About the author

Brian Weimer is the best-selling author of Watchers and The Verticon File. His other works include Echoes From The Innerworld, The Citadel, The Verticon Code and the faith-based Nexus series. A former writer for The Colorado-based Examiner, he has traveled extensively within the United States as well as abroad. In addition to writing, Brian is also a digital artist, teacher, and lover of science fiction. An Alabama native, Brian graduated from Southeastern Bible College and resides in Birmingham where he spends much of his time supporting animal rescues. Nexus is an excellent book for new author, Brian Weimer. The story is both supernatural and sci-fi with an original plot, which I truly enjoyed. The characters were well developed, the dialogue was smart and the flow of the story was gripping and smooth.
The three main characters, Josh, Daniel and Nicole, are people from different walks of life who are brought together through fate, tragedy and divine design. Josh is a private investigator that works cases a little outside the norm. Nicole is attacked and nearly killed by a dark entity, the same dark force that Josh is investigating. Daniel is a college student with many supernatural abilities. Together they discover an evil organization is bent on unleashing demonic forces on their city and they must work together to stop them.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys supernatural stories with a dash of Sci-Fi. In addition, this book is laced with Christian elements that I found refreshing and could be read by those of the same faith. It is a great debut novel!

Nexus is a fantastic blend of the supernatural and religion, combining the two into a intriguing and entertaining story. Brian weaves realistic characters and an obvious religious background into a spellbinding, riveting and exciting story line. Nexus is a great debut and I look forward to the next installment!

This book reminded me of Xfiles with a Warehouse 13 feel to it. It kept me engaged and wanting to know more about what was going on. This book is well written, keeping your interest and keeping you turning the pages.
