While looking for another book on my shelves, I happened upon this wonderful work, a combination of photography, history of the petroglyphs and native American poetry and prayer. So I stopped my search and took some time to look through it. It has some of my favorite Native American prayers, including a variation on the "walking in beauty" prayer. The photos are shot with clarity and have a sense of drama at times and peace at others.

Highly recommended for lovers of the southwest, petroglyphs, Native American culture.
