About the author

Kiki Swinson was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. She discovered her flair for writing after completing her first novel, Mad Shambles, while serving a five-year sentence at a federal prison.
After being released in December 1996, Kiki later went on to self-publish Mad Shambles. Her passion for writing didn't stop there. Writing feverishly into the wee hours of the night, she completed her second novel, Wifey, which was published by Melodrama Publishing. After the success of Wifey, Kiki penned the sequels I'm Still Wifey and Life After Wifey, as well as The Candy Shop and A Sticky Situation.

Kiki Swinson is ones of my favorites and has paved the way for many! We have to pay homage as she is the amazing author that has brought us the Wifey series, Wifey Extraordinaire, and many other glamorous urban fiction classics. So we already know she is one of the greatest. But if I am 100% honest,...this book was not it. It didn't feel like a seamless Kiki classic or even anything she would write. I even wondered if it was something she wrote ages ago but put out for us to read in between time. It didn't have her usual fabulous veteran stamp, there were a few mistakes, and when I finished reading I was thinking what the hell was that? But I have faith that the coming series will be amazing and this was just as titled the intro.

This book was really good I enjoyed it. Kim was definitely a women scorned but she dealt with it in a way skit of women would want too. I felt her pain when her friend Mariah died. Kim is on a mission and she better be careful because karma is alive and well.

Loved it! Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned! I noticed a few typos written in the book but not complaining one bit. Kim is an excellent character and I'm excited to see what continues in part two. Never mistake a woman's meekness for weakness!

Really good story. I LOVE me a good crazy/delusional read. My only dislike is the amount of errors. I don't usually focus on errors and can overlook them, but it was quite a few, and it distracted me at times from the story. I still give it a 4 start cause Kim kept my attention.

Too short!!!!

I am so glad that this book was free during my trial run of kindle unlimited. There is no way that I would pay for 42 pages. This story held my interest but was too short and had a terrible ending.

Scorned

I've had this book for a while and never read it. I'm so glad I chose to read it today. It was a very good storyline but it was just too short. I will definitely be reading part two.

I like where it's going but it's extremely too short. I'm confused as to why this was even made into a book. Currently on BOOK 2, hoping it's way longer and hopefully Kim doesn't let her rage drive her straight into the ground. She seems to be on a blood thirsty driven mission.
