વીસમી સદીના દક્ષિણ એશિયા સાથે સંકળાયેલા અને એકાદ વીસમી સદીના ઐતિહાસિક પ્રસંગો અહીં બહુ જ સુંદર રીતે લખાયા છે. ઈતિહાસની આ ઘટનાઓ વાચકને જકડી રાખે એવી રસપ્રદ રીતે લખાઈ છે. આજે (માર્ચ ૨૦૨૧) દુનિયા સામે જે અમુક પ્રશ્નો છે એના ઘણા ખરા મૂળ કારણો આ ૮૦ પાનમાં સમાયેલા છે.
