What a perfect taboo romance!!
I enjoyed this book SO much. After her mother’s death, she reconnects with her former twin stepbrothers and stepdad… and let’s just say, they all want each other.
The insta-lust was AMAZING, and the spice? Delicious. There was such a great variety of spicy scenes, and everything was written really well.
I absolutely loved all their interactions, both separately and all together. The chemistry and tension between them were just so good.
An amazing spicy taboo read for all the filthy girls and boys! 😏 If you’re looking for low plot, high spice, definitely add this one to your TBR!

WOW 🫠😮💨 what a rollercoaster, I ran to read this book when I discovered it was high spice + low plot, a forbidden juicy taboo romance that scratch the itch you need when you want to get out of a reading slump or other things 👀 no judgement here.
The prologue slapped me in the face and called me a good girl 😮💨it started off with a banger and I was hooked, panting and waiting in anticipation for what was next to come 👀.
Listen this book had me questioning do I need heart meditation or blood pressure medication actually maybe I need both plus my inhaler because the way my heart was beating, jaw on the floor, holding my breath through scenes 😮💨🫠I was like putty on the floor, once the book was over I had to come back to reality and breathe again.
I finished this amazing book in one sitting, I was addicted and couldn’t get enough. I was laughing, giggling, kicking my feet, sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for something to happen let’s just say the TENSION 👀😮💨yep Riggs did her big one on this. Yes the lines was blurred maybe invisible because my morals was out of the window when it came to this book, do I care NO, would I slip this book into anyone’s basket & demand to read it YES, will i repeatedly continue to read it in the future also yes.
If you want a juicy, taboo, high spice romance 👀 make sure you add this book to your TBR because 😮💨 I had an amazing time.

I don’t know what C.J Riggs put in this book but I couldn’t put it down.
She describes this as low plot, high spice and it is exactly that, but it’s done in the best way. Often with books that are mainly sex I find myself skimming over those scenes as they’re repetitive, but each spicy scene was different and I was hooked.
I loved Aspens relationships with Jake and Colton and how she knew they wanted her and would entice them and her relationship with Elijah felt so natural. Although Jake and Colton tried to pretend they hated Aspen they were still protective of her and knew everything she was doing, including having sex with their dad. I didn’t know what to expect when Elijah found out she was sleeping with his sons but the fact he just joined in was perfect!
Although this didn’t end on a cliffhanger there’s still so much room for another book with them and possibly a life in London together?

I’d been looking forward to this for a while since it sounded so up my alley, and I enjoyed it! This was a fast, spicy read that hit on a lot of my fav things (step-brothers, step-dad, why choose, age gap, Daddy kink) and went fully in on the spice which I always massively appreciate.
My favorite parts (probably a shock to absolutely no one who knows me) were the scenes with Aspen and Elijah bc I will take a Daddy any day! But beyond that, I also felt that’s where we got the most illicit tension and heat and I was loving it. It really leaned into the taboo setup here and that does a lot for me. I also loved how everything ended up playing out in the end as I wasn’t sure how it was going to go! 🥵
If the tropes speak to you and you want a good spicy time (the intro itself will tell you there’s minimal plot) def give this one a try!

I saw it as a reco from someone I follow on insta that only recommends smutty books with no plot which this was. Fmc mums dies and so she goes to find the guy he was with that she thought for 3 years was her dad and before that she sleeps with twins and 1 of the twins thinks their dad is sleeping with someone and that’s why he puts them in her path so he can be like actually dad we slept with her but then their dad is like this is basically your step sis. So then there’s some hate and bullying which I could do without and they twins keep teasing her and shit and she keeps getting close to the dad as well eventually all of them do
It is was just a short filled with filth book nothing more which tbf the author says it’s just a smut book but I still didn’t like some interactions etc that’s why I gave it 3.5

Arc review - what more can you ask for than and spicy step sibling / step father novella. C.J Riggs has done it again in Forbidden Desires which tells the story of Aspen who rekindles the relationship with the man she thought to be her father many many years ago and meets him again following a recent tragedy. What she doesn’t realise is that she has already had “relations” with his twin sons and over time starts to develop feelings for him as well. This book is as smutty as they come and it is absolutely amazing, I couldn’t put in down. Also if I was in Aspens shoes I would want all 3 of them as well 😂😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

When a dedication starts with "Charge the rose, bitches... it's about to go down" you know the books gonna hit. From the prologue all the way through to the end Riggs had me in a chokehold. As a busy household of neurospicys I can easily say this is a book you can read in one sit. Can I also say I didn't know "sexual chicken" was a thing, maybe I live under a rock but I am not disappointed in it.
As we follow Aspen who tries to reconnect with her late mother's ex and the one she used to call dad, tensions rise, relationships are formed and panties are drop and almost non existent.
Buckle up your in for a wild ride.

This book has all the right parts of a great erotica, it has the spice, it has the plot and it has the best tension between all characters.
I genuinely did not want to put this book down, but life got in the way, so I did finish this in 3 reading sessions but dragging the book out that much longer really helped the anticipation.
