months down the road. first she gets a job at a bakery and she has her employer hold half her money so she can stash it. He controls her bank account. Next Liv plans on her moving in with her. When she thinks she is ready she tells Marcus and he tells her no that when he gets back she better be here, but she leaves, anyway. Dean comes into the bakery with his three year old sister, Faith. Dean recognizes Megan right off , but she stares at him. She knows those blue eyes and then she realizes it the only friend and love she had as a child. They were always together. She tried to protect Dean from the beatings his dad gave him and he stayed at her home with her loving family. He finally got away from his dad and was adopted by the Kellars, Max and Logan. They are a loving family. Megan and Dean have changed positions. He has a loving family and she is being abused. Dean has always wanted her but can they make it back to recapture what they had as children? This book contains profanity and sex scenes so it may not be for everyone. This is a good story

My oh my how our little Kellar has grown. You don't get the nickname "Mr.O" for nothing!!!! Dean is just like our favorite man "Unbreakable". What can I say like father like son. Dean's story comes in with a BOOM!!!! That boy is something else. His love for his family is one of the best things about him. He never takes anything for granted, and being a big brother means the world to him. I love being able to see the family dynamic with everyone. When the gang gets together it can be crazy fun, but our Dean craves what everyone else has. The love from another person. The only one he has ever loves left when he was little... But, the universe likes to be sneaky and sometimes let fate happen.

Megan is an old childhood friend of Dean, that has lost a lot in her life. She has her own story to tell you. Running into Dean is the last thing she expected, and deans world gets turned upside down. Their story is going to be heart warming, gut wrenching, and about taking a leap of faith!!! This is probably one of my favorite Senses Novels, and as always Xavier has done it again. I love that woman!!!!!!

Dean Kellar also known as MR "O" by the ladies has always known a piece of him was missing and that piece is his childhood friend, Megan. Dean has had a cruel childhood with an abusive father and Megan was his best friend and he loved her even back then when as children she and her family helped protect him until at 9yrs old they moved.
Now nine years later he finds her again working in a cake shop.
Megan remembers Dean, but now her life has also changed and she's trying to escape from an abusive relationship.
This is the first book by this author i have read, and it will not be the last, i need to read them all now !!!!!
This story was so well written i almost felt a part of this amazing family and their lives.
There was tears, laughter, and moments of pure joy, especially with the little baby sister !!
Dean changed the moment Megan came back into his life, and was determined not to lose her ever again.
It's a poignant love story, but also a story about families, friends and life.
Definitely one of the best reads i've had this year !!!

Once again Xavier Neal has rocked my Senses world <3 This time Dean is all grown up. He's in school and following in Logan's footsteps with the ladies. If she smiles, he will soon find himself naked with her. He adores his little sibling, even kicking out a woman because Little Bit comes first. Sometimes, he past still haunts him, driving him to use sex as an escape. Megan gets the surprise of her life when Dean walks in to pick up a cake at the bakery she works at. The same day as she walks out of an abusive relationship, she meets the little boy she grew up with. Only Dean isn't so little, has escaped his abusive father and still remembers her!

Like all of Xavier's books, Mollify is full of twists, heartbreaks and making up. It was nice to see all of the Senses Family back in action, loving, laughing and fighting as if we were never apart. If you've read Xavier's other books, you are in for a treat.

I love all of Xavier's books! I started me quest with Logan and fell in love instantly with him! I followed the books one by one and even went into her other series! I have to say after the senses series reading about Logans son dean was great! You not only get to fall in love with kellars mini me but you also see real world problems in this book. It's always hard when you read a book that really has bad things that can happen to good people, the author really has to make you LOVE the characters in order to introduce controversial things into a book and Xavier has that talent to draw you on and make you see those terrible obstacles and demons can be overcome. I promise I will read every book this lady ever puts out because not only do I love her connection with her characters but the love that she has for her fans and life!

I dived into Xavier Neal's newest release yesterday, Mollify. 3 years have elapsed and Dean, Maxx and Logan's adopted son, is now 19 and is an exact replica of his adopted dad, both in and out of the bedroom. He'd heading down the same path as Logan, a new woman every day, sometimes several new women a day.....until one day he's sent to pick up a birthday cake. It's as simple as that - walk into a bakery and his life will never be the same.

I love second chance romances, even when the first chance began when the characters were 10. That's right - Dean and Megan were childhood sweethearts. When they're 10, Megan moves away with her parents. Neither Dean or Megan have an easy life in the years they are separated but now they're together again and Dean will never let anything hurt Megan again.

It's Dean's turn it's Dean's turn! *jumps around like a ninny*. Dean is just like his daddy, blunt, "do you still insist on only wearing pink panties?" He likes to go to the extremes like his daddy, "Dean’s lip abruptly pull away from me and he growls, “Never effing question if I want you again baby. Understand?" He's learning to handle his woman with care just like his daddy had too, "Dean groans and grips me tighter, “Is the a** wiggling an invitation or are you still trying to get comfortable?" Dean is a mini version of Logan and one thing these boys possess that I really love is when the fall they fall hard, when they love they love hard. Maybe, I'm hoping we'll get a spin off series with Dean and Megan's friends.

Dean, an abused boy, saved by the family everyone wants to be a part of. Adopted, loved by a group of people who believe blood doesn't make a family, acceptance, love, security and a fantastic belief that when someone says "I got u", they do for life.
With an Event Planner Mom and ex MMA father barely 10 years older than himself, Maxx and Logan give Dean the security, love, and wisdom his own beast of a father denied him.
Everyone has that one person who got away, but when fate brings Megan back, the one person who at age ten was his friend, temporary shelter from his abusive father, and his soulmate, Dean will rely on his unusual family to prove with him in her life she will be loved and protected by not only him, but the family that proves blood doesn't make u family. Love does.

Wow, this book tore me apart and put me back together. The emotions that i went through are that of a roller coaster. I laughed and cried and you get the picture. Dean won my heart from the beginning of the senses series but with his story he took big spot there. even thought Logan and Maxx are not his biological parents you would have to do a double take because they act as if they are. Now Megan, i thought she was a wonderful girl, she also won my heart. I'm really glad that Dean found her again. Their chemistry was just like an atomic bomb waiting to go off. Xavier with this book you went above and beyond on this and i love ya for it. it was magical...

Now, it’s Dean’s chance to finally tell his story, and what a story he has! I have been anticipating this book ever since Xavier Neal said Dean would be getting his own book. He stole my heart the very first time Logan saw him and felt the need to protect him. Mollify didn’t just meet my expectations, it blew them out of the water.

Dean is now a college student and has turned into a mini Logan. The Kid has grown into Mr. O, satisfying girls all over the place. As we soon find out, all that is about to change. You see, there has always been a piece of Dean’s heart that has been missing. He finds it when he sees the girl who has possession of that piece of his heart when he walks into a bakery and sees Megan. He has been in love with her since he was 9. When she left, she took a piece of him with her. They easily remember each other, and over the next few weeks, begin catching up. The two have amazing chemistry, so the scenes they have are explosive. But, Dean wants more…he vows never to let Megan go again. As Dean’s life has changed, so has Megan’s. Instead of hers getting better, it has gotten worse…a lot worse. In fact, her life is in danger. Can they overcome their pasts to have a happy future they both deserve, and more importantly, will Megan survive? You need to read this one now!!!!

I was so glad to be amongst the clan again, and this time I got to be Dean’s and Megan’s closest confidante. There is so much to love about these two. Yeah, they are a mini Logan and Maxx, but they are their own too. Logan and Maxx had painful pasts, but Dean and Megan have their own horrors they have lived through. They both are survivors, but together they may just be unbeatable. As an added surprise, we see some of the characters from the Havoc series, which was pure genius. I read a lot of books and have favorite writers, and Xavier is in the top. However, she is the best, hands down, in connecting her readers with her characters and thus the book…in her case, an entire series. It is evident in her writing that her stories aren’t a means to an end. It’s not just a profession for her; she writes from her heart. She loves her characters; therefore, her readers love her characters.

I sound like a broken record, but every book the Xavier writes just gets better. She continues to add unforgettable characters and does a phenomenal job of giving you little clues of who it might be in all of her books. As always, her theme is family and the importance of their love and support. Shared hearts, not shared blood is what makes a family. As Dean says, “Once upon a time, I wished I had a family like mine and now I do. Who knows? Our family changes and grows so often; who’s to say it won’t get a little bigger again soon?” Thank you, Xavier, for making me a part of such an awesome family. I can’t wait to meet the newest member soon!

I was given this book to read in turn for an honest review!!!

Dean finally has the family he has longed for; a family who loves and supports him no matter what. One chance encounter and Megan walks back into his life. Will the flame be reignited? Are they the final piece to each others puzzle?

Xavier Neal blew me away with Dean’s story; Dean has grown up to be one strong, intelligent and HOT young man!

The Sense’s family have given Dean all the love, support and guidance he needed to become the amazingly strong and independent young man he is in Mollify. In fact he puts a whole new spin on relationships; he took note of his family’s mistakes and goes a long way to not make those same mistakes. I loved Megan her soul was broken and my heart truly ached for her; she and Dean were the perfect match. Megan and Dean have one hell of a story to tell and you will not be disappointed! I really hope there will be more from the Sense’s family because I’m not ready to say goodbye to them yet. Please give me more Xavier Neal!!!

If you love romances with humour, an amazing family and a lot of HOT men you will absolutely love the Sense’s series from Xavier Neal! Mollify can be read as a standalone, however to fully enjoy the story I recommend reading the other books in the series first.

OMG! I swear each book in this series gets better and better....and hotter and hotter! Just when you think no one can do it like Logan, Dean grows up and takes the horndog title from his Dad! The girls just don't have a chance with Mr. O! They drop like flies with their legs spread. He is taking over being the local "girl pleaser". That is until he gets hit with the lovebug like his Dad did. I know Dean is kind of the last Kellar's, until Faith grows up and any other siblings they might have or acquire along the way, but this CANNOT be the end of this series! First off we need to know more about what happens with Dean and most importantly, you cannot end the series on an odd number, unless it's a trilogy! So I guess I will be waiting for book number 10! So Ms. Neal, we need you to get to your bat cave and pound some keys and write another chapter to this great series! Awesome job, I love this series and just really don't want it to end.

Loving Dean Kellar.

There is so many twist turns and surprises in this book that I don't want to give anything away. So I'll just say this..... I love this series so much. This family has each other's backs completely. Even though they aren't all blood related they love stronger than any family I know.
Dean has turned into quite a fine young man. There's no one more perfect for each other than Dean and Megan.
Megan, the first and only girl Dean ever loved as a kid is back in his life and he doesn't plan on letting her go again.
If you have read the other books in the Senses series, I highly recommend it. Being such a tight knit family, the characters are always popping up in every book.

OH wow anther amazing book from the amazing talented Xavier Neal!

Dean oh wow has he grown up! he acts just like his dad logan in more ways than one. deans old friend megan came back into deans life. the have loved each other from when they were kids and now they have a chance to see if there still love there or was it just a childhood love? megans trying to get out of a abusive relationship and well dean he sticks in anything that's hot and has a heart beat an willing, but when megan comes back in his life can he change to be a one woman man like his dad? or will megans relationship be too much to escape an shes stuck? ive cried laugh and been in awe over this book! it is best to read in order blind being the first book of the senses series.

This is the first book in the Senses Series that I have read and I have to admit that I am hooked. I have added the rest of the books to my wish list to read as well. There was so much to like about Dean and Megan's story. They had known each other since they were children and were the best of friends inseparable until Megan's family moved. They both suffered with loss and abuse while apart from each other. Then by chance they are reunited and their love grows. I really loved the family and friends that surrounded them and wanted to know more. Hence needing to read the rest of the series. I adored Megan's best friend Liv and really hope that her story will be written.

I give Mollify 4 hearts!

dean's book blew me away!
I love this family like their my own.
always there to support each other, continually growing and so full of love. this series right here is what series are all about!!

I laughed and cried and cried some more! Through the series you watch Dean "Kid" grow and become a valued member of the family. In Molllify he comes into his own in a HUGE way.

As a fan of Xavier Neal and the Senses series, I was expecting this to be another great story that I would enjoy. What I didn't expect was to be drawn in so completely that cannot help but feel every word as if it feeling the reality yourself.

In short, excellent writing and execution of storylines, 100% believability in character growth and interaction. Wonderful reader experience all around. I will recommend this book as well as add to my re-read list.

Xavier delivers yet another winner in the Senses series! Dean is so much like Logan when Logan was younger before he got with Maxx that its scary. But unlike Logan Dean knows what he wants and he wants only one girl who has had his heart since he was a kid.
He is such a good brother to his sibling (not going to spoil it you will have to read to find out what Maxx and Logan had).
Megan is such a sweetheart. And the things she goes thru you know Dean and his family will go to great lengths to protect her.
Funny at times and emotional at times this book had me engaged thru out and I couldnt put it down.

Oh Dean, how I love you! *fanning self* Mr. O lives up to his name in this book! I must say, I loved Dean since he came into the Keller/Hart family and I love him even more after reading this book. Dean and Megan's story is defiantly a tear jerking. But I loved every minute of it. If you haven't read the Senses Series you need to! Every book is amazing! (And if you have read the Havoc Series by Xavier, you will love the little cameos) I highly recommend this book! You won't be disappointed!
