Just didn't do it for me...
I was really curious,I love a good M/F/M menage ( I don't like the mmf ones m/m is not my thing) and the plot sounded really interesting but if the guys weren't doing their petty arguing there really wasn't much going on the plot that sounded Sooo interesting ended up, well , rather boring there wasn't any real chemistry between Aspen and the guys, they were pleasant enough but really boring their wasn't much a story to it at all...
Guys bite girl as young pups,girls family terrified of what it means runs away with her and hides,"all grown up bowl" in their early 20's guys find girl to claim as mate, girl is confused at 1st, guys have lots petty squabbles, girl learns about being a wolf now,father chases guys off... Days later girls chases after then with parents approval, they finally realize she's destined for both not one or the other,after quick 7days of boring sex,they got her parents to tell them about it being a 3 some , (Mom like the rest of us wishes she had two sexy men as well ;) ) and their all gonna move back to where they came from, The End.....

Chase and Brad grew up together in New Mexico and when they were young they came across a little girl. They wanted to play but something else happened and now they are looking for her. Aspen is a young sassy gal who loves roller derby but when sudden changes start to happen she looks for answers in Chase and Brad.
This has more romance and drama in it and it it just keeps getting better and better from start to finish. The flow of the story has a smooth flow to it and the interaction of the characters is great.
This is a must read for any paranormal romance book lover and well worth putting in your library.

Once Bitten
I'm a fan a paranormal romance and read them quite a bit. Although Once Bitten was a solId story overall, I just felt as if something was missing. Perhaps it was because I felt no connection between the characters, despite the intended one presented in the storyline. I, however, felt that the connection could have been stronger. The men were friends, then had a falling out, but then we're friends again when the settled into the mating. With all the contention that existed between them before, their easy acquiescence of their triad didn't feel real. I guess that connection, or lack thereof, is what kept me from loving the story. But it definitely was not unenjoyable.

Brad & Chase, both sons of Alphas and raised as competitors. Both after the same mate. I really got a kick out of the antics these two got up to in their quest. Aspen a young lady whose life is changing and whose world has shifted, as she's approached by these gorgeous guys, one who bit her as a child, but which one? I actually enjoyed this story it was a bit too short for my tastes, but it was a good read and I didn't feel cheated. I also enjoyed Aspen's parents they were a pleasant surprise. This was a fun and refreshing read not weighed down by an over angst-ridden story.

Chase and Brad use to be friends a long time ago. When they were pups they even played with a human girl not knowing she was different than them. Aspen had gotten bitten that day and her and her family’s lives turned upside down. They moved away thinking the pack would take their little girl away from them. Years later Both Brad and Chase set there site on finding her, both thinking they were the one how bit her and is now fated to be her mate. This is a very well written and entertaining story to read. Some twists along the way and fun to read.

Another great book by Ariana Hawkes. I have read several of her series and enjoyed them all. Their one was full of adventure, personal enlightenment and of course romance. And what a storyline! A little human girl being bitten by 2 pups and years later, they come looking for her before her shift. They find her and convince her that she's their mate. Now to convince her human parents! Once they do that they get their HE A.

This a sweet, light-hearted romance between two wolf shifters and the roller derby skater who is the object of their affections. I recommend this book to take your mind from what ails you. It is less fattening than chocolate!

Cute book
Short, sweet and to the point. Definitely some twists from traditional werewolf lore but interesting to read. Aspen is one lucky woman, and I agree with her mom "she's living every woman dream"

Overall this was a good story I liked Chase and Brad. Aspen was kickass. I like the interaction between the three but still I’m wanting more.

I was given Once Bitten Twice Smitten as an ARC for an honest review and I couldn't put it down!! This is a very fast read and will leave you wanting to know more of Aspen, Brad and Chase's story.
Aspen is now a curvy young woman who plays on a roller derby team. Her parents had moved the family after Aspen had been bitten by a wolf pup when she was a little girl. Brad and Chase were the wolf pups that had been playing with the little girl in the woods when one of them bit her by accident. Brad and Chase come across each other as they are trying to find her. She is the mate to the one that bit her. Of course they each want her for themselves and are being competitive and keeping information from each other. Aspen has been having pain and these weird things happening to her body recently and doesn't know what to do about it. Brad spots her first and follows her home. He hears her screaming so he rings the doorbell. She manages to answer the door and tells her that he had had the same pain. He told her to ask her parents why they left the area, that they would have some answers for her.

Two werewolf pups chase a young girl through the forest playing with her having fun until the playing gets out of hand and one of them ends up accidentally biting her and marking her as his own. The problem? No one knows which of the two Alphas marked her and to whom she belongs. Now all grown up roller derby girl Aspen is on the cusp of her first shift when Brad and Chase come back into her life so she can pick her mate but what happens if she's drawn to them both?
This was a fun short, hot little read. Brad and Chase have been at odds for most of their life pitted against each other repeatedly and this time isn't any different but when they decide to work together instead of against each other they make for one hot menage team! I enjoyed the story my only complaint is I felt the length of it kept me from really getting invested in the characters so I took this more as a for entertainment kind of book which it definitely was. Two werewolf pups (Chase and Brad) chase a little girl having fun only to accidentally bite her as they had no idea her skin was that easy to damage. Fast forward and the 2 pups are now both sons of an alpha in charge of separate packs and no longer friends.
The girl (Amber) was taken away by her family and has no idea what happened. She has grown up being bullied and tormented as she is not slim like others. She now works in a restaurant and competes in the local roller derby. She has been having pain for a while now and has no idea what is happening to her.
Enter Chase and Brad who have no idea which one actually bit her but are hoping she is their fated mate. Will Amber find out what she is and get over the initial period, and will she have Chase or Brad as her mate (if her parents let them anywhere near her).

I loved this! A great story of a girl who was accidently bitten when she was eight years old, only to be swept away by her parents and moved to the other side of the country to try and protect her. I won’t give you details of the book, because it is so awesome, that I think you will want to read it for yourself.
The plot is wonderful. This is a new twist on werewolves, bringing two friends, who have become competitors against each other throughout the years, back together as friends, and perhaps more, in a twist of fate, as they fight the battle to win their mate. Which one will win?
The characters are fun and full of life, forever keeping us in suspense as to what they will do next.
My only disappointment is at the end. I was hoping for a bit more. But perhaps it only leaves it open for a part two?

Years later.......Aspen is a Kick A** BBW Roller Derby player, she is happy with her life, but very self conscience of her size, no thanks to school bullies...She has always felt funny through and then out of the blue on one of those funny days there was a knock on her door and everything changed for her. A complete good looking stranger tells her to ask her parents about those funny feelings she gets.
Brad and Chase used to be very good friends as children, but as the years passed and both were destined to be Alpha's, they grew apart. Their parents always reminded them that their mate was out there and the time was approaching for them to go out and look for her. Problem is, which one of them is her fated mate.

I LOVED this story!! What's better than one future alpha wanting you? Two hot and damn sexy future alphas wanting you!!! Meet Brad, Chase and Aspen, the newest characters from author Ariana Hawkes and she has outdone herself with this all new sizzling erotic story line. Though I love Brad and Chase I feel like I get Aspen, a some what insecure woman who has dealt with cruelty because people think she's fat. She is definetely not as she is just simply "voluptuous".
This book definitely needs to be added to your MUST read list as I know you too will quickly fall in love with this steamy and fast paced story as it gets the juices flowing. I'm hoping that Ariana doesn't keep us waiting too long for the second book because I can't wait to see the packs reaction.

I absolutely love Aspen! This heroine is a BBW who has a snarky sense of humor, is comfortable being herself and full of confidence, except for bouts of insecurity regarding the opposite sex. She has had mean & bullying situations thrown her way in the past, so she has a tendency to avoid looking for romance.
Enter not one, but two, young shifter alphas. See Chase. See Brad. Almost total opposites in looks and attitudes. They were friends, raised together, looking and competing for a specific female they believe is the destined mate to one of them. Aspen.
