The hot and thrilling conclusion to the Body Work Trilogy, following The Masseuse and The Distraction

Anna Rossi walked away from Alec Flynn to keep her family and friends safe. But she can't protect her heart from him, no matter how hard she tries...

Time has done nothing to quell Anna's need for Alec. She knows that she did the right thing walking away; the constant media attention that Alec's been getting for testifying against Maxim Stein and Force Enterprises is evidence enough of that. But no matter how many times she warns herself that Alec is dangerous, she just can't stay away—even after her connection to him once again threatens her life...

Alec knows the evidence he has against Max could stop him from hurting anyone ever again. But when it's revealed that Alec stands to inherit everything from Max's loss, his testimony is called into question—and Max could walk free putting Anna in harms' ways once...

The Confession is the last book in The Body Works Trilogy. The books must be read in order.

The Confession begins two and half months after where The Distraction left off. Anna and Alec still love each other, but they are not together anymore. Alec doesn’t want Anna used against him because of his involvement with Maxim.

Why didn’t you try to change my mind after that night on the bridge?

For the same reason you ended it in the first place. Because I’m the worst thing that’s ever happened to you.

So sad. I feel like Anna and Alec faced so much in the first two books and they are still battling to be with each other. It’s never a dull moment in their relationship.

Anna is distraught and doesn’t know what to do with herself. She isn’t eating and she’s still hopelessly in love with Alec. All she can think of is Alec, but she tries very hard to move forward. If only her heart would let her.

Alec feels guilty for all the things he has put Anna through, even though his actions were indirect, but it still hurts him. He pushes Anna away and even **GASP** enters a new relationship with Janelle. I didn’t see that coming and I was okay with it. I wanted this mild tension. I wanted to see why Alec is acting the way he’s acting. I liked reading him pushing Anna away.

There was a sadness in him I couldn’t touch, and it worried a hole right through the middle of my chest.

During all of that. Alec is preparing for his testimony against Maxim Steim, which adds a whole slew of drama. Max is well connected and he isn’t going to make it easy on Alec. Max doesn’t want Alec to testify and Max will do ANYTHING to stop Alec.

All of this pushes and tests Alec and Anna’ s relationship.

I was his anchor, and he was mine.

I loved Alec Flynn. And nothing about that felt wrong.

Anna and Alec are desperate to find anything that can help Max go to prison for good. They work together in finding Jessica Rowe. As they work together the sexual tension is apparent and it’s hard to ignore the lingering feelings.

Tell yourself whatever you need to… That you don’t need me. That I’m not yours. But don’t make the mistake of believing it. Slow or not, this ends in the same place with you and me.

Every time I touch you, it shakes me. Every touch, even when it seems meaningless.

There’s a good amount of build-up and anticipation. People are after Anna, Anna still loves Alec, Alec continues to push Anna away and Max is still the crazy villain. The ending is very climatic and a lot happens. It’s an explosive ending and it will leave you feeling breathless and satisfied.

If you are a fan of the series, you will be happy with the conclusion.

Everyone needs this book (series) in their lives. I'm just saying...No spoilers here.

Sierra Kincade took me on quite a ride with these two characters. I love Alec and Anna and am sad that this is the last book of the series. Regardless, Kincade does a wonderful job of closing out this story.

Alec and Anna are both hurting based on how the last book ended and I can't say much of what happens because I don't want to ruin this book for anyone, but these characters have been through a whole hell of a lot and they are still both standing...somehow.

As the story progresses, it is clear they both still love each other. Anna is deeply affected by their separation and her father and Amy definitely try to protect her as well as help her get through the pain. Alec is still feeling guilty about what happened and as he prepares to testify against Maxim, things continue to take a turn for the worse for these two. There were some gasps and things that had me shaking my fist at Kincade wondering what she was going to put these two (and me!) through but in the end, I knew (ok...hoped) they would find their way back to each other.

There were some definite ups and downs for these two and there is a great mix of action, mystery, and of course, sexy times. I can’t say much outside of the fact that I will definitely miss Anna and Alec’s story and wouldn’t be opposed to seeing a follow up story for Amy and Mike…you know, if that were an option.
If you haven’t started this series yet, definitely get moving - I loved everything about it!

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the review copy!

Well, the conclusion to the Body Works trilogy is definitely explosive. I will give it that.

Months after Anna leaves Alec because of the danger he keeps putting her and her friends in, she's still pining for him. Like "fantasizing sexy times with her while with clients" pining. While it's obvious that everyone around her is worried (there's somebody with her at all times), she tells them that she's fine. No need to worry. Alec who? And all that jazz. No one's buying it, not even me.

When Anna's life is threatened again, Alec reappears and it looks like he may be sticking around for good. Or maybe not...? This guy was all over the place. With the impending trial and his future on the line, his inability to talk about any sort of future with Anna was understandable. He didn't want to make promises he couldn't keep and he didn't want to hold her back. Honestly, Alec is a pretty stand up guy. But after all of this, he would then turn around and swear that he would never leave her, that he would always be there for her. It was a constant back and forth that it's no wonder Anna was so messed up.

Then there's Anna. It was nice to see her relationships with people outside of Alec. I'm not a fan of relationships where the two people seem to disregard everyone around them once they're together, and in the first two books, this was Alec & Anna - wrapped up only in each other. In Confession we get to see more of her relationship with her father, who I loved. I also liked the extra additions of Mike (honestly, I wouldn't mind reading a story about him and Amy). Also, seeing Anna figure out what she wanted to do with her life and finally seeking out help to talk about what happened to her both in her past past and the more recent past. It takes courage to ask for help, but it showed a strength that the author talked about a lot, but it finally came to light.

So, here's the thing, I liked these books, but I didn't love them. The first one was insta-love. The second one was more of the getting to know you type faze. The third was non-stop drama and action. Oh, and sex. A lot of sex. I didn't really feel an emotional connection with the lead characters, only the physical. I didn't understand why Anna couldn't live without Alec. The author never seemed to go beyond the physical connection and I had a really hard time understanding how Anna felt safe with Alec when all he did was constantly put her in danger.

The parts that I really liked were the crime bits. I liked the unraveling of secrets and the 'who done it' mystery that surrounded this one. That's what kept me reading, not the love story.

This conclusion made me want to rip my hair out and then shortly thereafter scream for joy. So much drama and so much hot sex…..I will never never never look at my heavy bag the same way again. FUCK ME.

I was only a few chapters in and I was ready to kill Alex. Jump through those mother fucking pages and KILL HIM. I started tweeting at Sierra. I started angrily swiping my kindle. I told my husband that I couldn’t stop reading to make dinner and that God gave him hands. All because I had to get past THAT PART. This book will rip the emotions from you whether you’d like for them to come out or not.

Anna. oh Anna. One great thing in this series is that she starts talking to a shrink. She seriously needs one. Alec could make use of one too, but…baby steps. Anyway, I couldn’t blame Anna for her reaction to The News. Of course, her reaction results in a much worse situation than mine (the glare of my husband combined with slight heartburn). She’s in danger once again, and Alec is being A Dick, and the urge to run is high.

I was begging and pleading for them to get back together. Thinking that maybe if I coaxed the pages along and talked to them nicely that they would give me what I wanted. Which was hot, delicious sex, OBVIOUSLY. Note, it worked. So – you’re welcome. My sweet-talking and quiet whispers delivered some intense, sexy, steamy and off the charts AMAZING sex scenes. One involves a heavy bag (as noted above). I started eying my husband, wondering if he was over the whole ‘no dinner thing’ yet while glancing at the basement door that leads to my heavy bag. (Spoiler alert: THAT didn’t work).

This conclusion is intense and incredible. Sierra works her magic once again by creating a story with flawed characters who I still love. The ending had me smiling, giddy, and unbelievably happy. WE EARNED THAT ENDING, Anna and Alec!

Now…I’d like Amy & Mike’s story, please. *winks*

OMG I have been obsessed with Anna & Alec from book 1. I really didn't know how life was going to go on after I finished book 2 while waiting on book 3 to finally come out! It was SOOOOO worth the wait.
**SPOILER ALERT**

I could not believe how heart broken I was with these characters when I was reading that Janelle and Alec were now a couple! DEVASTATED is the only way to describe it. I had pure hatred for Janelle just thinking about how she obviously knew the depth of Anna & Alec's relationship but still wanted to be with him. Once I read it was only a cover to protect Anna, it was like a ton of bricks had lifted and I held out hope that Anna & Alec could get back together. This book had some twists and turns that I did not see coming. However, some of the storyline was kind of obvious in how things would play out. The strongest feeling I had was that I wished that I had started a diary of my thoughts-emotions-reactions in a play-by-play type style written to the author Sierra. I wanted her to have a full understanding of how her talents really move and inspire readers like me that become completely consumed with her work. BRAVO Sierra!!! I cannot wait until your next series, or whatever you have next for us all to enjoy. Although I don't dabble in reading other genres, I feel like if Sierra Kincade wrote-I am buying and reading it! Oh how I will miss this couple. I felt a sense of sadness after I finished reading the 50 S.O.G trilogy. I think that same type of feeling has crept in since I know this is the end of Anna & Alec's love story. My take away of "The Confession" is it will be damn hard for any man to compare to Alec Flynn's type of devotion, love, and faithfulness in spite of all odds! I can only pray to find that type of love one day...LOVE!

The Confession -Sierra Kincade (The Body Works # 3) 5 STARS

Anna Rossi has given up the only man she has ever stuck around for , to keep her few friends and family safe from the harm he brought to their relationship .She is losing hope and her heart is breaking more every day she is apart from Alex.Until she decides to stick by and fight for the man she loves ...that is until she finds out he may have moved on already.

Can Anna Get Alex back or is she trying to win a losing battle ?

I'm so sad to see this trilogy come to an end .I was hesitant to read it .That's why it took me so long to write a review .
I enjoyed Alex and Anna's tortured , broken & vulnerable storyline .Thinking how in the hell they were ever going to find happiness again after so many heartaches & Disappointments have surpassed them both on a near daily basis.
I love Sierra's writing , she manages to keep you on the edge of your seat. Clenching your teeth with roaring action even thought you are reeling with sorrow from reading the heartache these two characters have to go thought to keep each other close .

The Jaw dropping, sensual love scenes , between these two were raw and made your toes curl.

I will miss Alex & Anna , but they will live on my bookshelves to reread their tearstained and teeth chattering journey forever.
I will be buying every book Sierra writes in the future , she has a loyal fan in me.

After reading all 3 of these books, whoa. I’m literally exhausted. But in a good way. There’s so much push and pull with Alec & Anna. I like it, but sometimes I just wanted to punch her in the face and say, “stop being so weak and just walk away and act like you don’t care” but then, knowing how Alec was.... I just couldn’t wait for him to sweep her off her feet again. This was a good conclusion. I’m excited to read more into Amy & Mike in book 4!

The finale of the trilogy about Anna and Alec. Despite both their insecurities, Alec's trying to protect Anna, without letting her know what is really going on and Anna's rash behavior, they reunite, admit their love for each other and have their HEA, with more drama and danger before the curtain falls.

This is the first book I have read by this author, even thou this book comes from a trilogy I found this story very easy to read and easy to follow the base story was really easy to pick up. We meet Anna Rossi who has walked away from love of her life, her everything to keep her, family and friends safe. As time goes on the time apart has not healed the heart from Alec Flynn……….
Everyday Anna tells herself that this is the life she needs and it’s keeping the people close to her safe, but at any opportunity her mind wonders back times with Alec and the way he made her feel. Anna feels that even thou Alec let her walk out of his life that he hasn’t really let her go and is still in the background.
One night brings Anna to a charity event that she feels deeply about and she is dressed to impress, before the night even begins she bumps into Alec with his new girlfriend Janelle an Ex FBI agent who was protecting him while he is standing trail against his ex-boss Max Stein. The chemistry between Alec and Anna has not been lost and Anna has to get out of the place as quick as possible, but Alec catches up with her in the kitchens and he can’t resist her and this scares Anna and she leaves the event early with her best friend Marco just home she spins him a spins that she needs an early night and heads straight out the door one he is out of sight to a bar to drink Alec out of her system, but the next morning she wakes up next to dumpster and finds out that she has lost five whole days . The last thing she remembers that she was driving to the bar, not sure of her surroundings and her safety she hears Alec’s voice and clinches to him dearly. Alec takes her to hospital and gets her checked over and stays with her till her father arrives. The test come back that Anna had been drugged with a date rape that explains that why she can’t remember a thing but the tests conclude that Anna had not been raped.
One minuet Alec is there the next he is gone, Anna heart can’t understand. Alec has a girlfriend but he found her stayed with her communicated with her friends and dad to make her safe it was too hard to understand that Alec was back in her life. Once Anna is discharged from the hospital Alec insists that he is the one to protect her but Anna fills that she can no longer fight the pull and they should be together and heads over to what was once they home .While awaiting Alec return she comes across some photos of her stay with Max he was using her to get Alec if he continues with the trail he would release them let they did not release any memories from the five days.
Anna stays under the watchful eye of Alec and the FBI while the trail was continuing, the longer they spent time together the harder it became to be apart and maybe Anna started to fill the she might be able to have Alec back in her life they could be one again after he arrange a wonderful secret dinner party where she spent time with family friends and Alec but what he arrange was for her to have one more night to perfection so Alec could say goodbye to keep her safe and the photos to never too be released to the public he couldn’t let that happen instead he would go to prison for the rest of his life and not have Anna.
That’s where Leave you to read the end of the story, to find if they can become one again for forever……….

Anna and Alec have been apart for months, and in the very first page we can feel how painful that has been on Anna. She’s worn ragged, exhausted, daydreaming frequently, and too thin. She’s lost all sense of concentration, and she wants desperately to be back with Alec. She has to keep reminding herself that she’s apart from him for a reason…a very good reason. If only her body would stop wanting him.

It’s always hard being the leaver (is that a word?) in a relationship–the one that pulls the plug. It’s almost easier to be broken up with because it gives that sort of finality to it. And I think that’s why Anna is struggling (aside from the fact that she’s still desperately in love with Alec), because she knows she ended it which means he won’t go against it. So instead she struggles. She wiles away her time with work and Amy and her father, who won’t leave her alone. They think she’ll crack apart if they leave her alone for one night. It’s when she see’s Alec again, at a place where she wasn’t expecting, and in a situation she definitely didn’t expect, that everything shatters violently. Her heart, her mind, her body…all on a string attached to him. It robs her of thought, but it also sends a crack through her heart.

Alec has always done everything in his power to protect Anna. He sacrifices, he helps, he supports, all for her. And when she left him, he let her. He knew all along, way back when they first met, that he would only ever end up hurting her. It wasn’t easy, watching her break apart their relationship, but it was needed. A sigh of relief but also a fierce gut punch that would last for years, maybe decades. But he’s still left with the trial. With Maxim Stein and that whole mess. It’s beginning to run him ragged, and everything he’s ever done to protect Anna is going up in flames.

What an amazing conclusion to this trilogy. It had everything I, as the reader, needed. We got that unbearable soul crunch just seeing them see each other for the first time post-break up. Oh man did it hurt. And the circumstance of that meeting–an even bigger hurt. But we also felt that vibe, that extreme sexual tension that has always tethered them. It’s as strong as ever, maybe even stronger, and that tether won’t let them part for long. The Confession is an explosion of emotion–sadness, heartbreak, love, lust, sex (that’s an emotion right?), greed, danger…Everything comes crashing together in this final installment. The writing was superb, as always, the sex was ah-plenty (indeed), and the danger was in high levels. Anna and Alec have to work together to fight the one huge road block to their relationship, and it will take everything they have to defeat it. And in the meantime? Well, Anna and Alec do what they do best…create raw passion. I’m sad to see these characters go, and I hope I get to see some of them in small snippets in the future. And I am definitely looking forward to more of Ms. Kincade’s work because she is an amazing storyteller.

Ok I have to admit this series has been up and down for me. In the first book Anna was meh for me then she grew and blossomed in the second. However, pissed me off at the end of the second then during this book drove me mad until she finally gets her head out of her ass. Unfortunately she had to go through more trauma until this happens. But thankfully Alec I have liked throughout the series. He's the strong one who holds them both together. He's the heart and steadiness of this duo where Anna is the more flaky of the two.

At the end of book two Anna dumps Alec because she's trying to protect her friends from getting more hurt from his life. Now she's really regretting her decision and at a bit of a stand still in her life. She's trying to move forward but her heart is not in it. It's not until Alec starts to move on does she really regret her decision to let him go.

"I make him happy, if that matters to you." (ugh so mad at this point. I hope what they are alluding too is NOT going on)

"You never came," I said quietly. "I thought you were done with us. You'd moved on." (ugh! Why did you dump him Anna if you wanted him to chase you? The female mind truly baffles me and I'm a female)

But not is all as it seems for this duo but Anna at times was too daft to really see what was going on. Now Anna has more trouble her way making Alec's true feelings start to show themselves.

"What happened to me scares me, and losing control scares me, and you, you scare me more than anything."

From the beginning Alec has always been the rock to Anna's wishy washy ways. Now he just has to convince Anna that their relationship is worth the risk.

"You're it for me. There's been no one since you."

"Not for you. Anna, I would give you anything. I would do anything."

I did like this series but it definitely had its strengths and weaknesses. However, I have to admit that I'm glad that the trilogy is over. I liked where it left off and there is potential for off shoot series from this one.

THE CONFESSION by Sierra Kincade was a heart pounding, wildly erotic, fantastic conclusion to a superb trilogy. Anna and Alec are two characters that will forever be embedded in my heart. These two have been through Hell and back and they deserve their happily ever after, and this author delivered it in a beautiful and captivating way. I am forever grateful that I took a chance on this (new to me) author. I would've been heartbroken if I missed out on this intriguing love story.

In the conclusion of book two in the trilogy, our hearts were broken when Anna walked away from Alec's dangerous life. She also walked out on the other half of her heart. She gave everything she had to this man, but when he brings danger and complications to her family and friends, sacrifices must be made. Alec was her light, her anchor, her soul. To walk away from all of that breaks something inside of you. Anna was free from Alec, but she was left empty, broken, and alone. Everywhere that Anna looks, she is reminded of the intense passion that they once shared. But how long can you stay away from a love like that? No matter what she tells herself, no matter how much danger she is in, she can't seem to stay away. But being back in Alec's arms comes with a price. There is an enemy out there that will do anything to shut Anna and Alec up for good.

Receiving this book early has its pros and cons. I missed these characters like crazy. I missed the intense passion that flew off the pages overtime these two are together. Reading this book was bittersweet for me, because I didn't want it to end. I tried to read slowly and soak up every word, but with such beautiful and steamy scenes and enough suspense to keep me on my toes at all times, I couldn't do it. I went full steam ahead reading this book, because with every word and every scene it kept getting better and better. This had a wonderful epilogue and a heartwarming ending that will leave you with such hope and contentment.

Walking away from Alec was the hardest thing Anna ever did but she did it for her family and for her friends. Keeping busy with her job and working with CASA kept her somewhat sane. She still missed Alec a ton and she even thought she saw him a couple of times. Pushing through she decided to go to a gala CASA was holding for the kids and for donors, she wanted to be there and took Marcos the cop/babysitter she had constantly around. Running in to Alec wasn't something she expected. It was all too much so she went home, ditched the sitter and went to a bar. No one saw her again for three days.

When she woke up the second time, she was in the hospital and Alec was there with her, keeping her calm. No one knew anything, hadn't seen anything and couldn't explain how she just vanished for three days. There were reasons, of course but I'm not telling you because I don't want to spoil things! Her dad was there and so was Amy, but Alec kept himself scarce. In the end the draw to each other was too magnetic, they couldn't fight it.

The more Anna was in danger the more Alec wanted to back out of testifying against Max. More and more reasons keep popping up for him to not testify but he battles on because Anna wants him to and he wants to be a good person for her.

Lord this book about killed me. I mean at one point I was texting Corie asking her if everything was going to be alright. In my mind it was totally touch and go for a little while. These books are so freaking good and even though I questioned Anna's sanity at some points (staying with Alec) I was so pissed when she left him. These were read in fast succession. only stopping to feed my family and to go to the bathroom. I couldn't stop reading and if I hadn't had all three books on deck to read I would've been pissed! Read these, if you haven't already. You won't regret it. Leave the author love in the form of a review, she's about the sweetest person I've met.

THE CONFESSION was the perfect conclusion to the Body Works Trilogy. In book three we are still following Alec and Anna’s “relationship”. After the devastating danger in THE DISTRACTION (book two), Anna has decided to move on and tries to live her life without all the threats and potential harm. Only problem is she can’t possibly function without Alec. Her thoughts are completely consumed by him.

When danger strikes once again, Alec is there to pick up the pieces. She realizes that running from him isn’t the answer, but how can they live together with the possibilities of jail time looming over their heads?

***

I LOVED this whole trilogy. It is one of those rare times when I pick a book up without knowing the author and fall madly in love with it. Sierra Kincade’s writing is so descriptive and fast paced.

I loved Anna. She was strong, level headed and wasn’t afraid to speak what’s on her mind.

“I was Anna goddamn Rossi. I’d lived through a kidnapping and attempted murder. I’d survived the rugs that had killed my first mom, and the cancer that had taken the second. I would survive Alec Flynn.”

I loved Alec. He’s the ultimate alpha. He’s protective. He’s bossy. He’s demanding. He’s also sweet and caring. The connection between Alec and Anna is scorching.

“Tell yourself whatever you need to,” he said. “That you don’t need me. That I’m not yours. But don’t make the mistake of believing it. Slow or not, this ends in the same place with you and me.”

I can honestly and confidently say that this is one of my favorite series of all times, and I’m so sad to see it end!

The Confession

I received a print copy in exchange for an honest review from Berkley. The Confession is the third book in the Body Works Trilogy. At first the book started off as a reminder of the lesson in accepting the things that aren't good for you but of course we all know that Anna can't walk away from Alec no matter how negatively being with him affects her life. Then comes the reason why so many girls can't walk away from their bad boy. Anna holds onto that while Alec struggles to keep her at arms length in order to protect her from what he's involved in. The bad boy wanting to protect the good girl from being marred by his own shadow. (The only thing I didn't like about the break up part was the whole can't eat, can't sleep without you thing. I would have liked her to be able to be strong even without Alec but when you're that desperately emotionally dependent on someone else to function it has devastating effects on the weaker person.) What enraged me even further still was the in your face rebound Alec pursued just to convince her of all the reasons why he wanted to push her away. (Which I really hated) But the ending eventually brought it all together even with all the drama. Even though I didn't care for all the stuff Alec was doing I could sympathize with why he was doing it even if I didn't agree with it. The Confession is well written and cleverly concluded. Thanks Sierra for a great trilogy.

5+ Stars!!!

Ohh, I loved this book from cover to cover. It was hot and sexy and super delicious. Anna and Alec are such an awesome couple. They have learned how to work on their relationship and build trust with each other. Through all the hard times that they endured they still had an undying love for each other. Alec could not keep Anna out of his sight and always made sure she was protected and safe. Anna could not live without Alec's touch and love that he gave to her. Their time apart was hard for both of them I could feel their pain as I read the pages. Anna quit eating, food did not taste the same without Alec. They needed each other; body, mind and soul.

This story is more than just a hot and sexy love story. It has a great plot behind it that really make you sit on the edge of your seat. For me, I had a hard time putting the book down because I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. Sierra Kincade has a great writing style that draws the reader in from page one of the book and then has you holding on to the very last page. I will miss the ongoing and undying love that Anna and Alec have for each other and this is a set of books that I know I will read again.

I look forward to reading more from Ms. Sierra Kincade!

Much like the rest of the series, not sure what to think of this.

I have to say, in this one Anna was completely all over the place. Like, seriously, get a grip and make up your mind, woman. I honestly wanted to punch her and Alec most of the book. Anna went through some horrible things, but she kept pushing them down and using sex to forget. I got it, it was her coping mechanism, but it became too much for me. Enough already, girl.

Alec was no better, completely drown in guilt, he kept pushing Anna way, and then bringing her back to have sexy times. He also constantly making decisions for Anna, and never told her pretty much anything. Seriously, she had to pretty much torture him so he could say two words.

Super infuriating, these two.

There were still some pretty intense and action packed moments, mostly at the end of the book, which kept me really interested. However, all in all, this was the book that I liked the least in the series. Even if I liked how things ended for them and the bad guys.

I’ll still check out the author in the future, though, and see what other things she comes up with.

Michelle's Review:

The third book in the Bodyworks trilogy “The Confession” by Sienna Kincaid, is the equivalent to a bungee jump of the St. Petersburg Bridge in Florida, where the book is set. My heart really sank when I read about the Alec, moving on from Anna , sure that’s what she said she wanted, but when are men going to realized , women never mean that. Just like when we say we’re “fine,” we are not! I am not going to spoil any of the story, I said this about book one and two, there are so many twist in it’s almost impossible to not give away something critical to the story. I loved this couple, their family and their friends, they are what you want in a support system, and they are there for Anna the whole way. The villain is bad enough to hide until the end of the book.

I love a good mystery and this series is good. I love a good love story and as this one goes it is really good but that drop to the bottom, was a long way back to the top

You have to read all three, the trilogy is too good not to and you’ll kick yourself if you don’t. Hold on as you read you won’t know what’s happening next.

5 starts for this book and the trilogy

Review: I was given a copy of The Confession by netgalley and Sunshine and Mountains book blog for an honest review.
Anna walked away from Alec to keep her family and friends safe. She is having a hard time protecting her heart from him. It doesn’t matter how hard she tries. Time has done nothing to keep her feelings at bay. But she knows she did the right thing in walking away from him. But the constant media attention that Alec is getting from testifying is evidence that she made the right choice. It doesn’t matter how many times she’s told herself to stay away and that Alec is dangerous she still wants him. But her life is being threatened again. Alec know that the evidence against Max could stop him from hurting anyone ever again. But when its revealed that when Max’s loss that Alec stands to inherit everything, his testimony is called into question and he knows this could put Anna in harm’s way and he doesn’t want to do that. Will they ever get a chance at happiness? Alec is unsure.
This book sure kept me on my toes. I enjoyed every bit of the story and I would recommend it to my friends. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars!

Rating: 4.5 stars

Alec and Anna are back at it again in this final installment of the Body Works trilogy. This pairing is intense as are all of their feelings for one another. They're fighting against what they want and need and it's a fierce, trying, angst filled battle. It seems only a select few are reliably on their side as they're battling against: Court. Lies. Kidnapping. Guns. Tasers. This trilogy has had a perfect balance of romance and sexual tension with thrilling and suspenseful underlying issues. When you know two people are better together as they're more whole and functional than when they're apart, you're willing to risk anything to fight for that person. That's what this installment is about. I'm going to miss Alec and Anna, their families and friends. I'd love to hear Amy, Paisley and Mike's story with appearances from Alec and Anna. Give this a try and find your next book crush!!

I'm garbage. I'm absolute garbage. Like, who sits down to read a fun, fast, sexy story like this one and leaves it with serious plans of changing career directions? Seriously?!

Me. Fucking me.

I regret none of the hours of sleep (and attempts thereto) that I lost to this book - this series - nor any of the inspiration it flung my way.

Alec was awesome. He wasn't moody for no reason. He wasn't perfect, but he wasn't a bonehead, either. He didn't have much money or demand that Anna submit to him at every given opportunity. Or own the whole world - not even act like it. The guy was super fucking sweet. (And a dirty talker. Points!)

And Anna. My God. Alec was awesome? Anna was on fire. She was hilarious and relatable and seriously just fucking cool as fuck. I'd read a note in her voice, if all I had was a note. She had strengths. Vulnerabilities. Some seriously amazing charm.

They're just a nice, steady reminder of why I love love stories so much. I'm sure I'll be re-reading this series soon enough. It certainly earned that right and more.
