I spent a year searching for something like this and it exceeded my expectations. It is, in essence, a kind of dictionary, and yet I couldn't put it down. I honestly read every word, in just a few hours. They are all categorised by sound groups with clear explanations of how they relate, and I finally feel like I understand how this language works - vital when it is so foreign from English and other romance languages. I continue to feel that Japanese is so much more logical. This whole thing was fascinating.
