Oh,this was really good...a different MC book....

OLYMPIA...spoilt,rude,pampered heiress




Boone has faced a tragedy in his life and as a result as well as being VP for his club he is also a volunteer fire fighter ( a biker and a fireman...yes I was in fantasy heaven )
He first meets Olympia when he is called out to a fire at her home...

Fast forward 4 years when circumstances bring them together again.
Even though Olympia is rude and demanding and looks down her nose at him,he is fascinated by her...but because of the way she treats him he wants revenge....

Olympia has her life mapped out for her as the local Mayor's daughter and doesn't need a hot,sexy biker getting in the way..but she is drawn to him.

Something happens which Boone uses to his advantage....although he knows when Olympia finds out she will hate him.

I could not put this down.
I loved Boone...
I had a love/hate thing for Olympia..but found her fascinating

With so many biker books out there it's difficult for some to hold my attention...but this totally did...

Looks like being a great series...
To all MC fans I would definitely recommend giving this one a go......

Firetrap was an ok read for me. It wasn't the best thing I've ever read but certainly not the worst. The story moves along rather quickly and I did smile quite a few times at the situation since I am a big fan of the movie Overboard. At some point I may read the next books to see how this story plays out.

Well, this is my first review of a book I have edited and decide it was time to share with you what I thought of it.

First off, let me say I actually really enjoyed reading this. I'm not a massive erotica type reader and if I hadn't been given the opportunity of editing this book, I may not have read it at all ... which is a shame! This book has lots of attitude, that it grabs you and refused to let go.

The plot is well written, with a well thought out progression through the book. You get to know the characters, understand their personalities and why they act as they do, and its not all sex, sex, sex - which is very refreshing! I like the fact there is a main underlying story with the main characters relationship as a sort of main side story - it's not just focused on them. And as for the characters, it's nice to see well rounded, 3-Dimensional ones that you can relate to, understand and want to read about.

The story mainly revolves around Boone and Olympia, which is actually really fun to read. The fact their personalities clash, yet there's that constant sexual tension between them, makes for an exciting read on it's own. But behind these two main characters, you have the violent presence of 'Pyro' ... Mr. I like to set fires and kill people who get in my way. You don't see or hear much of him in the book, just the devastation he leaves in his wake. You get a glimpse of his personality at the end, which I assume is to make you want to read book 2 - but then, who wouldn't want to read book 2?

Before you ask, yes there is sex. It's a little darker and unexpected what happens, but then again, it kinda makes you like Boone a little more - in some strange, bizarre way. The books isn't overly sexed out, which is nice. Whats the point in reading a book that is all about sex and nothing else ... it'd be kinda boring, if that was the case. Her descriptions of the acts themselves are in well written and done in good taste ... if I can put it that way. Yeah, some words may offend people, but if you're easily offended then you shouldn't be reading books like this!

I know you may think I'm being a bit biased, what with being the editor, but I'm as honest as you can get. I'm not the type of person who gives 5 stars willy nilly, just because I edited the book. Honestly, I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this book, as it's not my type of genre at all, which just goes to show you ... a well written book, with an enticing story line, captivating characters and gripping endings, can convert anyone.

If you haven't read this book yet, I suggest adding it to your list and get read for a really enjoyable ride! You won't be disappointed!

Let me just say this book is like the description says – it’s like the film Overboard with a dollop of wrong thrown in!

Although it is wrong, and at one moment I was saying..’surely he isnt going to do this’ (and then he did), I really, really enjoyed reading it! Why? Because its different! And the anticipation of what was going to happen made me on edge...it provoked those feelings!!!

I absolutely HATED Olympia – but I think that the was idea and I totally fell in love with dirty old Boone (OMG his brand of sex is off the charts!!)

It’s a serial so now I have to wait for part 2…but I will defo be getting – I need to know what happens!

I’m in two minds about this book for while I really did enjoy it I found the story a bit odd, it strays from my usual MC romance which I was fairly excited about but there is one bit which has my questioning the ethics and morality of it all. Other than that I thought it was a truly great read that shows great promise as a series so long as the ultimate mystery gets answered thoroughly.

The main characters are Olympia and Boone; Olympia a girl who’s grown up on the right side of the seemingly perfect picket fence. She has been struggling with reality and life without really living, she is engaged to a boring yet seemingly perfect person and is making her dream house with Boone working as a contractor trying to make her the perfect bathroom. Boone is MC royalty being the son of the leader of the club; he has watched Olympia with great interest since the night he assisted in putting out a house fire which killed her mother. However there is a mystery, a greater power at play who has not only killed Olympia’s mother but is now putting Olympia’s life at risk and giving her a head injury which causes her to lose her memory and Boone to put a plan into action placing him in her life. This is the part I had personal issues with as I felt there could have been many other ways for Boone to become part of Olympia’s life but instead the author chose false pretences and a similar plan to ‘Overboard’ film. Despite this however I will still continue with the series to see how it turns out and see how the mystery is solved.

The storyline is as described above and I found it to be good except from the small part I didn’t like however the rest was a different take on the biker romances I usually read making it original and a good read. The pacing was good and the suspence built has made me want to continue with the rest of the series.

3.5 stars all good except from the small part; I have also marked the middle as a spoiler as I felt I had to go into detail to talk about the one bit in the book that I didn’t like.

Olympia is the mayors daughter, she's a spoilt little rich kid who has learned how to wrap all the men in her life around her little finger. She is demanding, rude and stuck up. She lost her mum in a fire 4yrs ago, it was also the first time she met Boone. Boone is a bad boy biker, he lost his wife Rita to a fire also. He's a legitimate contractor and has two boys. When Olympia looses her memory after an explosion at her house, Boone finds her and tricks her into believing him and his sons are her family. What could possibly go wrong right?

This book is very overboard-esc, but I loved it. Olympia is a selfish, stuck up woman but I feel like most if it is because she's been able to get away with it for so long. Boone is bad boy biker with no respect for woman. They're both fighting this undeniable attraction neither wants to admit they feel. Once Olypmia looses her memory, she becomes a much nicer person and Boones infatuation with her increase. They both want each other more than ever now. But I fear the repercussions for both of them when they're found out or Olympia regains her memory. This book has left me craving more of this world and asking questions like what will happen next, who is this person with the lust for fire and what does that have to do with Olympia and with Boones MC?

I gave this book five stars, I was unable to put it down once I picked it up, it dragged me into the story and held me captive there. I didn't want it to end, but I am so glad there are going to be more. I adored the ideas behind this story and infinite ending possibilities. I can't wait to read more

Brilliant start to Soul Scorchers Mc series

What a start to this series it has so many brilliant aspects . It will you have you intrigued and keep you hooked waiting for many questions to be answered. Boone is VP of soul scorchers Mc and also a volunteer firefighter who enjoys his kink in and out of the bedroom. Olympia has lived trough a tragic event that has shaped her into been a spoilt daddy's girl who always gets what she wants no matter who or what stand in her way. Boone and Olympia have crossed paths on many occasions but not in the way Boone would like she maybe younger than him but it doesn't stop him from wanting her. Find out what happens when tragedy strikes again and these two are pushed together . Get ready for the sparks that will ignite one hell of a ride.

I really enjoyed reading Firetrap. I loved the characters of Olympia/Sally and Boone and the entire Soul Scorchers MC. Boone is many things he is the VP of the MC a handyman and a volunteer fire fighter. Olympia is the daughter of the mayor and is engage to an ATF agent. I was hooked on the first page and was overly excited to read Firetrap. This book reminded me of Overboard in some ways and I loved that movie and the theme worked well with this story. This book was exciting and setting you up for how the series starts out with a bang. There is a lot going on in this book one there is an arsonist setting fires and Olympia losing her memory and can't remember a thing and then there is Boone helping her out.

I can not wait for book two this is a great dark/mc read to enjoy and the sex is hot too!

4.5 STARS! I really didn't have any expectations when I began this book and was pleasantly surprised when I was sucked into the story right off the bat. The synopsis hit the nail on the head with the reference to the movie Overboard and I loved how the author took that theme and blended it with a MC story. The only negative about the story was the length, it was too short and I wanted more, much much more. This story has a little bit of everything rolled into one. You have the typical sexy as sin biker who's into BDSM, dirty kinky sex with a bunch of dirty talk, the resistant woman who wants nothing to do with said biker and then gets amnesia and a crazy arsonist that adds the drama portion to the story. Loved the story, loved the characters and can't wait until the next book.

Wow I loved this book.

It is well written and thought out .

It has an edge re the memory loss and my other big thing it has humour.
I had a good chuckle in parts.
yes there is sex but it doesn't take away from the story it is part of the stor.

The characters are well thought out I can see why this has been compared to the film overboard with goldie and mel.
But this is different and it is not a poor imitation, it is a golden original.

I really enjoyed this book.

Very much looking forward to next in the series.

Wow, Firetrsp is an exciting and thrilling start to this series. Boone is a biker with a lot of pain in his soul and Olympia is a spoiled heiress. I wouldn't reveal to much. There are other characters who you want to care about like Grinch, who I believe has more to him than meets the eye. If your a fan of the movie Overboard than I can tell you, that you will love this book. Another great read by C L Riley.

Good first part -

I liked the story and can't wait for the next installment. The attraction between Boone and Olympia/Sally is strong. They both feel it and fight it. The book definitely has an Overboard type storyline. I have my suspicions as to who Pyro is and am anxious to find out if I am right

Smooth twisting hot

Hot from the beginning. Like the little twist were thrown in as well as the cliffhanger. Can't wait to read the rest of this series. Everybody join me. You get it all, hot sexy bikers and hot sex. In my opinion there is nothing better. I need to move.

It is a 4 part serial ...100 pages at .99 each. All the parts are out now. You can also get it in one book now. It was a great read. It had great characters and a story line full of surprises and twist. Rated very good
