I absolutely devoured this in less than 12 hours. I will be back with a full review, but this is a MUST READ. ⭐️

Okay, I'm back:

INCREDIBLE. One of my favorite reads of the entire year.
I stayed up ALL NIGHT reading this because I genuinely could not put it down. By the end, I was on the edge of my seat, stressed and full of anticipation. This story completely pulled me in, and I loved it so, so much.
Clara St. James does such a beautiful job portraying female strength and resilience, a mother’s love, and the lengths we will go to protect the people we love. I loved Mia’s journey to finding safety and peace, especially after everything she had been through. I absolutely adore her character and wished I could reach through the pages and hug her. Colt was the ultimate protective cowboy. You get to see him slowly come out of his grumpy shell and that was one of my favorite parts of the story. The way his character developed and the relationship between him and Mia had me completely invested.
I also LOVED the side characters and the found family element of this story. It made me even more excited for the next books in the series because I am absolutely not ready to leave this world yet. Alora was such a bright spot of sunlight throughout the story, but she also brought an extra layer of emotion to the plot that I wasn't prepared for.
This book had everything I love: protective cowboy, strong FMC, found family, emotional depth, resilience, deep love, and just enough stress to keep me turning pages.
I loved Mia. I loved Colt. I simply loved this story.
5 incredibly shiny stars. This is one of my favorite reads of the year. Thank you so much to Clara St. James for the ARC. I am so excited for the world to read this.

Let me tell you… this book! WOW!

This book was so good. I was sitting on the edge of my bed at one point because it was a little suspenseful! The character development was amazing, I loved the single mom aspect and the way that Colt took such good care of others from afar through all his grunting!

Definitely a book that will have you in tears, let me tell you!! :)
