This is the FIFTH book in the War of Contractia. This series is partly inspired by Japanese/Korean light novels, manga/manwa and anime. It is completely DRM free and you have permission to change the format for your personal use.
With so many girls interested in Peter he has some interesting times ahead. If the war doesn’t kill Peter perhaps dating will. Then again the war isn’t going very well, so it will have plenty of opportunities to try!
Peter must discover the ancient secrets of alchemy, of the stars and of his distant past. He must fight to protect his friends and for his own survival too. It’s not just Peter and his friends that are in grave danger though, but all of Contractia and more.
Please note that this series is unsuitable for young children mostly due to violent content and occasional (non explicit) references to matters of a romantic nature. There are also rare generally innocent, but compromising situations.
I am an independent author in my thirties. I generally write at the same time as cycling... on my exercise bike. I don't recommend writing and cycling on the road though! I write as a hobby in my spare time, though I wrote my latest book (The Consequences of Trolling God) between jobs. It is a magic fantasy comedy with elements of litRPG. The main character is an internet troll who has to face life as a real flesh and blood troll in a world where monsters are hunted.
I am a supporter of the Open Rights Group in the UK, which campaigns against internet censorship and mass surveillance among other digital rights issues. As I am committed to digital rights I believe it would be hypocritical to use DRM so I have no intention of doing so.
The first half of this book was a little slower and had a lot less action than some of the previous books in the series. I did enjoy the chance to see a bit more of the ordinary life in Contractia as well as the romantic plot lines. It also made a nice contrast with the generally faster second half of the book. There were some great action scenes and battles in the second half of the book. I'm now really looking forward to seeing how the series ends in the final book.
I enjoyed the harem/romance part a lot even if it was a bit slow. I loved the battles and the fan service. I liked that some very big questions were answered in this book and that it had an unexpected twist at the end. Now I'm waiting eagerly for the final book.
