Warlocks of Whitehall #1.5

Hair of the Dog: A Warlocks of Whitehall Novella

Rate this book
You've read Lore and Order (and if you haven't you should!), and now you want to know about Jameson Parker's first case as a warlock. Of course you do, you're a nosy so and so, but we won't hold it against you.

Dragged out of a life of megalomania, rehabilitated and put to work on the mean streets of London to track down a mythological killer, this is Jameson Parker at his youngest and, some would say, his best.

Not him, though. He's missing a tooth and has a sore face.

Enjoy a bite size story of a character who has been described as "very Constantine" and "like a playful, British, Harry Dresden", and prepare for book 2 of the Warlocks of Whitehall series.

Free from the author's website. Urban fantasy, a bit Midnight Mayor, a bit Rivers of London, brutal and humorous at the same time; good enough to persuade me to buy the novel.

Amazing short story. Parker loses his magic but as an apprentice is tasked with the help of Wingard who is to monitor him. But things get out of hand and you must read to find out what happens.

Very evil man (wizard) trying to be only mildly evil

Now how would you feel having no conscious and lots of power?
Probably a lot like this guy.
Book one. Read it.
