Nowhere near enough Lucius for my liking!

Let's talk about weddings, shall we?
I know my dream wedding has always been one in which the groom designates the time and location. One in which the ceremony itself is so completely hedonistic and daunting that two of my BFFs (on the groom's side) have to spike my bathwater with aphrodisiac-laced body oil in such large quantities that I'm basically humping the groom's leg at the altar. The altar that I walked to wearing my see- through gown, so all my private bits are on display for all the wedding guests to gawk at while my beloved waits for me, completely covered in his mighty ceremonial robe. The same altar upon which he will lay me down and fuck me in front of all his friends and family after tearing off my dress. His friends and family. Not mine. Thank goodness for something. After which, in the privacy of our own room he tells me how proud of me he is. Because every woman dreams of a wedding ceremony so completely demeaning that just simply making it all the way through it causes the groom to feel proud. A wedding ceremony that her own family and friends could in no way be allowed to attend.
Good grief. It was so totally over the top that it was just as stupid as it was disgusting. And not one person mentioned it in their review, not even in the negative ones. Not in any of the ones I read anyway. Apparently I'm the only prude out there, but I always thought a wedding should be something sacred. This was like spoof-porn.
And she didn't even get to pick out her own dress.

After the last book that I was disappointed in I thought I would give it a chance with this one.
This couple has totally run out of steam now. It's just a never ending rerun of previous books, same thing over and over. The pointless inner dialogue page after page.
The first 3 books was out of this world, but now it's seems like many series this has run it course.
Draven and Keira's story needs to be wrapped up now, as I feel these lastest books are just spoiling what a great series this is.
I will read when she starts onto the other characters, which I'm more interested in.

5 OMG AMAZING STARS!!!
From start to finished The Pentagram Child: Part 2 just sucks you right in!!!! It was the book that makes you go "just one more chapter then I will go to sleep" and before you no it, it is 5am and you are sitting in bed shocked that you have just finished the book, and that you have just had your mind blown and are now suffering from one of the worst book hang overs you have ever had.
I loved all the new players and that ALL of my boys from the other books were back. Mrs Stephanie Hudson has yet again hit the ball right out of the park with this book.
So pick it up and fall in love all over again with Dominic Draven or any of her other boys. You will not be disappointed

Well Stephanie Hudson, you've done it again! Great book with scenes and parts that refer to other points in the story, past and future. Without reading these in one go (or re-reading), it would be easy to miss the overarching story arc or the fact that it is obvious that not only has the author done a lot of research, but has a full plan for the storyline. While it is somewhat painful to end on a cliffhanger, I am not surprised as this is not the last book in the series (and all of her previous books have done the same). So here I am, having finished this book, and once again waiting for my next chance to continue the magical feeling of being swept away to the Afterlife world. This author has created an addict out of me, and I cannot wait for my next taste.

Keira, Draven....SMH.... I give this book 3 stars
It wast that it was too bad it was just too predictable. Its the same theme over and over again in a continuous loop! If she isnt saving him, he's saving her. It always requires them to journey to hell.It always wounds up with them being betrayed. The betrayal piece is always very obvious. I cant believe Aurora is still breathing to be honest. She is 1 tough chick!
The only saving grace for this book are the other characters, such as Lucius. I would love LOVE LOOOOVE to read more about him. He is much more interesting than Draven. I prefer his court over Dravens anyway. I so freaking love PIP!
I must say though, the 1 thing that really threw me in this book was the whole Wild Bill Thing... Ummmm, I dnot understand his significance in this book what-so-ever. ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 stars just arent enough... Stephanie you have done it again. This book is absolutely brilliant. I wanted to carry on reading. I think this is your best book in the series yet :-). Cant wait for more to come out. X

This book gives you a wonderful roller coaster of emotions and makes you love the extended Draven family more and more!!! Highly recommended!

I was so very dissapointed... 50% of the time
Let me start by saying this book was horrid until I through about 56% of it. (My kindle doesn't have page numbers just percentage) the first half of this book was Keira and Aurora going through hell and there was almost no diolog.. just Keira talking about damn architecture or pretty shiny things.. not giving a single darn that she was trying to save Draven.. then she would randomly say something snarky and auroura would roll her eyes or tell her to hurry.. i guess while in hell searching for the love of your life it is quite ok to stop and smell the roses and be funny instead of hurrying the hell up! Seriously the entire first half of this book could have been gone (we can keep the first 2 or 3 chapters) and we would not have missed out on one single thing. I read a book in a day or 2 .. it took me almost 2 weeks to get to 50% and I forced my what through it..However once we get passed that part we are introduced to a certain cowboy and BAM!!! Stephanie Hudson is back and the book is amazing from there on out.. I wish all the extra description pages were gone from both of the last 2 books then we would have had one really flipping good book.. but it was horrible trying to remember what happened from part 1 when we had so many dang descriptions to trudge through.. 6 pages describing the Janis gate and in those 6 pages there were 2 sentences of dialog between auroras and Keira.. those sentences had like 8 words combined.
The last half of the book flew by and the story got back to what we knew then the characters we loved came into the picture and I felt like I was finally home. FINALLY!!
I would of loved to give 5 stars for the last half of the book but I hated the first half so much I would have loved to give no stars.. so because we love us some Draven I could only take on star off..
But... really peeps.. just suck it up and get through that first part and you will be so happy with what finally comes..
And a huge warning.. cliff hanger... arghhhhhh

Stephanie Hudson
I really didn't like this book all that much and i occassionally found myself scheming through some of the pages....i felt that this book series was due to end, but author keeps on adding on to it.
i found this book a bit boring and more complicated than the previous five books....i just wish that the author had kept this book as simple and wriiten a straight forward plot like the Afterlife book that i loved.
Character review
Draven Dominic :H e is still king of the mortal world, though i felt that his character was suppressed and that created a vision of his potential wasn't reached.
Kiera: She is meant to be the the Electus and have kick as powers but all was potrayed was that she is a demsel in distress through out this who book. Yes she had some situations that potrayed her as a strong ish character but i still felt like she was waiting to be rescued through out this whole book.
PiP: She was aleast potrayed as an interesting and completely fun character.
Lucious: I felt that he was left out and his full potential wasn't reached
As for Vincent and Sophia i wished there were more scenes with them in it, i really liked seeing the prince of hell and would love to see more of him and gettting to know his character a bit more.

I have been in love with this series since the beginning. I just couldn't wait till the next book came out and would stay up all night reading it since I couldn't put it down. With this last book I'm starting to get aggravated. When Keira found something she thought was very important she just had to drop everything and rush to Afterlife. When she got there though she got sidetracked and thought oh it can wait till another day. Then why did she have to rush over there like that? She is always doing this and it is starting to get a little annoying. She never seems to evolve she is just stuck being the same way she has been since the start. What about her powers? That seems like it keeps taking a back seat as well. Overall still love these books as there is not another out there like it but I do hope that the next book isn't just her getting kidnapped or getting herself into one stupid situation after another with everyone else having to save her....again.

Not happy! Thought this was going to be the final happy ending.
So expecting that there would not be another part of the storyline. I was hoping for a happy ending and the next series with a spin off with one of the characters. Shame I'm so disappointed to spend seven dollars to be just confused again. Why does Stephanie only lets them be happy for two days in a row then disaster. Not sure I will buy the next,unending, unhappy ending.

The Pentagram Child Pt. 2 is the 6th book in the Afterlife Saga by Stephanie Hudson. I have to say that this story is enthralling, and it will leave you spellbound. And even though the premise is so often told, angels and demons. But, this take is anything but typical. Stephanie puts such an interesting twist on this theme and that makes it fresh and unique. And Stephanie didn't skip out on her research and that is such a positive aspect that just adds so much more detail to this book.
One of the things that I love about this book is that we finally get the answer to the question I have been asking since book 1. What makes Keira so “magnetic” to these powerful males?
These powerful males can sense her destiny to unite the Kings for the upcoming battle and they are just drawn to her like moths to a flame. It's not something that she can control. It's just a part of who she is naturally. It's also a part of what makes her such a likable character, at least in my own opinion.
From the first moment we met Alex I didn't like him and I didn't trust him and his actions throughout this book just proved me right and then everything else he did just made me dislike him all that much more. I was so happy that he got what he deserved in the end and I loved who gave it to him.
Aurora, the she devil. I knew there was a reason I disliked her and I wished that Dominic had unalived her once and for all a long time ago. It's just too bad he didn't. It would have saved the world a lot of problems to come. Well, at least we finally know what she's been plotting for decades now. Now we just have to figure out where that conniving little she devil is.
Oh poor R.J. She was finally offered the chance to enter this supernatural world with Keira, have love and happiness and because of that conniving she she-devil above she had it all viciously ripped away from her and she was left with a shattered heart and she ended up wanting some space away from her best friend Keira to boot.
I love the way we got to meet Steampunk Wild Bill Hickok. And the fact that he managed to destroy the plans that the above-mentioned conniving she-devil had planned for Keira, that was just the icing on the cake. And he helped bust her out of a certain level of h$ll that I'm just not going to name here but you'll figure out when you're reading this book. You'll enjoy the part he plays. He made me laugh.
Pip's birthday party. I don't really think that Pip's birthday party went exactly the way she had fully planned. I mean there was the fact that the she devil crashed it, her plan was brought to light, R.J.'s heart was shattered, and walked all over during Pip's birthday party. But, I am sure as the sun rose on the next morning, that went exactly as Pip, Adam, Sophia, Dominic, and everyone else hoped and prayed it would.
Then there was the whole Draven family meets Keira's family, along with Pip and Adam of course. This whole party went a lot better than expected considering who and what the Draven family, Pip, and Adam all are. And I am still trying to figure out WTH is wrong with Keira's grandmother. First, she went after Dominic and then she started with all the other guys at the party.
The supernatural wedding. OMG! I don't know what more I can say. I absolutely laughed through Pip and Sophia trying to get Keira ready for her first wedding and then there was her arrival and just wanting to jump Dominic's bones right away. But, OMG, that first ceremony was one of a kind I have to say.
The ending of the book, was a bizarre cliffhanger that I am still trying to figure out and I am slowly piecing together as I am listening to the next book. But, I have to say that it is a very interesting plot twist.
The Pentagram Child does have to come with 1 warning. When it begins it does not start with chapter 1, it begins with chapter 45 picking up right where PT. 1 left off. But, I do recommend it as long as you have been reading/listening to the series from the beginning otherwise the book will not make any sense to you at all.
I am turning into a huge fan of Stephanie Hudson's and I look forward to diving into her other series after I have completed this series. I haven't decided what series is next on my reading list. But, I will be deciding soon and the entire Afterlife Saga will be going on my trophy shelf soon.

Totally Wicked!!
I don't normally give reviews but got hooked on this Amazing series. Laughing, crying, frustration, on edge holding on by the seat of your pants totally AWESOME wickedness in this series. Thank you Stephanie Hudson for keeping me entertained and giving me an escape well worth the wait.

Love all the characters, love the series... However I would really like is for Draven & Keira to finally come together (staying together) and fight together without having to rescue each other in some way or another. Another amazing job done can't wait to read the next

Brilliant Story Craft…
The tale is engaging, leaving the reader spellbound. The premise is one often told, angels and demons. However, it is anything but typical. The author puts an interesting twist on this theme, making it fresh and unique. The extensive research that has been undertaken is also another positive aspect. Sadly, there is one serious flaw: the editing is atrocious! One aspect I feel is worth noting about the author’s style, is her classy approach to Kiera and Dominic’s relationship and love making. The way the writer tastefully, yet passionately describes intense intimate interludes between the characters is often beautifully poetic and avoids the pornographic, thankfully. Treating the subject with any less finesse would cheapen and spoil the story.
To the author: congratulations on the story itself, it is a seductively engaging, beautiful, supernatural work of art. Please get a skilled editor to clean up the errors, it would perfect the story and enhance your craft.

This book finally was the story I wanted to read for Kiera and Draven as they finally found some semblance of happiness. I love that; for once, they communicated, and the story worked out. Yes, it was still riddled with action and suspense, but it had so much happiness that I forgot the other moments. I love all the characters and personalities the author includes; there is someone in the storyline for everyone to fall in love with and someone to hate. Draven finally acts like the man I have wanted him to for the last five books, pulls his head out of his behind, and gives his girl what she deserves.
Okay, so this book is probably the shortest. Okay, on the afterlife series thru far. It is also the continuation of book 5. This book also has a warning for mature content.
This book begins in the past with a moment in time for Kiera when she hears a demon voice. Dominic makes a horrible choice to release Hell to save Kiera, not knowing if she is already dead. Of course, this part of the book is action-packed, and some of our favorite characters are involved, including Lucius, Pip, and even Sophia. Alex, of course, shows his true colors finally, and they aren’t pretty.
Oh, this book takes a sick and twisted turn as Aurora comes into play. Yup, I still hate her; there is no way she is trustworthy or honest. She, of course, doesn’t disappoint, and finally, Kiera gets her backbone back. This brings excitement and, of course, takes place in Hell.
The reunion is fantastic, and omg, I love badass Kiera and Pip. Of course, Draven is full of sweet surprises, and this book goes back to super romantic. Omg, this book was fabulous. I love the ending, even though it was perplexing after all the happiness.

A good story with some frustrating lead characters
I am reading this series and vested now in finding out the author’s end game. So I continue to read what parts and chapters that I can. Kiera is kidnapped in every book and sometimes multiple times. It’s so annoying that you just skip over the nonsense. All these powerful Kings, Angels, Vampires, and Demons are supposed to be watching her but nope, the next scene Kiera is kidnapped again. It’s like a mockery. Now that some good things have happened to the lead couple King Draven and his Queen Kiera, I am hoping that book seven will have these two people communicating and not hiding pertinent information. I am trying to hope but two things have happened and it doesn’t seem likely. First Kiera discovered information about someone from her past that she forgot about. I will give her a bit of credit as she had good intentions to tell the King but was sidetracked. Second thing a few disappearing characters at the end of the story, so cliffhanger to the next book. Still asking why?

It is getting better again, but i really think Keira and Dom's story could have wrapped up and carried on the saga from another POV. I really don't think i can read anymore kidnapping's immature misunderstandings, inner monologue and descriptions on what people are wearing each day and how they have their hair. TBH i find myself skimming the pages of descriptions, i feel the story is getting too pulled out, not much content to each book since the 3rd its all much of the same.
I did however enjoy

I finally got my question answered as to why Keira is so “magnetic” to powerful males. It’s her destiny to unite the kings for an upcoming battle and she has absolutely no control over it. That eases my mind somewhat since she overall is so unlikable. I was able to concede that Draven was a lovesick fool but couldn’t wrap my head around the others.
Alex is not a perfect boyfriend.
We finally discover what Aurora has been plotting for decades.

Once he finally proves himself to her, they start to communicate. The new setting in this book is Tartarus. Both Dom and Keira travel there. The evil Aurora finally shows her true colors.
>No spoilers, but there is a portion of the supernatural marriage ritual that I wish the reader had seen when Dom describes it to Keira. I think out of all the books this book is the most erotic.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. I am tired of Keira finding out something important and then never telling anyone. The cliffhanger in this book is very vague and odd. I hope the next book explains things.

I do love this series, but come on, how much bad luck does a girl have?
I feel the author is just looking to drag this series out. don't get me wrong I am in till the end, but how many times does she have to get kidnapped or she doesn't think about telling Dominic things straight away?
the ending of this book sets up for the next one, but come on.... let Dom and Keira actually spend time together and maybe kick ass together ?
there was a few times in this book I was left confused and I am still trying to understand everything that I have read.
about the cursed necklace, Alex, Seth, Samuel/Morgan , the Titans . Theres a lot of things that happen in this book and sometimes I feel it's to busy .
how did Dom not know about the huge present in the closet/ dressing room?

Again, story line is great. Lots of action and adventure, not so much in the romance area tho. This one is mainly about the fight between the Gods and the Titans and the trip back to hell. That is the gist of this story. There is some romance towards the end of the book. I skipped a lot of pages that were just mundane descriptions. Not too sure about reading anymore in this series. Just not interesting enough if your looking for romance and the outlook from both parties. Keira is still wimpy and for the life of me I don't know how she has survived this long. If it wasn't for some guy always saving her she would have died 20+ times. Will she ever grow a set and start taking care of herself?
