"Love on Rockwell Island" is a new contemporary romance series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors Bella Andre and Melissa Foster!

Fall in love on Rockwell Island... Sink your toes into the sandy beaches at the heart of Cape Cod Bay, where family comes first, good friends are around every corner, and true love is waiting beneath the stars.

CAPE COD KISSES, Book One

When Quinn Rockwell left Rockwell Island a decade ago to build a shipping empire, he never thought he'd return to live on Cape Cod Bay--that is, until his grandfather summons Quinn and his four siblings to take over the prestigious Rockwell Resort. Quinn is already working fifteen-hour days, and the last thing he has time for is his grandfather's demands. But on his first night back, when Quinn finds a gorgeous and carefree woman skinny-dipping in his favorite cove, he's tempted to ignore his work for a while...and focus on her instead.

As a free spirit who follows her heart and her dreams, Shelley Walters is not the kind of girl to wait around for Mr. Right, so she heads to Rockwell Island for the honeymoon of her dreams--a solo honeymoon. Ready for a week of sun and fun, she never expected to meet a man like Quinn Rockwell.

Wealthy and intensely driven, Quinn is everything Shelley swore she didn't want. Refreshingly spontaneous and a true romantic, Shelley is everything Quinn never knew he needed. Drawn together despite their differences, during a week of sizzling-hot passion and deep conversations, they fall head over heels for each other. But when their perfect week on the island is over, will their love survive in the real world?

My friend Kim from Caffeinated Book Reviewer is always raving about how wonderful Bella Andre's writing is. I thought it was the right time to plunge into this author's writing, along with Melissa Foster, with this series starter. Cape Cod Kisses was a sweet and romantic book with a lovely setting that had me aching to be somewhere on an island.

Shelley was a character I really liked in Cape Cod Kisses. She was sweet and I loved how spontaneous she was. I also loved how she was the kind of woman who went after what her guts told her, not really worrying about the things that could possibly go wrong. Reading about a character who just oozed optimism was a breath of fresh air for me and it made me happy because her positivity spread to me as well. In reality, I shouldn't have connected with Shelley's character so easily because she was the complete opposite of me, but her down-to-earth nature and her more adventurous side, brought smiles to my face. Quinn, her love interest, was also very loveable. He was hardworking and a bit of a workaholic, but Quinn was a sweetheart and falling for him was pretty easy for me. Quinn and Shelley might not at first seem like they had very similar personalities, theirs was a romance that worked really well. It had a lot to do with just how respectful they were of each other and how much they cared for each other. They communicated and if there were things that they weren't happy about, they would discuss it and not hide from their significant other. Also, can I completely appreciated the lack of drama between Quinn and Shelley. Unnecessary drama is something that I have come to expect out of romance novels, but I was so glad that these authors didn't fall into that trap and basically showed us what a true healthy relationship is like. All in all, the romance in Cape Cod Kisses left me in a light and happy mood.

Cape Cod Kisses' setting was also magical. I felt myself being transported onto the island, and let me just say, I was envious of Shelley and Quinn. Bella Andre and Melissa Foster did a phenomenal job at bringing the resort to life. I could almost feel like I was in a sundress somewhere with soft sand and bright blue oceans with the sun shining on my face. Quinn's family, the Rockwells, were another highlight of the book for me. Big families are a favorite of mine and the Rockwells were one big and loving one. I loved how close they were to each other. The bond between the siblings was especially lovely to read about. I could tell while reading just how much love they had for each other and how supportive they were of each other. I'm excited that we will get to see their love stories too.

Cape Cod Kisses was a lovely romance book, heavy on family values and respect. It's the perfect sort of book to relax with on a warm sunny day at the beach. I'm truly looking forward to reading the other books in this series.

Most women fantasize about their honeymoon. But what happens if you’re not engaged? Do you wait around for Mr. Right to come along? Not if you’re Shelley Walters. After watching what seemed like half the single ladies in Maryland get married and talk about their amazing honeymoons, Shelley decides to embark on what she calls a “solo honeymoon”. Never one to follow the crowd, she decides to throw caution to the wind and book a 7 day, 6 night stay in the honeymoon cottage at the Rockwell Resort.

But her solo honeymoon is anything but solo when hot, sexy and super-wealthy Quinn Rockwell spies Shelley skinny dipping her first night on the island. With her cousin’s voice in her head telling her to have an island fling, Shelley initiates a kiss with Quinn. Knowing that she’s been drinking, and not wanting to look like he’s taking advantage of the situation, Quinn tucks Shelley into bed and heads out.

As their paths continue to cross, their feelings for each other grow. But the reality is, Shelley is only on the island for 7 days and Quinn can’t wait to get back to his life and job back home. But the more time they spend together, the more they both can see a life together. Considering opening up a coffee shop on the island, Shelley toys with the idea of making Rockwell Island her home. But can Quinn, who’s always been married to his job, learn to divide his time? Or will he end up like his grandfather … cranky and alone?

I have been a huge fan of Melissa Foster’s for some time now and have recently read some of Bella Andre’s books. Their writing styles are so similar that I knew it wouldn’t take long for Bella to be added to my favorite authors list. When I found out that they were pairing up to write a series, I knew it would be a match made in book writing heaven! Let me tell you, this book was even better than I anticipated. With a cast of hot characters, a story that will have you falling in love and a location that will have you booking a solo honeymoon, Cape Cod Kisses is the best book to kick off the warm weather months!

This was such a light, sweet and romantic story! Just a wee bit insta-love but if you don't mind that sort of thing then I would definitely recommend it. Great choice for a beach read when you're in the mood for something that has a feel good ending.
Quinn and Shelley were such a good fit for each other. Quinn is a workaholic and Shelley is a free spirit. Together they each help the other find balance and of course... love! Their attraction for each other is not just physical, they just simply enjoy each others company and I love how they spent their time together doing simple things. It was a great way for them to connect.
Shelley came to the island for a solo Honeymoon experience. A little strange yes, but I thought it was an interesting spur of the moment thing for her to do. And, as it turns out, going solo was a great idea because it led her to Quinn.
Quinn was summoned back to the island that he grew up on because his scheming grandfather has plans for them to take over the family business of running the island.
Despite his resistance, he finds that being back on the island and meeting Shelley was a sort of wake up call that his workaholic tendencies may be keeping him from finding true happiness.
I love how this book revolves around the importance of family and that sometimes the simple things in life can bring you more happiness than a loaded bank account. Things like taking walks on the beach, playing in the sand, splashing around in the ocean... who wouldn't want to spend every day doing that?? Cape Cod was peaceful and relaxing, a perfect setting for a blooming romance.
This is the first of the series and it set the stage nicely for future installments.

If you’re looking for your next summer vacation read, look no further. CAPE COD KISSES has everything you could ever want in the perfect beach read.

Melissa Foster is not an author I’ve had the pleasure of reading yet so I was thrilled to hear that she was writing something with Bella Andre, who happens to be one of my favorite authors. While I can pick out Andre’s touches here and there throughout the novel, there were enough differences from Andre’s own books that I found in this one that I really enjoyed and I think I can attribute those touches to Foster.

Family is something that Andre’s stresses a lot in her books so it’s really no surprise that the Rockwell family are a tight group. However, that isn’t to say that everything is perfectly fine between them. When their grandfather drops a bomb on them, the Rockwells will have to gather and decide on their next plan of action because now everything lies in her hands. I personally love this touch to the story because it just adds another layer to the romance although I will admit that there are some times when I think it draws away from the romance at times.

Speaking of the romance, Shelley Walters doesn’t actually have any in her life which is the reason she is at the island. In fact, she’s there on her solo honeymoon and when she stumbles upon Quinn Rockwell while a little tipsy, Quinn is unable to lend a helping hand to make sure she gets home safely after her little skinny dipping session.

Quinn and Shelley are absolutely adorable together. I loved reading about them. There are so many sweet moments between them but that is also interspersed with various experiences that focus more on the island and the people who live there. You can tell that Foster and Andre are looking to make this series a long one. So far, five books are already scheduled to be released and I can already see the possibilities with a lot of the characters. Fans of Toni Blake’s Coral Cove series will definitely get a kick out of this one!

“All I’m saying is that if you allow yourself to be seeded with doubt, it weighs you down. Shoulda, coulda, woulda does no good. The only thing that ever works is to believe in yourself. And if that feels too difficult sometimes, then you can believe in me, because I have total faith in you. I have never lived my life afraid of what-ifs, and I’m not going to start now.”

I knew I had to read this book when I learned that Melissa Foster would be a co-author. I have been a fan of her work ever since I was introduced to the Braden series. I have heard great things about Bella Andre but never had the privilege to read her work before now. I enjoyed the collaboration and as a result, I will be adding a new author to my must read list.

Cape Cod Kisses is the first book in the Love on Rockwell Island series. In this installment we get a taste of the Rockwell family and the island on which they reside. This is a great start to what I believe is going to be a great series.

Shelly Walters (an only child and only heir to the Walter’s Enterprise Diamond Dynasty) took a real bold move by proceeding on a solo honeymoon on Rockwell island. Now some may think that this was a crazy idea, but Shelley was the type of woman who rarely did anything by the book. She was the queen of spontaneity. This was a woman who lived for risks. She was independent and did not believe that she needed a man to define her. She decided on this venture as she was tired of her failed relationships. She believed that at that rate she would never experience marriage much less have a honeymoon. Quinn Rockwell is a workaholic the type of man that Shelley avoids at all costs. He is part owner of Rockwell Barclay Enterprises. He was forced to return to the island as a result of an ultimatum laid down by his grandfather. Its on his return visit that he met Shelley.

They connected instantly. I thought they were just perfect for each other. They helped each other to move past their issues. Shelley brought out a side of Quinn that he had kept hidden for some time. She helped him to remember that there was more to life than work. Even though she was not afraid to take risks her biggest fear was that of rejection. All her life she felt rejected by the people who meant the world to her as a result, she did everything to disassociate with her family name. Quinn helped her to see that she was special and that she should be proud of all that she had achieved. He is the type of guy that I could see myself falling for. The fact that he was rich would be an added bonus. Quinn was charming, considerate and caring.

I found the combined writing style to be well balanced. It was funny, sexy and entertaining. Although the romance developed rather quickly I found it to be realistic. The struggles Shelley and Quinn faced in keeping their relationship alive was relatable. I like the fact that they had to fight to keep the flame going. In the end it was great to see Quinn overcoming what he thought would be the biggest obstacle to their relationship.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It had me smiling from start to finish. I loved the characters they were unique and I enjoyed the camaraderie between the members of the Rockwell family. They were not snobbish or pretentious and I liked how they welcomed Shelley into their fold, no questions asked. I would recommend this story to not just fans of Melissa Foster and Bella Andre but also to readers who would enjoy a sweet and steamy romance.

Cape Cod Kisses by Bella Andre & Melissa Foster is the 1st book in their new series, Love on Rockwell Island. I was so excited to have found out that Bella and Melissa were going to collaborate on a romance series together. Both of them are the best at wonderful sweet family oriented romances, and with them working together, this had to be something awesome. I am thrilled to say I was right, Cape Cod Kisses was a wonderful sweet, sexy, and fun read, with a great couple and secondary characters.

We meet our heroine, Shelley Walters almost immediately, as she arrives on Rockwell Island for a much needed vacation. Shelley runs a coffee café in Maryland, and comes from a wealthy but distant family. After listening to many of her customers talk about their honeymoons, she decides to go on her own “solo honeymoon” to Rockwell Resort. Shelley is not interested in looking for a man, and just wants to have a 7 day sun and fun, and maybe letting herself go doing what she normally does not do. Late at night on the beach, she decides to skinny dip in the ocean, thinking no one will see her.

Quinn Rockwell has been forced home with his siblings to attend a meeting called by their grandfather. Quinn is a workaholic, having successfully built a shipping company, which keeps him busy, and away from Rockwell Island. Going for a run on the beach to clear his head, he sees a beautiful girl swimming naked in the water. As she stumbles, he runs to her rescue.

This is how it starts….a couple that will win your heart immediately. I absolutely loved Quinn and Shelley together, and adored how their relationship quickly built to a hot and steamy romance. Both are wealthy, independent and in jobs they love; yet they come from different backgrounds. Quinn has a big family; they are close and care about each other. Shelley is an only child, and comes from a family that is snobbish and not affectionate at all; causing her to not be around her parents, and to avoid relationships with wealthy families. But Shelley will see a different type of family with the Rockwells, something she has always wanted all her life.

Quinn is immediately entranced by the lovely free spirited Shelley, and finds himself rediscovering life on Rockwell Island, his family and his heart. What follows is a beautiful romance that brings together two different people, who we know are truly destined to be together.

Shelley is only on Rockwell Island for 7 days, but she is falling in love with the island and Quinn. Will she stay? Quinn has a major deal in the works that requires him to go back fast. Will he be able to offer Shelley something more than a long distance relationship? Why did the grandfather call them all home, and how will it affect them all? You need to read this book to find out all the answers.

Cape Cod Kisses is a delightful, enjoyable and fun story that will have you not only fall in love with Quinn and Shelley, but also with the entire Rockwell family. I enjoyed this book so much I finished it in one day; which should not be a surprise, as it is written by two fantastic authors, who know how to give us heartwarming love stories. Love on Rockwell Island promises to be a fabulous series, and I am anxiously awaiting more stories on the fabulous Rockwell family. I suggest you start with the first book, Cape Cod Kisses.

Well, let's see… when the author is Melissa Foster, I know it's going to be a great book. I've only read one or two by Bella Andre, but I've got a long list of hers TBR, so it's not like I was going to pass up the chance to read a story written by both of them!

Shelly's way more independent than I am, but it's impossible not to love such a free spirit. Her solo honeymoon idea was simply brilliant, and I love that she was doing it for her own enjoyment, not to prove anything to anyone but rather so that she wouldn't miss out on the experience — even if a travel companion was conspicuously absent. But what most intrigued me about her was that she was not your typical poor little rich girl. While her family was made of money, she didn't bother playing her role. Instead, she'd been doing what made her happy, despite what her family might think of it, for a long time. When a character is already so certain about who she is, you get to know her very quickly as well.

Quinn, on the other hand, is more typical of the successful businessman whose life is missing that important someone to share it with — as well as a real sense of adventure. But that doesn't make him any less loveable. In fact, I'm not sure anyone wouldn't be able to sympathize with him early on, given how despite the warmth he shows with his father and siblings, he's stuck with the world's coldest and most controlling grandfather. Being essentially ordered to move back to Cape Cod, with no regard or respect for the business he's built into a huge success, puts him emotionally between the proverbial rock and a hard place. While he loves his childhood home and seems to be able to put aside the stuffy suit (for the most part) when there, it's out of his hands. He's essentially being forced to stay in a place he loves, which has got to be a bit of a mental nightmare. Fortunately, he meets Shelly, and her tendency to buck tradition and disregard expectations speaks to that part of him that's missing.

Their first meeting was simply brilliant — with the woman catching the man off guard and drooling for once! But it's not insta-love or an excuse to immediately shed the life he's been living. On the one hand, Shelly is so different than anyone else he knows, but she also challenges him to pursue his own idea of happiness, not just on the business side of things but in his personal life.

As with everything else I've read that Melissa Foster has had her hands in, Cape Cod Kisses, is every bit your standard romance — but with fresh characters and classic romantic twists that have been upended and made new. Of course, that's not to take anything away from Bella Andre — I fell in love with the couple of hers I've read, making the pairing of these two awesome romance authors a brilliant combination that becomes more evident with each new page. Shelly and Quinn's romance is sweet and entertaining and occasionally nail-bitingly tense, which is exactly what a story like theirs should be, and it lived up to my every expectation.

Cape Cod Kisses is a delightful, spirited introduction to Rockwell Island and the Rockwell family. The authors (I love saying that - this collaboration is a fantastic idea and two of my favorite authors together, you can't go wrong) paint a magical picture of a quaint island that draws you in and makes you want to grab a pastry and a cup of coffee and sit down and watch the world go by. Through their descriptions of the cove and the resort and the town, I was able to immediately appreciate this wonderful island. Who wouldn't want to move there!

The authors also create two wonderfully complex characters in Shelley and Quinn. Quinn is an extremely driven business man who doesn't realize what he's missing in his life until he's forced to return to the island, and meets Shelley. I love how Quinn begins to see his grandfather in his own reflection as Shelley begins to chip away at his business-minded exterior. It was endearing to see the struggles that Quinn goes through as he fights his apparently innate nature to pour his whole self into work. Quinn quickly realizes that what drives him may just drive Shelley away. As a reader, I could feel his struggles as he fights to find a way to change that nature and obtain a better balance between his work and his personal life. He doesn't know what he's been missing until he meets Shelley and I love how he transforms into a man that is perfect for Shelley.

Shelley is a really enjoyable character. I wouldn't describe her as a free spirit, per se, but she's so comfortable with who she is and what she wants out of life that she is completely able to live in the moment. It's an enviable trait. Shelley's "solo honeymoon" is the epitome of living in the moment. Everything from how she takes in the town, to coming up with a plan to move to the island, to how she analyzes not only Quinn's actions, but his intentions demonstrates her ability to adapt her expectations and outlook on life. She is able to take in the total picture of what makes Quinn tick, both his words and his actions, to determine whether he can be the kind of man she can be with. He turns out to be everything she never knew she ever wanted.
The authors introduce us to the rest of the Rockwell family as well - from their loving parents, to Quinn's siblings. Each has unique traits that put together make them a great family to spend time with, and I look forward to Quinn's sibling's love stories that I know will happily bring me back to Rockwell island many times. Bella Andre and Melissa Foster hit one out of the park with this inaugural novel in the Rockwell Island!

Carefree and spirited Shelley Walters is not the woman who sits around waiting for that perfect man. She takes on life as she wants, enjoys and soaks in the wonders around her, which includes one very fun trip up to Rockwell Island for a honeymoon- alone. She's ready for some fun and plans to enjoy whatever she can but ends up with more than she'd planned, and it's everything Shelly swore she didn't want in her life.

Quinn Rockwell works hard and long hours, actaully it's all he ever does. Quinn knows nothing day to day unless it's business. As a workaholic, he puts in more hours than he should, his focus and drive his engery for work. With an unexpected ultimatum dropped by his Grandfather about the family business falls into his hands Quinn heads up to Cape Cod Bay to deal with the family Resort. All he sees is work doubling, longer hours and more to do, but that all comes to a halt when he crosses paths with Shelly. Perhaps there was something more than work in his future after all.

Differences are obvious between Shelly and Quinn but that's nothing compared to the chemistry that neither can ignore. Neither of them expected to find passion in the Bay, but that's just what they find. For the first time in Quinn's life he's questioning everything and finding out just how much he needed this week with Shelly. She shows him more than he expects , passion, fun, and possibly something he never thought he'd deserve. Love. Will the passion and connection they found together work outside into their real lives or will it stay tucked into the cove they found each other in? You'll have to read Cape Cod Kisses to find out!

I loved this book, really loved it. Great easy read, it was so nice to see Quinn open up, come into his own. He has everything, literally has it all, but you also see what he's denied himself through his work. Shelly brings it all out of Quinn, not that she has everything but Shelly is so spirited and more easy going that she can has given him that chance to stop, open up and enjoy more that's around him. It was such a enjoyable read, loved the friendship, enjoy how it grew throughout the story. Foster and Andre are one powerful duo I would love to see team up again to write. They did a fantastic job with Cape Cod Kisses, it's a must in your summer library this year.

Melissa Foster, and Bella Andre really did this book amazingly! Shelley and Quinn were a great couple to read about. During the story both characters were built from the past until now, really get to know them as a ‘person’.
Rockwell Island sounds like a place I need to drag my husband to. The descriptions sound romantic, laid back and humble community, kinda reminds me of home. I am sure everyone knows everyone’s business at times, but I guess we all get that in a close network community. The friendly atmosphere really gave it a warm feeling, a very welcoming feeling.
Shelley Walters takes a hold of her life and decided upon herself to set out for a solo honeymoon to Rockwell Island. She has such a great personality, it seems everyone she meets really truly loves being around her, she can change the mood in any environment she steps in. When she set out for her solo honeymoon, she didn’t think she would find anyone quiet like Quinn.
Quinn Rockwell loves his work, but has became really distant with where he grew up at Rockwell Island. He didn’t adventure back to the Island for any reason than to see what his Grandfather wanted. Little did he know he would run into such a gorgeous girl like Shelley.
This story is beautiful structured, well-written, and I congratulate both of these amazing authors. Rockwell Island will be a series I would enjoy getting to read, it is a book when you are sick you want to read it. It just gives you that warm fuzzy feelings inside. I also enjoyed the friendship Shelley had, a true friendship from the start and a true friendship at the end. They checked on each other, text, and you can really see how much they cared for one another, as well as their humor. Now, this was the first book by Bella Andre I have read, I know, I live under a rock… but that is okay. I will definitely have to check out other writings from Bella. I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

The Players: Rochelle "Shelley" Walters, only child and heir to the Walter's Enterprises diamond fortune. Quinn Rockwell, grandson of the great Chandler Rockwell, owner of the Rockwell Island and Resort.

The Story: Shelley Walters has decided that instead of waiting for Mr. Right to come along, she's going to take herself on a "solo honeymoon". She's booked a week a the Rockwell Resort on Cape Cod in the honeymoon cottage in order to rest, relax and have some fun. Shelley is a free-spirit, to the bane of her parents.

Quinn Rockwell is only back on the island as a result of a direct order from his grandfather. He doesn't really have to be here, his company is trying to merge with another and he feels guilty for leaving his partner holding the bag.

When Shelley and Quinn meet under the moonlight, sparks fly. Quinn can't wait to spend more time with her and thinks she feels the same, until she realizes he's a Rockwell. Quinn discovers that Shelley has issues with workaholics -- she was raised by a couple and knows first hand how family, especially children, come second to the work.

Quinn finds himself falling for Shelley, but given his penchant for 80 plus hours a week, he's not sure he can give her the attention she needs and deserves.

Plot: Two people meet and fall for each other, and Quinn must decide what's really important to him: his business or Shelley. Shelley knows that she's a free spirit and often makes decisions on the spur of the moment. The island feels like home and she wants to make it her home and hopefully Quinn will be with her.

Cape Cod Kisses by Bella Andre and Melissa Foster is a sweet love story that will have you swooning from the moment you meet Quinn. Shelly is an independent woman who doesn't need a man to take a honeymoon. Quinn is sexy, romantic, and willing to change his workhorse lifestyle for the woman he loves. Shelly has the best sense of humor and I really enjoyed her look on life and just how free she was to try new things on a whim.

I haven't read any of Bella Andre's works before, but I've read everything Melissa Foster has ever written. I have to say that there is less steam in this novel than I'm used to in Melissa's books, but there are still some really great swoon-worthy moments that keep the pages turning. If you aren't a fan of angst filled books, then you should definitely pick up Cape Cod Kisses. Romantic, sweet, with just a little heat.

This is the first in the Love on Rockwell Island Series and we were introduced to the Rockwell clan, including Quinn's brothers and one sister. I love the backdrop of Rockwell Island and can't wait to get my hands on the next book - it seems like it's going to be Quinn's brother, Trent's story. Now that I've read Bella Andre and Melissa Foster together, I love this powerhouse combo!

Cape Cod Kisses gets a place on my Summer Beach Reads list.

If you read my reviews at all... you know that Melissa Foster is a favorite. I was a little nervous when I saw that she was partnered for a series with someone who's books I was unfamiliar with. (Sometimes messing with a good thing is a bad thing!) Thank goodness Cape Cod Kisses stayed true to the Foster books I always love.

Cape Cod Kisses easily fits with Melissa Foster's other series books. It felt like a mix of the family feel that you get with The Braden or Remington books... but mixed with the beach & vacation friends feel of the Seaside Summers series. I want to be like Shelley and just pick up and move to a place like Rockwell Island. It sounds like pure perfection to me.

Since this was the first book in the Love on Rockwell Island, there were a lot of people to meet (and fall in love with). Of course it focused on Quinn and Shelley... but we also met the rest of the Rockwell siblings (and you can easily see where the next books will be able to go by following the siblings (very much like the Bradens). The 4 brothers and sister are very different... but all so devoted to each other and their parents. I was just so easily drawn in and felt so at home with their family. It was easy to understand how Shelley fell in love with not only Quinn... but his family as well.

If you have read my romance book reviews, you know I am a huge fan of Melissa Foster.

Bella Andre is a completely new author to me, but if Cape Cod Kisses in any indication of her writing, I feel it is similar to Melissa’s and I enjoyed it.

Cape Cod Kisses had the romance aspect that is typical of a Melissa Foster book, but I felt the heat of adult scenes was toned down a little bit – which isn’t bad – it’s just a statement.

Like Melissa’s previous series, Quinn comes from a large family so I know we are in for a long haul of romance with all the siblings (and frankly, I can’t wait.)

I love Shelley. I love her free spirit. I love her passion and carefree personality. She is someone I could definitely see being friends with.

And Quinn. Oh Quinn. He needs no other words.

I really liked the entire Rockwell family and experience. Chandler is someone I can definitely understand as that was the patriarch in my family as well. Shelley’s parents are familiar territory and her desire to fit in with Quinn’s family is a wish I can understand all too well.

Rockwell Island itself sounds like absolute heaven.

With all the characters and the perfect location, this really is a great romance read that will have you grinning like a love struck fool!

OMG OMG. just when u think some of your favorite authors couldn't come out with a better series THEY JOIN FORCES and write a book together.

Cape Cod kisses is an amazing start to a new series by two of my favorite authors. You will fall in love with Quinn and Shelley and tge whole lot from Rockwell Island.

Quinn is a hard working man who o nn my has time for his business. Shelly is a fly by tge seat of her pants kind of woman. Even though her family is wealthy she is not interested in that kind of lifestyle. She loves life and listens to her gut on making decisions and tgat is what lead her to a solo honeymoon on Rockwell Island where she meets Quinn who had to cone to the island by request of his grandfather. It is a whirlwind romance that will snatch you up from the very beginning. I encourage everyone to snatch up it book and start reading. I cant wait for the next book to come out because it looks lije Trent has seen tge errors of his ways and wants wgat his over working through away 10 years ago.

Bravo Melissa Foster and Bella Andre you have made this ole girl extremely happy.

As a fan of both these authors, I was sure that this would be a wonderful read, and I was right! That it is the first of a series is a huge bonus, as it makes the setting and the characters even more important, as they will no doubt feature again. Indeed in my experience, both writers keep their loyal readers happy by giving regular updates on previous series romances.

This is a very romantic read; for all that Quinn is a workaholic, meeting Shelley manages to knock him sideways. The twists and turns as they come to terms with their expectations and their backgrounds are so vividly depicted that it is difficult not to pitch in with an opinion! There are plenty of side characters to get to know in anticipation of future books too.

I would say that this is perfect holiday reading; escapism at its best.

I was so excited to start this series and now I cant wait to continue it. Shelley and Quinn make a great couple and make for a great read too. Bella Andre and Melissa Foster were the right team to write such a great love story. I was intrigued with the way this story starts out because Shelley is a woman on a single honeymoon who is against dating and men. I really like the way Quinn comes in and makes her rethink her dating and life decisions. I dont want to give too much away but it was a pretty quick and good read. I was hooked in from the first chapter. I cant wait to get into the second book and learn about the rest of the Rockwell family.

I was really looking forward to this series however I found it a struggle to get past the 30% point of Cape Cod Ksses. I thought the heroine was quite judgmental based on her experiences, and Quinn's insta-love was extraordinarily frustrating (being told that the heroine thinks he's poetic is no excuse for some of the cheesy dialogue, and the abundant references to how sexy/hot/gorgeous/smart/interesting the heroine was made him even less attractive). There was a lot of repetition in relation to all the secondary characters and the setting. I liked Derek and Sierra so I will read their stories in the hopes they're more toned down.

When two masters of romance come together to write you know the result is going to be something wonderful and Cape Cod Kisses does not disappoint. I'm currently under a lot of stress and this was a great book to curl up with at the end of a rough day. An effortless read that transported me away to to the cape and captivated me with it's charm.

I never include spoilers in my reviews as regular followers will know but I will say that this book is hot in all the right places! I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to read more from these wonderful ladies.

I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

This is the first book in the Rockwell Island series. This book is written by Melissa Foster and Bella Andre but I wouldn't of guessed if I hadn't of known. I thought the Rockwell family were lovely and I can't wait to get to know them all better. This is a love story at it's best, there are some steamy scenes but I think that just adds to it, there are also lots of romance and lots of laughs. It is such a feel good book. I am hooked and I can't wait for the next book, also will be looking out for some Bella Andre books.

Nice read

This is a start of a great series. I enjoyed Shelly's free spirit and am really thinking about scheduling a solo honeymoon. Shelly went to the island to enjoy herself and met the man of her dreams Queen. She has preconceived notions about wealthy, overachievers and Quinn is just the guy to change her mind. Except for the fact that he never makes time for anything other than building his empire.

I absolutely loved this book. Could not have asked for a better story coming from two of my favorite authors. I could see both of them through out the entire book. I love Quinn and all the changes he was making to become a better man for himself and for Shelley. I loved Shelley and how strong and sweet and independent from her parents she was. They made a beautiful couple. I can not wait for the next book.

Wonderful!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The setting was beautiful and the Rockwell family is intriguing and swoony!
There was a beautiful love story and I love the personal growth of the characters and the spontaneous spirit of the main character. The only thing this book didn't have was any big climax, it was mostly smooth sailing which is enjoyable.

I can't wait to read about Trent's story in Cape Cod Promises :)

While this book was utterly predictable in every aspect, I still loved it for its fresh take on how a woman who was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth shied away from that lifestyle to make her own way in life. Even going so far as to take a solo honeymoon, where she meets and falls in love with the love of her life, a man born with a silver spoon in his mouth. A man who forgot how the simple things in life make him happier than mergers and acquisitions.
