Let me introduce you to Mr. Dimitri DuPont. Confident. Cocky. Bilingual. Seductive. Mysterious. And supposedly not the man for Ms. Trinity Parker, a summer hire at the high end boutique Voleur on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
Trinity has been brought into Voleur to look into the company books and see why the store is not as profitable as it has been in the past. She is efficient, professional and determined in her role at the company. Trinity is not looking to make friends there but rather get the job done and go back to school in the fall. Until she meets Dimitri DuPont.
It’s not even “like” at first sight from Trinity’s perspective but Dimitri has his eyes set on Trinity. There is a very sensual scene when Dimitri finally has lunch with Trinity in a private room in an upscale restaurant that definitely will make your girl parts tingle. Dimitri is a very intriguing man with many secrets that he’s not quite ready to divulge. But he is one sexy man!
The sex between Dimitri and Trinity is delicious! Dimitri can be dominant yet playful and caring. Trinity is almost like a frightened kitten in the beginning but then her “inner goddess” (sorry, couldn’t help it!) certainly finds its way out.
Get ready for a wild ride at the end with some secrets revealed, still wondering about those, and a twist that I didn’t see coming. Bring on the next book!

More Than Just Pumps is an absolute must read. This book has everything you could want from suspense,romance and mystery. Trinity Parker is a girl who knows her way around numbers. Trinity is hired as a Money Doctor to fix a company that is loosing a considerable amount of money. At the beginning of her search, she meets the mysterious Dimitri DuPont. Dimitri in himself is a complete mystery and for him Trinity Parker is an anomaly in his life he didn't expect. The chemistry between Dimitri DuPont and Trinity Parker is undeniable and hot. Alexandra is an absolute wonderful author and once again has outdone herself.

Since Trinity's first day at work she became Dimitri's prey! Although being a professional at work she finds it difficult to be fully attentive when their desire for one another becomes too intense. With Dimitri's charm, persistence & hunger for Miss Parker, she finally gives in and ends up in such heated passion & unexpected turmoil. Without giving into too much of this steaming hot romance... there is a sudden twist to this story that keeps you in suspense and hanging for more! It's an easy HOT read & highly recommend it with a bubble bath & a glass of Cristal! ;) Giving this awesome contemporary romance what it deserves... ALL 5 stars. Alexandra, you never cease to amaze me! :)

Trinity Parker finds herself with a massive job, her job as Money Doctor at high classed store has a price. After thinking she saw someone thieving in Voleur, the store, she races after and shoves her hand in his pocket. Humiliated after finding a load of condoms, she rushes back in store. What she doesn't realise is that the guy she rushes after is a valued customer...who now has his eyes firmly stuck on her. After pursuing Trinity for all its worth, she finally resents, stubbornly. She doesn't know him, he doesn't reveal a lot. When she finally cracks where the stores money has gone to, she uncovers the truths and lies, alongside deceit and heartache. What will happen after everything hits the fan?
It took me a while to get into the story because it goes from one scene to another which confused me a bit. Eventually I got so into it I had a hard time putting my darn kindle down. I'm used to alexandra I writing just erotica, but this is completely different from her usual...and I really enjoyed it. The characters are strong yet stubborn, and that's a plus in my books, where both main characters are as strong as the other. I didn't like that this ended on a horrid cliffhanger. With no idea when the next book is to be release its made me go grrrrrr at my kindle.
I do recommend this books.

I LOVE this new book of Alexandra's More Than Just A Pair Of Pumps. Trinity and Dimitri met in unusual way. Their attraction for each other is undeniable. This story is beautiful, emotional and thrilling.
Trinity works in a company that needs to rescue from being down. She also encounter workers that are sneaky and secrets to keep her job unsuccessful. Dimitri is very private and women are flirting with him wherever he goes. Their relationship is not smooth as some people are against them. I found this book of Alexandra not as steamy as her other books but so emotional.
I never expect the twist of this book. You just have to catch your breath. By the way, I received the ARC of this book but my review is honestly 100% mine. I recommend this book to everybody who loves to read passion, love story and suspense.

I found this book really interesting. I loved the author writing style.
The blurb clearly tells about the story,so i found it easy to read.
The title of the book is apt,which suites according to the story.
The main characters of the book are Trinity and Dimitri.
Trinity is a smart, strong beautiful young woman, She is efficient, professional and determined in her role at the company.
Dimitri is hot, wealthy,cocky and somewhat mysterious. trinity lands a job at a high end store.

On her first day she meets and has and an embarrassing encounter with the hot, sexy and mysterious Dimitri DuPont.Trinity founds that Dimitri keeps staring her ,looking her & finds the hunger in his eyes,as though he saw her naked .
& from there the connection between both of them begin, they had sex ,& the scenes are quite sensual & erotic.
I recommend this book to everyone.

Talk about an awkward meeting!
This book is a great it has so much mystery, suspense, some funny moments, lies, deceit, and delicious hot sexy times. This story features Trinity and Dimitri. Trinity is a smart, strong beautiful young woman, Dimitri is hot, wealthy, and somewhat mysterious. trinity lands a job at a high end store. She needs to fix the things going wrong with the store, and why it's losing it's money. The workers are definitely no help, and they seem to be some very shady characters. Then Trinity meets Dimitri, I won't say how, it's better reading it for yourself. This is definitely not a love at first sight story, but Dimitri is intrigued by Trinity and goes after her, relentlessly. Finally Trinity gives in, the scenes between them are super steamy. Will Trinity be able to uncover the mystery about where all if this money is disappearing to? Will she find out the mysteries behind Dimitri? This is another great read from Alexandra I but it does end in a cliffhanger! Ahhhh! I need to know! I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Trinity Parker has been hired to audit Voleur, an upscale Fifth Avenue boutique frequented by the rich when she meets Dmitri Dupont - an unusual meeting especially when she suspects him of theft. Mortified she attempts to extricate herself from the situation, not wanting to have anything to do with Mr Dupont despite her strong attraction. Dmitri refuses to let the incident pass wanting it to be more than just an accidental encounter. But Dmitri has a secret that can blow everything out of the water if he is not careful – one which may cost Trinity her life.
Ever since I read Alexandra I’s The Collar Duet and her Flash Burn series I have always looked forward to her books. There is enough horizontal gymnastics that entice anyone reading to follow in her characters shoes to reach nirvana and a very good story that makes the reader turn the page and never stop.
Even after the last page has been read.
And beg for more.

Although this is a cliffhanger, the story is wrapped up nicely with the right amount of foreshadowing. Alexandra has set the stage for this series – one which I shall await with bated breath and an impatient I-can’t-wait-to-hit-the-one-click-button!

This is my first book to read by Alexandra Iff. For me this book had me confused at some points and scratching my head at other parts. While the storyline is full of potiential, to me this one fell flat unlike the beautiful Pair of Pumps.
Trinity Parker is a young 24 yr old who has been hired to check out the 'books' of a successful store in NYC. Taking on this job would ensure that she would be able to return to school and finally obtain her degree. Although when she walked in on the first day, she convinces herself she witnesses a customer stealing a watch.
Dimitri DuPont is a complete mystery man. Never revealing too much about his 'investment' company, never revealing much more than his instant attraction to Trinity after she put her hand in his pocket looking for the 'stolen watch'.
This book had many twist and turns but I didn't really get the full effect of them. They were short lived and not enough to justify a reaction. Would love to see this book reworked and re-released because it is one story-line that I can honestly say, I've not read before. Great concept, just not executed as well as it could have been.

I was entranced with this book, because I was so confused. Usually being confused is not a good thing, but in this case it is. This book is not a book that you know how it is going to end. I had to keep reading it, so I could find out what was really happening. Trinity is a college student that has been hired to crunch the numbers of a store to see why they are not making the profit that they should be. Demitri is a sexy rich VIP customer of the store, or is he? Things definitely heat up between Trinity and Dimitri as their sexual chemistry goes through the roof. Other than that, there are lots of questions. Where is the money going? Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys? I received this book for free in return for an honest review. This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I am now looking forward to reading more.

I loved this story. It had angst, romance, humour, friendship and a really hot, alpha male.
Trinity Parker is a young woman who takes a job as at high end store called Voleur, in 5th avenue. Her job is to go through their books and help them figure out why they aren’t making as much money as they used to.
On her first day, she meets a mysterious man who, despite her denial, she’s drawn to but she doesn’t understand why.
Dimitri Dupont is one of the stores most valued customers and her first meeting with him doesn’t go well and leaves Trinity feeling embarrassed. Just as she doesn’t think her day can get any worse, it does and she’s thrust into another situation with Dimitri.
Reluctantly, and with a bit of a pep talk from her bff, she agrees to go on a lunch date with him. I personally don’t like seafood but now I’ve experience eating oysters the “Dupont way”, I think I could be persuaded to at least try them. He even has a gift for her, from Tiffany’s” Trinity however, isn’t impressed.
Trinity has some sexual experience but it’s been 6 years since she was with a man so, she’s convinced herself she doesn’t need sex or a man in her life. If ever there was a man to change her mind, it’s Dimitri.
The sparks that fly between these 2 could melt icebergs and Trinity goes from quiet, shy and frigid to a wanton sex goddess, she can’t get enough of what Dimitri has to offer.
Trinity has had issues of abandonment in her past and these resurface when Dimitri disappears from her life and is seen with another woman. Has someone else really left her?
Things aren’t what they seem though and the lives of everyone working at Voleur are turned upside down when a crime is uncovered, resulting in a death.
There is a huge cliff-hanger at the end and I can’t wait to find out what happens with these 2 characters in the next book.

Trinity Parker was hired to find out why Velour is not showing the profit that’s expected, despite the business volume. On her first day, she thinks she’s on to something. She’s pretty sure she’s going to apprehend a shoplifter, but to her surprise, the only thing in his pocket is a handful of condoms. She’s embarrassed and turned off by her assumption of this man.

i was given a copy of this book for my honest review what can i say i loved more than just a pair of pumps from the start when Trinity stuck her hand in a certain hottey mchot guys pocket and come up with a hand foll of condoms :p there was funny steamy sad and heartbreaking moments the chemistry between Trinity and Dimitri was off the charts hot they were hocked on each other i felt like i was on a mystery with trinity to see who was doing alittle something illegal i was semi surprised to find out who was doing that something ;) cant wait to read more from Alexandra Iff

I’ve always enjoyed Alexandra Iff’s novels – she has that ability to take something we all have and make it bigger and oh so seductive. We all own shoes; we need them for just about everything we do, but when it comes to heels, we women have a tendency to do our research before buying the perfect one that will enhance just about all our greatest assets. So it’s no wonder that when Alexandra Iff creates the store Voleur, she adds her special flare, making it irresistible to the point where you wished it actually existed (or did it?). With Dimitry and Trinity, she made the story come alive.
4 breath taking dreams
The chemistry between this pair is through the roof and they absolutely every facet of their sexuality - from the kinky kitten to the goddess and from the dominant to the easy going man. They may have their own issues, but when they’re together, they’re quite something. I absolutely enjoyed reading More Than A Pair Of Pumps and now I remember why I need to buy so many more.

We all own shoes; we need them for just about everything we do, but when it comes to heels, we women have a tendency to do our research before buying the perfect one that will enhance just about all our greatest assets. So it’s no wonder that when Alexandra Iff creates the store Voleur, she adds her special flare, making it irresistible to the point where you wished it actually existed (or did it?). With Dimitry and Trinity, she made the story come alive.

The chemistry between this pair is through the roof and they absolutely every facet of their sexuality - from the kinky kitten to the goddess and from the dominant to the easy going man. They may have their own issues, but when they’re together, they’re quite something. I absolutely enjoyed reading More Than A Pair Of Pumps and now I remember why I need to buy so many more.

More Than Just a Pair of Pumps was a hot 5 star read.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It had a different storyline than what I'm used to reading.
The moment I go through that door frame feels like an eternity in itself. He is so near; I sense his breath on my neck; my first notion is of something hard digging into my lower back.
Trinity has a three month contract with a New York store to find some missing funds.
She ends up meeting Dimitri DuPont, one of the store VIP’s in a very embarrassing and priceless way. I would have died on the spot. As she moves forward in her research she keeps getting attitude from Hilda the store manager. There are times when Hilda tries to get Trinity in trouble. Something strange is going on, will Trinity be able to figure it out?
Dimitri relentlessly pursues Trinity, adamant to get her on a date and in his bed. I have to say I was very happy when Trinity finally gave into Dimitri, the sex was off the charts hot.
Dimitri has some secrets of his own, will Trinity figure out what they are? Can they have a relationship or is he playing her?
“Hate me as much as you want. Just don’t judge her for loving me.”
I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I loved the humor and hot sex. The attraction between Trinity and Dimitri was off the charts hot. Although we only got a few glimpses of Jason and Kelly I really liked their involvement in the story. The book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger however there is room for more. I feel in a way that Dimitri and Trinity were just getting started. Thank you Alexandra Iff for a great read.

A really great steamy romance!I loved the chemistry between Trinity and Dmitri!
Trinity has just been hired by Voleur to look at the accounts and find out why the profits have been low, despite the sales being high.On her first day she comes across two men perusing the accessories section and ring on watches, and after an incident , she ends up mistakenly accusing them of stealing watches. And this is how she meets Dmitri DuPont.
Dmitri usually gets whatever he wants, but he is intrigued by Trinity, who doesn't want to give him the time of the day.And he isn't one to give up easily.
Trinity doesn't believe in relationships and doesn't want to be in one.But, the attraction between them is hard to resist, especially with Dmitri determined to pursue her.There is also something fishy happening in Voleur at the meantime, and it seems like Dmitri and his friend might be involved?
What will Trinity end up deciding?
Trinity was a different heroine.Confident and intelligent at times, but also vulnerable and soft at others.She has never felt an attraction before like this one.I loved how Dmitri brought her out of her shell and encouraged her.Her past and childhood have greatly affected her way of thinking and life.But she doesn't let that stop her.She is determined to rise up above her circumstances.Dmitri has his own secrets.I loved how he was dominant,caring and intelligent too.
There is quite the mystery in this book and it had me guessing.
By the end, things moved so quickly that it was a rapid change in pace and had me confused for a while!There is still a lot to be discovered and I'm guessing we'll have another book!I have my suspicions and I believe that the title has a lot of to do with the events and certain things that happen in the story.

When Trinity was 16 and nearly rapped she had enough and called child services, she was separated from her sister but she wanted her to have a happy upbringing not the one they were living.
Trinity puts herself through school and studied accounting at night to pay so she could get a descent job to pay for her college degree.
When Trinity took on a job offer at a prestige store little did she realize she was going to get more then just a job for 3 months.
Dimitri is sexy as sin but is a man of many secrets.
He falls hard for Trinity and has to have her.
Will Dimitri's secrets be the end of there little fling?
Can Trinity forgive and forget?
Once again Alexandra delivered a good book well written but some parts we found a bit confusing which we think it was just the speed of the book.
It was very fast paced and everything seem to happen very quickly. But at the end it was still a good book.

I won an ARC at the author's pre-release party for my honest opinion. I LOVED it. First, I love the cover and the title. It gave me something to think about while I read it--where does the title tie in? The first person character is 24 year old Trinity (great name) Parker who has come to NYC for a summer job reviewing the books of an exclusive retail store that has been losing money (or at least not showing a profit as expected). On her first day, she suspects two men who have been looking at Rolex watches unattended, to have pocketed one. This starts her association with Mr. Dimitri DuPont, a VIP customer of the store. I love how the story is told through dialog and Trinity's thoughts. I love how the author slowly reveals the characters' past in the telling of the story. I was in there right along with Trinity, feeling her feelings, the highs and lows of falling in love or at least infatuation. There are just enough unanswered questions by the end of the book, that the exciting cliffhanger makes sense. Can't wait for book 2.

from the start. Wrongly accusing him of stealing and embarrassing herself by
doing so, Trinity has just come to find out that Dimitri is a very valuable
customer and one that won't let her get away. When she discovers where the
money is and those involved, what will she do
I found this book hard to get into, it was all over the place to start with
and then I struggled. I didn't like How Trinity was so easily forgiving, Ah
where is the strong passionate independent woman who doesn't cave? Could
have had a lot of potential, but unfortunately I wasn't feeling it.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a little slow in the beginning but picked up quickly. Dimitri and Trinity are both strong characters with equally strong personalities. I loved that! That is a quality really hard to find. Drama, suspense and humor made this book even better (especially the humor and Trinity's comments). I love Alexandra's erotica but branching out with this book makes me love her even more. I totally fell in love with Dimitri DuPont mysterious man that he is. This is a must read! I recommend this to everyone! I received this book in exchange for an honest review but when I was finished I just bought it because I loved it so much. I honestly hope there is a book two so we can find out what happens!

the story line about two individuals who had a pretty rough childhood.
Trinity was hired by Voleur to find out why the company is not profiting. Dimitri is a confident and somewhat arrogant of a playboy who Trinity tries to fight her attraction towards him. They met in Voleur as she accused him of theft and was so embarrassed when she checks for the supposed stolen item in his pocket. Long packets of condoms came out of his pocket and she didn't realized that Dimitri is a VIP client of the store.
This is a must read book full of hot sex and suspense.

I received this book for an honest review yesterday. I finished this book in a matters of hours as I devoured this story, I love have trinity is the "Nerdy girl"... the dynamic between trinity and DImitri was spectacular and I was up until 2 am reading this... I am slightly disappointed that it was a cliffhanger but I will be waiting in suspense to find out if Dimitri can find and claim Trinty as he should have...

Love it, Love it, Love it!
Just the right amount of humor added to the adventure and mystery make this a five star read!
The main characters Tiffany and yummy Dimitri, steam up the pages of this romance. This book is a bit different from other books I have read by the author. There is a more vanilla relationship but no less chemistry.
I enjoyed the mystery aspect of the book that kept me intrigued throughout the story. The flow is excellent and I found it easy to read and enjoy.

Alexandra does it again. What a great love story with lots of twist and turns. Trinity meets a hot mysterious Dimitri. Thought out the whole story you wonder what does Dimitri do for a living at one time I thought I had it figured out but with the twists and turns boy was I wrong. This is a must read and can't wait for the next in this series!!!!

Twists and turns throughout! The excitement starts the moment Trinity starts working at Voluer to audit their books. Something funky is going on with their books and money and she's been hired to find out what. The mystery that surrounds everything Voleur is amazing and the ride to it's conclusion is wild! So recommend this wild and wonderful story.

I love this story, Trinity and Dimitri have an amazing chemistry. I was hooked on the first chapter. There are so many twist and turns for them. Will they survive. I refuse to tell but there is a cliff hanger, One click today.

I was gifted a copy of More Than Just a Pair of Pumps by Alexandra Iff for an honest review and I have to say " Thank You" to the author or PA that brought this to my attention. As soon as I read the first page around 9 p.m , I found myself not wanting to put it down it was around 3 a.m. and 75% of the story that I was taken in by sleep. I picked up right were I left off in the morning and I am a very happy reader.
In this story we have strong, stubborn, frustrating and beautiful Trinity Parker who is asked to look over the finances at a New York fashion store, she finds that the numbers don't add up and the people that she is surrounded by seem sketchy with the business aspects. From the first day on the job Trinity never expected that the VIP customer Dimitri DuPont, who she accused of stealing would be a mental, physical, and sexual distraction to her job. Will she be able to look beyond all her feelings and gorgeousness that this man has added to her life so that she may do the job she is contracted to do?
Dimitri DuPont, he is a well known gentlemen among the ladies and businesses. He doesn't let a little embarrassing robbery accusation keep him from the one woman he wants. Trinity the new hire may have accused Dimitri of stealing but he never expected her to steal his heart and mind. I have to say that this character is sexy as hell and one that will be hard to forget. DuPont's cockiness, arrogance and sexiness may make it hard to see and think straight so when his lies seem to sneak up, it may just be to much for Trinity to handle.

This book had me laughing at some points. There were moments when I was so embarrassed for the heroine-Trinity-that I literally cringed and thought, please tell me no one does this in real life. She started out in my opinion as a pompous judgmental character. There were so many of her actions that had me sitting here with my eyebrows furrowed and a hand on my head scratching it thinking...are people really this dumb? Dimitri was hot at times and some of his actions were definitely hot, but I didn't think all the sex scenes met up with my expectations on the character that he was portraying.
I did like this book but was still left with unanswered questions that I won't put in here as I would need a spoiler alert added.

I read this book and really and truly enjoyed reading. I loved the humor, the snarky remarks by Trinity to Dimitri. I loved how their love grew. I also love how Alexandra has grown in her writing.
I am not saying that her other books were not enjoyable but this book I feel that her writing has grown. I don't want to tell this story I think you should read it. It was so good. I loved it and I think you will too!!!!
