The Apex Breed: Homecoming

Rate this book
They finally found home.

After weeks of fighting their way across a shattered America, Walker and Maggie make it back to Cedar Creek Hunting Camp and reunite with family they feared was gone forever.

For the first time since the collapse, they have a place worth defending.

Then they learn Sarah is still alive.

A trail of radio traffic, survivor reports, and old records points west to Arizona—nearly two thousand miles away through territory controlled by the Apex Breed.

Finding her won't be easy.

Before they can launch the rescue mission, Cedar Creek must be fortified, alliances must be built, and supplies gathered for a journey that may be the most dangerous yet.

Because the Apex are changing.

Across the country, survivors are reporting behavior that shouldn't be possible. New hunting tactics. Greater coordination. Signs that the creatures are becoming something far more dangerous than anyone imagined.

As Walker and Maggie race to prepare for the trip west, the clock is ticking for Sarah—and for everyone still fighting to survive.

Homecoming is the action-packed second book in The Apex Breed series, packed with survival, fortified compounds, family, relentless action, and a terrifying enemy that is learning with every encounter.

Awesome Continuation

Awesome continuation of the story. New characters added. Continued action, planning, humor and drama. A few questions were answered but still leaves room for more of the story. Not sure if the end game is strictly survival or is there a final solution to the Apex. Look forward to book 3.
