Today: When exploring the abandoned Murkhill Mansion, Felix, Caspar and Drift find Amelie’s diary. Strange things start to happen – the rooms mix themselves up in an impossible maze and the mansion turns into a nightmare world of dragons, dungeons and death-traps that the children cannot escape from. Then Drift goes missing.

Everything that is happening seems to be connected to Amelie and her diary. But what is turning her nightmares into reality? Can Felix and Caspar find Drift? And what happens when Amelie’s rag toys mutate into something far creepier and more dangerous?

Luke Temple was born in 1988. When he was 10, Luke didn't enjoy reading, he was terrible at spelling and found writing hard work. Yet today he's an author, and he's on a mission to show children that they can enjoy reading and writing. When not behind his desk with his writing partners, a one eyed dog and a bald hamster, Luke spends most of his time visiting schools in the UK and internationally, bringing his stories to life with the children he meets.
