FOUR DELICIOUSLY DIRTY STARS.

description

Tracy Wolff evidently loves to deliver brazen-style, dirty sex scenes with the added bonus of loveable characters in one well-written bundle and I can happily announce that I'm now a firm fan. Send me in the direction of more from this author I like, I like a lot. Here are the rest of my 'Shaken dirty' book thoughts ...

What's it all about?
Elise McKinney finds herself injured and all alone, not expecting anyone to come to her rescue it comes as a huge surprise when ex music rival and all round gorgeous rock star, Quinn Bradford returns to his hometown and attempts to take Elise into his care whilst she recovers. With a history between them and enough chemistry to make it clear that they both want each other Elise and Quinn must resist the temptation of seduction or give in to the connection that has always been there. But with insecurity, mistrust and heart break building between their relationship they both have to decide if what they have is worth fighting for. 'Drive me Crazy' is the second book in the rock band themed series, 'Shaken dirty' and follows the story of the band's talented keyboardist, Quinn.

What did I love?
I adore discovering an author that has an obvious love of writing about romance. Nothing makes me happier than to waste away the hours escaping into a world of fictional characters and their romantic drama's. With all that being said I can gladly report that this author is ticking all of the above boxes and more and I'm already hooked on this series about the 'Shaken dirty' band members. Tracy Wolff has a way of making the connection between her characters both sensual and heart thumping, I love her almost poetically erotic way of writing the loved up scenes between the characters. 'Drive me crazy' had a little bit of everything thrown into the pot; second chance at love theme, heart break, pain, insecurity, deliciously dirty romance, friendship, laughter and more. The plot was well thought out and the characters likeable from page one to the end. This story held my attention and I'm happy to say I'm already looking forward to more books in this series.

description

Why not five?
As much as I enjoyed this latest loved up rock and roll style novel it started off on a melancholy note for my tastes, I don't mind a little angst and troubles for my characters but I felt it started out a little on the heavy side. However as the story progressed the author introduced some brilliant dialogue between the characters and an element of the hot and steamy that made me one happy romance reader. Overall the story, characters and naughty loving were all of a largely likeable standard it just had that something missing to make it a full out five star rating, but there is no mistaking that this book deserved a solid four star, Tracy Wolff I like your style.

description

Final thoughts ...
Are you Looking for a well written rock star themed romance? Then look no further. This author has oodles of talent for making her readers drool and swoon in equal measure and I'm sure most readers of this genre would happily devour this series. Tracy Wolff is an author that is firmly planted on my romance radar and I'm excited to see more of what she has to offer. Go grab it readers, enjoy ... Kisses.

3.75 Sexy Rocker Stars

I have read a few books by Tracey Wolff in the past, which have all been a bit lackluster for me. So I was hesitant going into this, not knowing what to expect. I have always really enjoyed Tracy's writing style, but couldn't connect to the story. Luckily for me, Drive Me Crazy changed it. What a fun and sexy book. Definitely a series I will be gladly following from now on. I haven't read the first book in the series yet, but after this one I plan on rectifying this immediately.

Elise and Quinn haven't seen each other in 10 long years. They knew each other when they were both teen piano prodigies. But then something happened, and Elise hasn't seen Quinn since.

So imagine her surprise where the now famous rock star shows up at her hospital room when she survives a terrible car crash that has killed her best friend and manager and has mangled her hand. Elise is not in a good place emotionally. She has recently lost almost everything she cares about; her father, her manager, and now with the damage to her hand quite possibly her career as a famous concert pianist. The last thing she wants is to spend time with the man that broke her heart all those years ago.
She'd built her whole world around him once, when he was the only person she could feel anything for. The only person she could trust. When he had left, it had shattered her.

Quinn may have walked away from her 10 years ago, but he never forgot her. His reasons are shrouded in mystery, but he wasn't good for her then. He had to walk away. But now he doesn't want to walk away, he wants Elise and he's determined to be the one she leans on. So what's a man to do? Trick her into staying in his house and force her to allow him to take care of her.

The chemistry between these two was through the roof hot. I loved their banter and the tricks they would play on each other. As hard as Elise tries to resist the pull, there's only so much a girl can withstand. And when you have a gorgeous tatted rock star determined to get her in his bed how can she say no?
She wanted him to take her, right here, right now, to spread her open and fuck her while the music still thrummed through her veins. Tomorrow could take care of itself

Now I have two words for you: PIANO SCENE
Good lord that was sizzling hot!

I really enjoyed this one, though there was something missing for me to put it at that amazing 5 star category. I can't quite put my finger on what that was, but it was still a hot little read.

I did get frustrated with Quinn at the end with a choice that he made. But I did love his groveling method.

Can't wait for more of Shaken Dirty. Really itching to get my hands on Wyatt's story. Nothing better than a broken hero :)

Drive me Crazy is a funny sweet story. I really do the prank between the H and h. The last prank was so unbelievable that had me laughing. The character development is sufficient to make the story interesting. The sex scenes are hot.

I wish there is more angst and more drama in the story because I enjoy the prank so much.

3,5 Stars!
A sweet, solid and easy to read story, with some good characteristics and a few quite tedious moments. The main core is very compelling and romantic to the bone.

Quinn and Elise have chemistry. Yes, their past is extensive and filled with memories, both good and bad but their present will turn out to be even more so. After ten years of hardships, bad decisions and menial relationships they will finally find their way back.

Elise suffers from a terrible accident, that cost her a dear friend and parental figure, her career as a pianist and her placement in the world. She is now in a hospital bed with a mutilated hand and the man she was in love with a decade ago is finally at her side.

Quinn, will try anything to have another chance with the only woman he ever loved. Even fool her and make her stay with him until she can take care of herself again. Elise is in a dark place, and so is he. His very popular and successful group is in deep trouble, but even that won't stop him from helping her.

This is a beautiful, tender, both funny and serious story, with its ups and downs, a few twists and a great ending. I loved the beggining and the teen years so much. The pranks were an amazing touch, and even though i couldn't connect with the characters very well, i still enjoyed the book.

THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK

- The scene with the goldfish was very hot.
- The inner monologues were a tad too much.
- The supporting characters were great, very likeable.
- I liked the story a lot, but is lacks on details and i think if it was a tad longer it would have been so much better.
- The characters would have the chance to grow more and the storyline would have been wellrounded and wholesome.
- Again, the pranks were awesome.
- There is a scene that for me signals the turning point in the book. It made a huge difference in a good way.

4.5 Spicy Goldfish Cracker & Belieber Stars.

Tracy Wolff writes good sex, I have read pretty much everything that she has released in the past 12 months and although sometimes the story can be a little sketchy, the sex is always HOT. The good thing about Drive Me Crazy is not only is the sex hot, but the story is an absolute treasure as well!

Elise McKinney and Quinn Bradford have known each other since they were seven. Both classical piano prodigies, they spent a lot of time together on the competition circuit competing against each other, not just with music, but also practical jokes. Both have less than stellar upbringings and both try to protect the other from the darkness that invades their lives.

At the age of 17 Elise gives Quinn her heart and her virginity, and he promptly ups and leaves the morning after, not to be heard of again. That is until the day Elise finds herself in hospital after a horrific car crash that takes everything she holds dear to her. Numb, broken and alone she tries to isolate herself from the pain of her loss and the resurfacing feelings that Quinn’s unexpected arrival bring back to her.

Quinn had once been everything—the only thing—that mattered to her.

Quinn Bradford –

“a walking example of wicked, wild sexpersonified? At seventeen, he’d been hot. At twenty-seven, he was blistering.”

The tattooed and pierced keyboard player for Shaken Dirty, has more than a few of his own demons. Not least leaving Elise after the night she gave him her heart. He left her once; he won’t do it again, even if it means kidnapping her, when she leaves the hospital.

This was such an enjoyable read, I loved the relationship dynamic between Quinn and Lissy, and the roundabout of practical jokes they played on each other pretty much from the beginning, made me giggle more than once, they were so original and well thought out that I couldn’t stop reading, excited to see what each would do to the other next. The Twinkies and the Belieber incidents were hi-lar-ious!

We are also pulled more into the whole Shaken Dirty story as a whole, Wyatt is still someone whose story I am desperate to read (fingers crossed Ms Wolff, has him firmly in her sights now). But also seeing the strengthening of the whole Shaken Dirty Family with Jared, Ryder & Jamison rolling through this book really did make me eager for the next book in this series.

The scene with the piano will be etched in my mind for quite a while I think.

Elise and Quinn have a history. Ten years later she ends up in the hospital following a terrible car accident. Quinn is back to help her get back on her feet.

I would have liked more dialogue because the parts with them talking were actually quite good. I didn't get the pranks they played on each other, I found them quite childish. Preferably it is better to read book 1 first as I forgot the back story to all the other side characters.

Characters were ok, story was ok, steam was ok. It was just ok, didnt like it nor dislike it. A quick and easy one to pass the time. Definitely not a drop everything to read it book.

I loved Crash into Me so I have to confess I did a dance of glee when I was given the opportunity to read this. One book managed to make me fall in love with the Shaken Dirty boys; I love their banter, their presence and their weaknesses and Drive Me Crazy just adds to my adoration.

It surprised me hugely just how different Quinn and Elise's story was to Ryder & Jamison's. Moving away from the performing on stage element was a perfect move by Tracy Wolff and has kept everything fresh, whilst continuing the bands story. Quinn is a tattooed pierced gent of a rock god with a wicked sense of humour and a protective streak. Elise is a classical pianist, recovering from a career ending accident and his first love. He left her but he's back; bigger, badder and sexier at 27 than he was at 17...

I loved them and their dynamic; I flitted between howling with laughter at their prankish rivalry yet my heart went out to them. And as for the sexy action? Well sexy is a word that doesn't really do it justice. The scene with the piano in Pretty Woman? Well let's just say that has nothing in comparison.

I am a Shaken Dirty groupie. Their vulnerabilities bring out my emotional side yet their sexiness has the capability to reduce me to a swooning mess and that is precisely why I love this series.

I received a copy of this as an ARC courtesy of Entangled Publishing for an honest and unbiased opinion.

I'm a Shaken Dirty groupie...I've never been a groupie in really life, but I would be for them.

I was sad that I didn't get an ARC for this one, but no problem I went and pre-bought it, so I would have it in my Kindle when I woke up. So happy that I did. I loved this book as much as the first. It starts off just a little after the first one ends. Quinn and Elise are awesome, and the practical jokes are the bomb. I might have to try one or two of them.

I can't wait for the next book...will it be Jared, Wyatt, or Drew? And because of her great epilogue we know the ladies names just not who they match up with. Please write faster Ms. Wolff.

3.5 stars (rounded up)

All in all I liked this one. A sexy second chance romance with plenty of humor, steamy love scenes, and an emotional catharsis of sorts that brings together two childhood frenemies whose pranks and antagonism were a gateway to their affection for one another. It did seem as some of the issues in this couples' past were skimmed over and the "big" grovel scene wasn't as impacting as I thought it would be. I did enjoy meeting the secondary characters and I look forward to reading Jared and Wyatt's stories.

and the rockers continue!
I think this is a fun story to read! Quinn, Lissy and their pranks were hilarious!

Near the end of the book my hubby looked at me and said, "good book?"
Of course I replied, "it is, why do you ask?"
He said I had a big smile on my face.

I really like Wolff's style of writing...it is easy and fun, sexy.

4.5 STARS

After reading Drive Me Crazy I am a hardcore Shaken Dirty fan. There is never a dull moment when they are together whether on the road or at home working on their next album. To top it all off keyboardist Quinn Bradford’s life just got a lot more complicated as the girl turned woman he once loved is back in his life following her life changing accident. The band’s future is also up in the air as one member is in rehab and another band member is no longer welcome. An incredibly well written and detailed story of betrayal, friendship, hilarious pranks, and most love lost and found again. Drive Me Crazy grabbed my attention in the prologue and held my interest through the last word; this is a series not to be missed!

Every time I think about the odd relationship between Quinn and Elise I can’t help but smile and even chuckle. What started as a way for Quinn to help Elise with her stage fright back in their teenage years returns as Quinn tries to help Elise with the loss of her career as a concert pianist following a horrific car accident. As much as I loved the hot as hell sexy scenes, the pranks they pulled on one another were absolutely some of my favorite moments. Man these two were devious but I’m going to give Elise the edge, I sure as hell wouldn’t want this woman pissed off at me!

In addition, I loved the moments between the band members as they worked on material for their new album, tried to figure out how to move forward with the band, supported their member in rehab, but mostly for the way they accepted Elise into their fold and made her feel a part of their team.

While they moved pretty easily back into a relationship but on an adult level (well most of the time), that’s not to say that Quinn’s incessant need to protect Elise doesn’t cause him to have a lapse in judgment. Thankfully he’s a man who knows the art of groveling and he does it so well.

With each book in this series I become more enamored with it and with this fictional band. Yes, this is a romance but these books are so incredibly full of subplots that it feels like real life going on around you. The subplots don’t overshadow the romance, it enhances it and makes it all the better. Drive Me Crazy is every bit as good as the first book in this series, Crash Into Me. If you’re not a Shaken Dirty fan you are missing out!

After the hero peeps at the heroine's medical chart because he believes she's lying to him about the extent of her injuries, I was done.

They haven't seen each other in a decade. He ghosted on her after taking her v-card and now he thinks he deserves her candor. NO THANKS.

Drive Me Crazy started out a bit strange for me, but it quickly picked up after a few chapters. Before I get started, a few trigger warnings to mention: there is past child abuse, physical fighting and cheating in this one.

At first, the interactions between Quinn and Elise felt awkward and forced, with the words claiming an intimacy and sizzle that didn't come off the page. The author jumped right in and said that there should be something there, but we hadn't had enough time to first get to know the characters. BUT THEN. It quickly escalated.

The whole book takes place over several days, really, so it did seem a bit like insta-love, though this was tempered by the knowledge that, even though the two hadn't seen each other for a decade, back in their teens, they had years of messing with each other – and then messing around with each other – before they dramatically split.

So the fact that it doesn't take at all long for things to get heated wasn't that shocking. Only a little bit. Especially once Quinn and Elise started up with the pranks, trying to one-up each other each day. And they were hilarious. The Twinkies! Genius! But then they got a bit saucier...and saucier... and then the two of them were lost. Goners. They had it bad.

Or should I say good? I could definitely feel the chemistry with this one. Wowza. It was hot hot hot. I would warn potential readers, though, that it is pretty graphic, with talk of fingers going places, and it has the cliches of endless Os and instant erections that a small part of me can't help but roll my eyes at. Plus, apparently women's nipples instantly get hard with just the smallest amount of excitement. Whodathunkit??? So while I did enjoy the steam rising off my Kindle, I had to raise my eyebrow a few times.

One other thing that made me hmmmm while reading was that Elise lost everything at the beginning of the book. In the space of a year, her father had died (though their relationship was rocky), her fiancé had broken things off, and now suddenly she'd lost her best and only friend and damaged her hand so badly her career as a classical concert pianist was ruined. And she didn't fall apart nearly enough for me. Because who cares when you have a hot rock star bent on making you never want to leave bed again, right? So a point was lost there, soz.

All in all, though, I did read this all in a morning, so it was clearly a fun ride for me! ;)This review was originally posted on Love in a Time of Feminism

Shaken Dirty are back baby ! Grab your backstage pass and delve into the world of rock and roll.

This book starts up after the events of the last book Crash into Me, but it can be read as a stand alone. Though you will no doubt enjoy it more if you have read the first one. That said, you are in for a treat. This is Quinn's the keyboardist story and let me tell you he owns it from the start. Who knew he was a classically trained pianist ? He's all rock and roll, so that came as a nice surprise.

As for the heroine, we have Elise, whom I liked right away The prologue had me laughing with her and by the first chapter I wanted to give her a hug. She is the perfect foil for Quinn. She knows him from a long time ago and they have a history together. My favourite thing about her was that she have as good as she got.

These two cracked me up with their pranks. From the first page then throughout the book, we get fun prank after prank. The one with the twinkles is a classic. The reaction of the guys is the best. But though there are light moments, there are darker moments too. There is a scene towards the end of the book where my heart was hurting for Quinn.

I liked how the author kept the story from the previous book moving through this one. The band deal with events that happened in Ryder's book. It was good to see the band dealing with the repercussions. It made them feel more real.

When Elise McKinney wakes up in a hospital room after an accident that killed her best friend and may have destroyed her career as a concert pianist, the last person she expected to see was Quinn Bradford. She hasn't seen him in ten years, not since he hot footed it out of bed leaving her behind without a word.

Quinn couldn't stay away when he hears of the accident. When he sees Elise, he quickly plots to kidnap her and take care of her. Help her rest and heal. Anything to see her healthy and happy. But what starts out as a harmless gesture to a friend from long ago soon starts to develop into something more. With each prank they pull on each other they grow a little closer until neither can stop the passion that flares.

But as they start to fall or maybe fall again, mcan their pasts, band troubles or worry for the future stop them from finding a happy ever after or can they find their way back to each other as they did after years apart ?

I am eagerly awaiting the next book in this series, I'm hooked. Add me to the groupies for Shaken Dirty. With hopefully stories for troubled Wyatt, Jared and another band member, I can't wait to go back on tour with the band.

Elise is a successful pianist. Quinn is a successful Rock N Rock Star. When these 2 Worlds collide music is made.

Elise and Quinn know each other from when they were 16. They were competitors on the classical music circuit. Both very talented pianists. After Quinn takes Elise to another level in there relationship he bails.

Elises dad is controlling and mean. Quinn's dad is abusive and evil. Elise understands while Quinn bailed she just did not know if he was alive.

10 years later Elise is in a horrible car accident that means she must leave her pianist career behind her and find herself a new course in life. Quinn's tour with Shaken Dirty ends due to internal band brother issues and decides to take care of Elise after hearing about her unfortunate accident.

Elise can't forget Quinn walking out of her and never making contact but she realizes she still loves Quinn. Quin realizes he has always loved Elise and needs to make things right between them and win her back.

--I like Elise's character. I love that she is super serious most of the time but she can't help but let that part of herself fade with Quinn. Quinn loves to play pranks on Elise and she is not one to back down to a challenge and gives it back. The fun side of Elise's character is the best, very carefree and loving. Quinn is so sweet with his soft side. And Elise's last prank of the book I died laughing and was horrified at the same time. I mean OMG how could anyone do that to something so beautiful and PINK..... FUNNY. And I like the fact that Elise found a new passion with music.

Drive Me Crazy is the second book that I've read in the Shaken Dirty series. Relative to the other novels in this particular genre, I have to say that this series is one of the "better" erotic series that I've read. Author Tracy Wolff has a knack for creating extremely likable characters-- main characters & secondary characters alike. She also has a talent for writing engaging dialogue, & the chemistry between the main characters always comes across as both natural & believable.

My main gripe in regards to Tracy Wolff's writing: I wish that she would pay closer attention to her word choice. She tends to repeat certain phrases ad nauseum (sometimes multiple times within the span of 1-4 pages).

Here are my notes on Drive Me Crazy, which I read back on March 11:
"Loved the characters. But the writing could have been more polished. The repetitive use of the phrase “he/she wasn’t having any part in it” was distracting.... Undecided rating: 3.75-4 stars???"

In spite of my issues with the writing, I still intend to read the next book in the series. The characters are just so darn likable that it makes any deficiencies in the writing tolerable.

I love a good second chance romance, and this one did not disappoint! Quinn and Elise’s reunion is equal parts swoony and steamy. Their prank war is super fun, and they have some amazing banter. With moments that made me laugh out loud and others that hit me right in the feels. Their story is filled with lots of humor, heat, and healing. I definitely recommend it!

Drive Me Crazy, the second book in Tracy Wolff’s Shaken Dirty Series, was a fabulous read that has quickly made me a card carrying member of the Shaken Dirty Fan Club! I love this band, I love every single character (well, except for Micah who is in serious need of a swift knee to the balls) and I love the decadent and exciting world the author has created for this series.

Ten years ago Quinn Bradford, keyboardist for the band, walked away from Elise, the only girl that he ever loved, to protect her. He wanted her to be happy, to feel secure and not to live in fear - a life that he didn’t think he could provide. Now, after a life altering accident, Elise is back in his life and he isn’t sure if he can let her go again.

Elise McKinney is completely and totally alone. Waking up in the hospital after a car accident, she is forced to realize that her life has been irrevocably changed due to the injuries that she sustained. She is lost, she is devastated and she feels completely isolated...until Quinn walks through the door. She doesn’t want to trust in him again, but she can’t deny the feelings that he evokes in her once again.

I positively adored these two characters. Both, Quinn and Elise are very driven by their love for music - it is at the core of who they are as people. That love and desire were never more apparent than the piano scene - my favorite of the book. Through love, music and each other, they each find solace and refuge. Quinn was a brute force that completely enveloped Elise with his love, strength, admiration, protection and unwavering support. He was intune to her every need, her every want and her every desire, and without fail, provided all of those things to her. The love and adoration that poured out of him, into her, was breathtaking! Elise was such a fiercely strong survivor. Every time life knocked her down, and there were many, she got right back up and proved time and again, that nothing could break her. But after the accident, she had grown weary, not sure if she had the strength to get back up again. With Quinn’s help, she was able to get back up. With his love, she was able to stand taller than she ever had before.

While I really enjoyed Quinn & Elise’s story in Drive Me Crazy, the first book, Crash Into Me, is still my favorite. The other band members - Ryder, Jared and Micah - do make appearances, but I would have liked more page time for them. I missed, and needed more of, the camaraderie and interaction between the band members.

With each installment of this series, I fall a little more in love/lust with Shaken Dirty and Tracy Wolff. Her writing is exceptional, her stories are authentic and well written, and her characters are delectable and addictive. If you love rock star romances, then this book, and series, is a must read! Trust me, once you read these, you’ll be joining the Shaken Dirty Fan Club too!

Oh my wow. I freaking LOVED this book. For realz. I finished it at 5 this morning and I almost turned around and started reading it again. So freaking good.

I am really digging this series and I am loving the characters. Each character brings something new and exciting to the story. Yes, the guys are hot but there is so much more to them besides that. They are passionate, intense and funny. I found myself trying to hold back the laughs at a few points in Drive Me Crazy. I loved Elise and Quinn's relationship and how there were with one another. They we playful and serious and I just loved their banter.

Elise and Quinn go way back. They were once friendly competitors but haven't seen or talked to one another in ten years. Not since Quinn walked away from Elise after they spent one glorious night together. So Elise is more than shocked to see Quinn show up to her hospital room after she is hurt in an accident.

Quinn has always regretted walking away from Elise but in his mind he was doing it to keep her safe. After he hears about her accident he feels that this is a way that he can make things right between them once again. That hopefully they could become friends again. He doesn't expect all of the feelings that he once had for her to come rushing back. He knows that he should keep things friendly between them but the more time they spend around one another the more he finds himself falling under her spell.

I loved this two together. What I loved most is that their relationship grew from friendship. It wasn't rushed. They don't just jump into bed with each other and I really liked that. It was refreshing as it felt real to me. I liked that they had this past that connected them to one another and that they also connected through music. Elise is going through some harsh realities with her career and Quinn is there for her every step of the way. He helps her and nurtures her and her talent. I thought that these two were great together.

This was another great book from Tracy Wolff and I am seriously LOVING her Shaken Dirty series. I can't wait to see what's next for these sexy rockers.

I am a rock and roll girl through and through so when there is a book or even better a series about bands I snatch them up and inhale them like my own personal breath of fresh air.

I loved the first book in this series and I though it was a great start to what is undoubtedly going to be one of Tracy Wolff's best series yet.... And guess what peeps,I was right.... ( love it when that happens)

Quinn and Elsie have known each other for years. They both played on the professional concert piano circuit. One day after taking Elise's virginity at 17, Quinn disappears on her and she never hears from him again, leaving her bitter and ultimately feeling betrayed. 10 years later, he is the famous keyboard player for the band Shaken Dirty and Elise is still playing on the piano circuit. After a terrible car accident, Elise finds herself waking up in the hospital only to find out her dreams of playing piano again are over as she has badly damaged her hand. Quinn hears about what has happened to her and he comes to visit her, where he decides to take her home with him until she has recovered.... And so begins these two's story.

The practical jokes these two constantly played one each other was epic....Had me rolling around in stitches. I also loved the scene at the piano.....definitely gonna make me look at a piano differently from now on wards...:) (very very steamy)

Shaken Dirty is a band with lots of problems and I cant wait to read all the books in this series.... Wyatt and his substance abuse problems, Jarrod and the cheating finance, and Drew the new guy.... Hope Ms Wolff is a speed writer....:)

Looking forward to the next one....

I got this book on Netgalley for an honest review and even though it's #2 in a series it can be read as a stand alone, but I'm pretty sure I want to read the first one now !

I fell in love with the characters in this story, the Shaken dirty member are just perfection ! I'm a fan of rock band series and this one is up there on my top 5!

Elise's life is on ruins, she has no idea what her next step is and she is just drifting away in the hospital, until Quinn shows up in her life again, and he is as hot as she remembers.

The main characters are perfect together, they have this kind of war going on that has withstand the test of time and even though Elise is not in a good place, this is just what she needs to get back to her old self.

They both thought they could be together for a little while and then part ways, but that is not in the cards for them, since a love like theirs is not something that can just disappear, it's back with a vengeance and there's no way they can survive being apart.

The connection they have with each other was amazing ! and the way in which music strengthened that link is so enticing to read, they had some smoking hot sex scenes.

Love was lost, lives drifted apart, but at the end of the day they are just the same little kids who fell in love and now they have to leave their fears at the door and fight for each other, there's no room in life for what ifs.

3-1/2 stars.

Combine one sexy as hell rockstar with a blast from his past and what do you get? Crazy chemistry and the fast-paced story in Drive Me Crazy by Tracy Wolff. She's one of my favorite authors, and I was so excited to get to this story, though it wasn't the band member I wanted most. I did love the history that Quinn and Elise had. He hurt her bad but really wanted redemption. I loved their chemistry and banter and just everything about them. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. Fingers crossed we get Wyatt.
