I am using this for my daily reflection. My friend gave it to me as a Christmas gift, because I was struggling with prayer and it is fantastic. It has a four step process for daily reading, so a brief snippet of the gospel, followed by an example story less than half a page, followed by a two line prayer and action. It's tied so well together, that there are days I want to forego my Bible diary and just meditate with this. The actions are simple and easy, the example short stories apt and contemporary. You can relate to it and the perspective of it all is quite different from my own. So, its a very refreshing read, every morning, a different take on the viewpoint of the same verse. The Bible is truly a two edged sword and I'm amazed by the power it has. I have been able to return to regular prayer with this, slowly but steadily. It helps me meditate better.
