Less than 20 pages, yet it never feels rushed. Leigh Kenny manages to squeeze a complete, entertaining story into such a tiny space, which is no easy feat.
If you’ve ever shared a house with a teenager, you’ll probably find yourself relating to this one!
A wonderfully written little gem that leaves you wanting just one more chapter. Highly recommended… and whatever you do, always tidy your room!

Emma finally gets her teenage son, Tommy to clean his bedroom. All that he has left to do before heading out to meet his mates, is clean under the bed.
Oh dear god, first you drop a surprise release, then you make me resort to leaping on top of my bed like an infant! And that ending 😱

Leigh Kenny constantly amazes me with her writing, even when it’s short stories. I loved it and I wished there were more, as always.

I know this is just a short story, but it was pretty solid. It'll be part of a new collection by Leigh, so maybe there'll be better stories included.
