Isabelle Parrier seemingly has everything, she is beautiful, has handsome boyfriend and is the most popular girl in her high school. But she is also cold and conniving, and does everything she wants. Everyone in her school is trying not to get on her bad side, because she has ways of destroying people through her vicious schemes. Elisa Brown seems to always persevere, despite Isabelle's efforts to bring her down. Isabelle hates Elisa with burning passion, sometimes for the reasons unknown even to her.
Elisa is kind and gentle. She quickly rose to the ranks of second popular girl not only because of her breathtaking beauty but also because she wins people over with her incredible charisma and gentle soul. Elisa isn't really intimidated by Isabelle and rather curious of the reasons of Isabelle's animosity towards her.
Is there something more behind Isabelle's hate towards Elisa? What will happen when she breaches the threshold of Elisa's patience?
Unexpectedly... at least for me, because I started that book without even bothering to read the description. If you love Gossip Girl, you'd like that book too.
Who wouldn’t like a fan-fiction of Blair and Serena?! I rarely read stories about them or maybe I just missed it. I hope there’s more of this. Queen Bee Vs The Goodie. A nice quick read. :))
I want more. I’m kinda ssd about the ending a HFN :((
First read this book in my teens on wattpad and I loved it. Decided to take a bit of a trip down memory lane and reread a few books in my wattpad library lol. The story is good, pretty interesting but the grammar is a little on the subpar side. Overall it was fun to revisit a story my teenage self loved.
Teenage romance with always known rule that governs passions – I love to hate you.
It was a lovely read about very experienced even old women put in teenage bodies. Pure fantasy! What a dream to have a young flexible body and imagination of a mature woman! Teenagers do not act like that😊
However, the adolescent age can be really energy consuming, as far as can remember. If I were behaving like that being a eighteen-year-old, I would be burnt out quicker than a pine cone in a fire.
What really caught my attention was that both main characters are adorable. They are top of the class, popular and bold. Still full of fears with secrets kept hidden inside, thus they are so attractive. At times I was wondering if they are capable of any deep emotions after behaving like little indisciplined domestic pet animals. In the beginning they just follow their instincts out of curiosity or (?)boredom. At the same time they are both high flying to get what they want/need most. Step by step they evolve and it is easier to sympathize with them.
It is a quick read with two quick lessons worth memorizing. First one: some words should never be spoken. Second one: before you decide to give up due to your ineffectiveness, try hard, then again try harder because the other one is still waiting for your movement. Nevertheless, the second lesson could be more emphasized in the story.
