Most of the information in this book is things we know we're supposed to do for better mental and over all health. The problem is we forget, and we start doing things the easy way. Unplug from all of your electronic devices and do things the old fashion way sometimes. Use a map instead of GPS, write thoughts and ideas down, stimulate your brain by reading, doing puzzles and brain teasers. Eat healthy. We know we're supposed to do these things but we live in a fast paced busy world. Take time to distress, relax, and get lots of sleep. Your body and your mind will thank you.
This book doesn't take long to read but it is a good reminder of the things we need to do to stay healthy and hopefully ward off problems as we age.
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

Im not getting anywhere! I need to focus on what's really important

Techniques are simple. Everyday things that we take for granted are reminded. We use and depend on too many electronics. Our brains have become lazy . A reminder of vitamin deficiencies are very important and learning how to focus on one thing at a time.

Misleading

Its not a terrible book; its just not what the titles say. There's nothing in here I'd call a "technique" or really even a strategy. If I concede the point, they're certainly not "advanced". Get good rest, eat good food and avoid stress... Two stars for a fast, if frustrating, read.
