This was a pretty good start to the new protectors series. Marz is a lot like his father in the way he loves and protects those around him, especially the woman he has deemed as his wife. Heir was a little naive about certain things and I can’t decide if that annoyed me more than it endeared her to me. I liked these two together and seeing their love develop. Their story was part second chance lovers and part instalove but I liked the flow of the journey.
This story had some violence and treachery and left me with some questions. The ending with Iman was anticlimactic and the entire story I was left wondering about this Casper and these diamonds that Iman claimed to be his and that’s why he needed Marz to get them back. I would have liked more on that situation since it became a significant part of the connection between Marz and Iman.
I would love an update on Heir and Marz to see how many kids they had and when and how they decided to handle her going to college and him deciding on his future as a protector. 3.5/5 stars
GO MARZ! OMG, loved this first book in the off-springs "Protector" series. Family was everything to Marz. Marz and Heir had that insta love connection. Marz was that 🥷you didn't want to uck with.
I liked both the softness that he had for Heir, his sisters, and mama Neo plus that fierce hardness he carried, when out in those streets working as an enforcer or protecting his wife. It seems that Heir didn't know much of anything about her ex. Jay, which surprised me.
There were actions with killings, but not an overkill. Enjoyed catching up with Papa Merc, Mama Neo, and Marz's family. The mutual love & relationship that Marz & his dad had with each other was beautiful and definitely worth mentioning.
I would like to read about the proposal and upcoming baby.
The series has started off good. I'm also happy that we will get updates on Marz and Heir throughout the series.
I loved Merc so I knew Marz was going to be added to my favorite list. He is definitely his father's son. He was all about protecting Heir from danger. I'm happy that they were able to reconnect. Love always wins even with bumps in the road.
Marz & Heir, were definitely made for one another! I loved their family and friend support! Marz is definitely Mercy through and through, A strong protector! Strong relationships are based on communication and trust! I love how they both handled their complex problems, though it took some time apart! Loved the epilogue and want to see more of them after Heir finish college and then start a family of their own!
Marz and Heir were meant to be. It was a quick love for them, but it was worth it. Got together and hadn’t seen each other for 8 years. They surprisingly end up at the same office and reconnect. I’m glad they did. I love how Marz protected and claimed his wife from jump. Thoroughly enjoyed this one!
I throughly enjoyed this book. I also loved how we still got a bit of Merc and Neo mixed in as well. I read their story prior if you didn’t read it you do get a bit of backstory. Marz and Heir’s story was fast but not that fast that it felt unreal. Thanks for another awesome read B. Love
Great read and so good to see the Protesters in this book! Marz is just like his dad, which is a great thing!! And I absolutely love Heir and her love for her family. I want to see everything the P.S. listed and Shiloh, Winston, Onesty, Ariel, Merci, and Neptune!! I’m ready for them all!!
Marz was every bit his daddy son ! I loved it. Heir and Marz definitely gave the Neo and Merc vibes that I loved. Heir had me ready to shake her a few times but she got her life. I can't wait to read more of them. I'm excited for the others especially Shiloh and Winston now.
Marz and Wifey! Love at first sight and it stayed after not seeing each other for 8 years!!! I love Heir…she’s so soft and gentle, the way she talks and carries herself is just amazing! BDE Marz!!! That man is a protector!! 🥰
I’m glad we are getting to see the kids all grown up. Marz and Heir had chemistry since day one, I love that he came back in her life just in the nick of time.
