Read with my Turkish host family's children. All the standard undersea elements are here: a shipwreck, a treasure chest full of gold, a giant octopus, a shark. A missed opportunity to do something interesting and different although I guess it's an early reader storybook. I just wish the language were a little less stilted; I feel really awkward reading these Biff and Chip etc. books aloud, like English isn't my mother tongue.

***
OK book, too much stuff about swimming (boring) and too little about the kids getting into the aquarium.

These adventures teach a lot about finding something under the sea. It intrigues the child into thinking about numerous possibilities under the sea. Finding an Octopus guarding a treasure is hilarious too. Well written
