I absolutely devoured this book! Every woman needs them an Eli 🤪 he was perfection he listened, applied pressure and was an eater what more can you ask for in a summer fling. Bailey was such a vibe in so glad she let go of all that baggage my girl needed to know she was the prize and Eli surely made her realize that. Such a feel good summer fling book Sage is easily one of my faves!

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🤯 This one was a little outside my comfort zone in regards to the spice. This bordered erotica in my opinion. There were aspects of the story I really enjoyed. I liked how Eli encouraged Bailey to stand up for herself and ask for what she wanted. Bailey definitely needed to set some boundaries with her baby daddies. I liked how Eli did everything in his power to make sure Bailey was taken care of. What I didn’t understand was how Bailey went from naïve sexually to extreme very quickly. This was a Novela so character development and context was limited. I would’ve enjoyed reading a little bit more about Bailey’s upbringing and how she got to where she is now. Overall, I would only recommend this book to someone who is very sexually open-minded and isn’t turned off by extreme spice.

I’m happy for her because ugh them baby daddies. That was a fun vacation time. I’m ready for the next book. Long Island iced tea, extra tea 😂😂😂

Now I can never order a Long Island Iced Tea without extra tea. This book had me hollering laughing, and gave me all the feels. Bailey didn’t have to go in on his eye like that. Plus, one of my favorite tropes is fake dating, and Eli was all in. Bailey got exactly what she needed, with extra tea.

Cute, Spicy, and Exactly the Escape Bailey Needed
"A Long Island Escape" was a cute, sexy novella that gave Bailey the break she desperately needed. Between her intense job as a wedding planner and her outrageously overbearing baby daddies, especially considering her youngest child is already 18, sis was overdue for some peace, pleasure, and a man who actually knew how to give her space.
Enter Eli.
This was very much a love-at-first-sight romance with a fake marriage situation that turned real real fast. Eli was a solid MMC. He knew what he wanted, he knew he was in love, and he gave Bailey room to catch up emotionally without forcing her hand. I loved that about him. He was steady, intentional, and definitely not playing about her.
Bailey and Eli’s chemistry was immediate, and the spice was uninhibited in the best way. They were grown, messy-adjacent, and having a good time, which made the story fun to read. I also laughed every time Eli’s eye was mentioned because it caught me off guard every single time.
Overall, this was a quick, enjoyable, spicy escape with two divorced people finding love, confidence, and a safe place with each other. Bailey needed that reprieve, and Eli understood the assignment.

This one was definitely one of those books that makes you wonder, “What if?”
Imagine taking a week-long vacation to honor and remember your parents, but instead finding yourself letting your guard down and living out some of your wildest fantasies. And when I say wild, I mean the kind of things most people only dream about. While I can only wish a vacation like this was in the cards for me, I had a great time experiencing it through these characters.
What stood out most to me was how this story balanced fun, freedom, and self-discovery with the emotional side of grief and healing. Beneath all the excitement and chemistry, there were moments that reminded me how important it is to allow yourself to live, even while carrying the weight of loss.
This was a fun summer read that transported me to Long Island, gave me plenty of moments to smile, and left me thinking about how one unexpected week can completely change the direction of your life.

man ELi and he puts it tf down do hear me? And he got money!,! They have a time on This Vacation. I loved loved loved the flirty Banter between them, but the nail tech had to be my favorite character, i could tell she was fine💁🏿♀️ sage Bloom Cloud writes a beautiful intoxicating, low stress, luxury vacation on the Page.. the pairing of a confident, plus-sized female and a younger rich MMC immediate, irresistible spark, balancing the playful vacation vibes with intense, deeply felt intimacy.. if you love the movie PHAT GIRLZ you’ll love this !

Bailey went to Port Isle looking for an escape from her everyday life so when she saw Eli at the bar her first day there she knew he could be the escape she needed. As I was reading the book I wasn't quite sure which direction it was going in as it read a little like an erotica since Eli and Bailey were having a lot of sex during the week they were in Port Isle but it also felt a little like woman empowerment with her basically putting herself first and telling the people around her that were trying to control her in a sense that they needed to fall back. I wasn't sure if this was supposed to be a romance because that aspect of the story fell a little short to me. Yes, there were nice things that Eli did for Bailey and they claimed to love each other but I didn't really feel the connection between them to believe that they fell in love.

Bailey sat at that bar and ordered a Long Island with extra tea. Oh, they had a serious laugh at her. Elijah immediately knew she'd never had that drink before. So he ordered her one with less alcohol and extra coke. That was their introduction. They were two strong sexual beings in a place to let loose and let your mind be free and relax. Will they though? Yes, because outside of eating and checking in with loved ones, they were in motion with the potion. What Bailey didn't realize was during this week's time, every day, spending time, moments and his family, Elijah had already fallen. Bailey saw what she had, what he given her, and how Eli made her feel but never saw how Eli was moving towards a real forever with her and their kids together as one. He was intentional towards her but wished she saw how serious he is about her.

Now this is what I call living your life on vacation with no expectations! However, somehow, life gets better when you meet a stranger. Bailey and Eli meets in Port Isle and on Day 1 they go at it! They decide to fake like they are engaged and have mind blowing sex during their time together on the island! And I mean mind blowing! They have a fake proposal and wedding! But of course feelings get involved and Eli wants to continue being with Bailey! Bailey tries to ignore her feelings for Eli but stay friends with him and later realizes that Eli is the one she goes back for her man! When she gets there Eli pulls out the marriage certificate so she can sign and make it official! And they did! Lord it’s me! When I go on vacation. Send me my man! Thank you!😩😩😂😂😂

A Time Was Had

First I must state this. I absolutely hate Bailey’s baby daddies and her initial co-parenting dynamics.
A Long Island Escape was titled correctly because it reflects the story of two people escaping their daily routines to explore something new. I love that Elijah (Eli) fell instantly despite not knowing anything about Bailey. The whole entire vacation was an adventure in pursuing what you want and being your authentic self despite who you disappoint. Bailey and Eli were two flames that became one just by taking a chance. Great read and can’t wait to see what the rest of the series behold.

Love at first sight
Okayyy so I was down for this book.. the intimacy was on point and the exploration was good to the point it set Eli aside from her baby daddy Prince. Bailey needed to really put her other baby daddies in their place especially since the ages of their kids didn’t warrant their actions towards her and their lifestyle didn’t match up. Eli was a great partner on all aspects.. he was in tune with his feelings and progress forward. His children mother was just umm using friendship as a way to stay relevant to be able to move back in when time felt right. This was a good read but Bailey did upset me because why you acting like that. Recommend yessss
Okayyy so I was down for this book.. the intimacy was on point and the exploration was good to the point it set Eli aside from her baby daddy Prince. Bailey needed to really put her other baby daddies in their place especially since the ages of their kids didn’t warrant their actions towards her and their lifestyle didn’t match up. I'm still trying to process what I just read. 😂 I just need to rant for a second.
I genuinely don't know what this book was trying to be. Was it an erotica? A story about healing and putting yourself first? A romance? It felt like the author had a dozen different ideas and decided to throw all of them into one book.
Nothing really flowed together, and the plot felt all over the place. I also never bought the chemistry between the FMC and MMC, it just wasn't there for me.
I don't hate it, and I don't love it... I'm just confused. 🤷♀️
Have y'all read it? If so, please tell me I'm not the only one feeling this way.

This was a great read! We got to meet Bailey and Eli. Bailey was on vacation just needing time to get back to herself. A drink misorder causes her to meet Eli.
He's younger and very attractive. They spend time together as a fake engaged couple. I loved Bailey and Eli's chemistry:
I absolutely hated the fathers of Bailey's children and Eli's ex-wife. They were so messy and demanding! I suggest you read it to find out the spice and adventures that Bailey and Eli got into during their time together.

This story was fantastic. They both helped each other in a way that they both needed. I love the realistic descriptions of each other down to the physical. I love the openness that Eli had. He was confident, strong, smart, healed daily. She was strong, independent, brave, and she was open as well and she deserved all the love that she got from Eli. This was such a beautiful story. I did not want it to end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+

One of the best reads I've read this year. I could not stop reading. Elijah & Bailey had me so invested in their week of adventurous escapades. 🤭
The way Eli made those promises to Bailey at the ceremony. I cried. That man said, "I promise to keep choosing you. Whether that's for a week, a season, or a lifetime. "

Amazing!!!
This is how a summer vacation romance need to be written… Hunny I loved this book down from beginning to end I loved Eli and B so much and I’m glad they got their happily ever after but i’m sad to let them go because i enjoyed them so much and I just need a little more… Those baby daddies were trash and i’m glad she got them all the way together… My first read from this author and not my last

The Vacation and the Eggplant She Needed
I loved this premise from the very beginning. And the cover was stunning.
Bailey felt like a real woman carrying the weight of everybody else's expectations. Watching her choose herself, take a break, and realize that "no" is a complete sentence was one of my favorite parts of the story. Her growth felt very real and she earned it.
Elijah was everything she needed without trying to change who she was. Golden retriever energy all day.
And listen...the heat was litty these two understood the assignment. They were on a luxury beach vacation pucking exactly like two grown adults with undeniable chemistry, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
The characters were well developed, their motivations made sense, and I loved the mature, satisfying ending. This one was a really good time.
