This is one of those books that gives you goosebumps from the first moment you start reading the author brings you a true love story that over comes every obstacle there is even death, twice. Arcaeus a honorable warrior and soul searcher for the mighty god Apollo meets his soul mate in Thalia and when she is sacrificed in the name of the sun God he gives up his own soul to search for hers.
Through heaven and hell they search for each other, through storms and war they travel to come out on the other end together. Only by reading the book you will know if they succeed.The story is well written, there's a good flow of words and language that suites the time and the book. It is a heartfelt love story that will have you clutching you heart more than once hoping these two lost souls will be given a second chance, and let's put it this way I am not a fan of Apollo.
I particular love the last 1/3 of the book with the magnificent ending where you didn't know what would be the final straw the thing that would be the real ending. Well the ending is better than expected and a delightful relief.
If I had to object to something it would have to the lack of dialog. The dialog is what brings the characters out in the open, what sets the group dynamics. There were times when I wished that the characters would have spoken instead of me having been told what they thought or were feeling. If there would have been more dialog and both between characters but also hearing the individuals inner dialog it would have been a five star for me.

This is RJ Thompsons debit novel and I'm so glad I downloaded this book. If you like romance books with a touch of history and Greek mythology, then you will love this book.
I'm not going to give too much away for the people who haven't yet read this book, so I'll keep it short.
Arianna is a young lady who loves everything from the past. She has a thing for Greek mythology.As you read this it becomes apparent why she has a thing for Greek gods and Greek myths.
However, Ariana thinks she is having strange dreams about a Greek god called Archaeos. But they aren't really dreams.Going back in time Arianna was a Greek goddess called Thalia. Her soul belonged to Archaeos, but she was sacrificed and killed off. To cut the story short, Arianna's and Arcaeos souls find each other, but only for a short period, because the horrible Apollo, seeks revenge on Archaeos and kills him. This author did a great job with this book and I recommend this to everyone that ever feel they will never find their true love. I know it's just a book but if you read like I do you can see yourself as apart of this story.
This is one of those books that grabs you and never lets you go. Not just a love story but a story of true love and soul mates that not death or even the Greek God Apollo can destroy.
Everything is perfect the perfect job, an annoying best friend, not having the perfect body others think you should have and bad experience with dating. Let's not forget love and loss.

Soulkiss by J. Thompson is a must read, must own & a must add to your book collection!
I was asked to read & leave an honest review, let me start by saying, Soulkiss by J. Thompson did NOT disappoint!
This is one of those books that pulls you in & you never want it to let you go, the characters were developed beautifully. I fell in love with Arcaeus & Arianna's love story instantly. They not only defied the god Apollo but death & time, their love conquered it all!
The author did a brilliant job with this novel & I will be awaiting more amazing reads!

Since I have a love for the stories of Thor and his Hammer, Odin, Loki , Nidhogg and Agar , I was looking forward to reading this book and am delighted to add new gods and their stories to my reading list.
These two soul mates find each other and their HEA comes with a twist. I fell in love with Arcareus and Arianna from the start. Arianna, to me, is much more fun and a better match for Arcareus than her self in a previous life. A smart, funny cast with a villain you love to hate. Apollo does have some redeeming boyish qualities and takes a dressing down from his sister Aphrodite with a bit of a snit but in an endearing manner.
And who knew Hades has a sense of humor?
This story has romantic love, star crossed lovers, loss and pain, tears and triumph as well as some serious perversion from Apollo that quit frankly shocked me. My favorite scene is the chocolate Cadbury egg Arianna finds in her purse. Arcaeus hears Arianna moaning in ecstasy in his bed and we can only imagine what he was thinking! His first taste of the strange round object leads to some wicked tasty hot sex.
Some scary moments that had me cringing in fear for Arianna and Arcaeus and her pain at his death and torture made me cry. A shout out and kudos to Arianna for cracking that guard where it counts.
The book has an adult theme and descriptions, so if you are offended by a bit of wholesome sexy and at times crude speak and explicate sex and love scenes be forewarned .
I felt the beginning is a bit stilted but as the story unfolds is becomes free flowing and enjoyable. Her descriptions of time and place gives perfect visuals and the research is spot on. I couldn’t put it down and even read it twice. I can honestly say I love this book and will be adding it to my library to read over and over.
R.J Thompson is a new author for me and her ability to weave a spell around her readers will keep me coming back for more. I give this book a 5+ star rating and will be recommending this to friends.

Wow! If you're tired of the usual stories or looking for something new then this book is for you. Set in the period of Ancient Greece and mythology of gods truly coming to life!
Arianna is your typical 21st century girl...well almost! Fed up of men and love she throws herself into her work. With an upcoming trip to Greece she finds so much more than she expects after a bad double date!

Oh My Goddess!
This was my first read in the Greek Mythology Genre! RJ Thompson did such a fabulous job mixing Gods/ Goddesses and mortals, and ancient and modern times together!
Arianna, an Archaeologist has started to have wonderfully strange dreams of a handsome warrior who kisses her with a passion she has not felt in a long time.
With a little help from the Goddess of Love Aphrodite, Arianna enters the world where she is able to meet her warrior Arcaeus. Will a grudge held by a vindictive Apollo keep her from her one true love? Or will the power of love ( and maybe a little help from the Goddess of love) finally bring these two soul mates together?
This story has it all, love, longing, adventure, action, loss, hope and a bit of humor! I gave this book 5 stars because I cannot give any more! I will definitely be looking forward to the next book in this series!

This was a fantastic read. What would you do to keep your soulmate in your life?
Arianna has been having frequent day dreams of the same man for many months. Little does she know that he is real! And searching for her.
Arcaeus was devastated when he finds out his soulmate had been sacrificed to Apollo. He has a plan though to get her back no matter the cost.
Two things i disliked are the lack of spoken dialoug and it jumps a bit with out real notification so it could be a bit hard to follow

When I first started reading this, I expected romance, tension, drama but what I got was so much more. R.J. Thompson has created a beautiful story with a gorgeous storyline involving two, beautiful destined soul's with plenty of excellent twists and turns. SoulKiss is truly a work of art and one heck of an emotional ride. What an amazing start to a new series by a new author! I strongly suggest you get your copy NOW. You will fall in love with not only the characters and story but also with the author like I did. Five stars just isn't enough!

I received this for my honest review, I won't do spoilers. What a beautiful fantasy romance, with plenty of great characters and alpha males. this is in present day but with dreams so realistic you get lost in the story of Greek mythology, Arianna is an archaeologist and Arcaeus is from the past searching for his soul mate, what happens will pull you into it, the scenes are beautiful and a sure thing you will feel good after reading it but also wanting more from them.

I just finished Soulkiss by R.J. Thompson and it was fantastic. I now find myself wondering what is going to happen with Cosmos. Them pesky Gods are always up to something and causing problems some where. I am a sucker for a happy ending and R.J. Thompson did not disappoint. If you haven't read this book you definitely should add it to your to read list.

Excellent book! I have always loved reading mythology, and reading this book that combines both mythology and a wonderful love story. Reading about Adrianna and Arcaeus's story is about a love that never dies, no matter who or what tries to keep them apart.

I received this ARC for an honest review and really enjoyed it. This book was a fun and entertaining read that brought out the hopeless romantic in me and wishes of a sexy soulmate to be searching for my love 😊. I enjoyed the Greek mythology immersed in the story and I love the lusty interchange between Arcaeus and Arianna. I am definitely going to read more from this author.

I love the way Jenn writes, it is always outside of the box and this is no exception. SoulKiss is a romance novel with a twist, where two words come together and make you question... Do you believe in soul mates? Do you believe in Fate? What happens when things don't go as planned? What will happen when things start to change for Ariana? I have never been one to think about Mythology but thanks to Jenn I am now definitely interested in learning more. This is a fantastic story that will keep you intrigued throughout. So get comfortable and enjoy!

RJ Thompson is another first for me! All I need to say about SoulKiss is wow! This amazing story is full of myths, passion, deceit, love, sex, a sexy alpha male, and of course a full of sass woman to challenge her alpha male! The beginning was a little slow, it took some time to get into but after a little bit it really started flowing! I could not put my tablet down once things got moving!

Arianna is an archeologist from the UK that travels to Greece with her best friend and follow archeologist Sonia. Arianna is a strong woman who has had little luck with men in the past and is content with being single, but Sonia has other plans. Though out their relationship, Sonia has set Arianna up with dates, but with no success before and now. After a horrible date with a complete jerk, Arianna life is forever altered by the gods.
Arcaeus is an ancient heartbroken Greek warrior who sold his soul to the vengeful god Apollo when the love of his life was sacrificed on a whim. Even though he is a total alpha male, he isn’t the pushy, assuming, kind of jerk that needs to be taken down a notch. He is passionate, brave, and persistent.
Or is he? Since Arianna only sees him in her dreams, he must be a figment of her imagination. She is everything she wants in a man, including the way he makes her feel when he kisses her.
Overall, the book was great. It started off a bit slow for me because I wanted to learn more about Arcaeus, but we eventually get more of him. I felt the book did speed up and it got to the point where I couldn’t wait for my break at work to get here so I could get a few moments more in. It’s great for anyone who likes hot romance and Greek Mythology. I would definitely recommend this to other readers.
The main problem with this book is that the editing was awful. I give RJ Thompson major props for being a first time indie author because – and let’s be honest – putting yourself out there like that is beyond hard. I just started SoulFate, and there is much better editing so far. I wish she would have SoulKiss edited and release an update. I know it will turn some readers away, and I’m certain if the editing was done and the book updated, it would get a boost in good reviews and more readers.
To sum it up: Great story, a bit slow at first but speeds up, needs editing more, great potential!

Arcaeus is an ancient heartbroken Greek warrior who sold his soul to the vengeful god Apollo when the love of his life was sacrificed on a whim. Even though he is a total alpha male, he isn’t the pushy, assuming, kind of jerk that needs to be taken down a notch. He is passionate, brave, and persistent.
Or is he? Since Arianna only sees him in her dreams, he must be a figment of her imagination. She is everything she wants in a man, including the way he makes her feel when he kisses her.
Overall, the book was great. It started off a bit slow for me because I wanted to learn more about Arcaeus, but we eventually get more of him. I felt the book did speed up and it got to the point where I couldn’t wait for my break at work to get here so I could get a few moments more in. It’s great for anyone who likes hot romance and Greek Mythology. I would definitely recommend this to other readers.

I throughly enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next volume in the Soulmate series. The nook is a full length novel that I got totally lost in as I was reading. It has many interesting facets; a love story, Greek mythology, time travel, archaeology, revenge, murder and mystery. All of these elements together make a great book. Get your copy now !

I would consider this to be in the Erotic Romance genre. Because of this it is only appropriate for ages 18+ . I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
The book begins with the prologue opening us up to the realm of Gods and morals mixing and we are told that the story is full of love, hate, revenge, denial, and a love conquers all attitude. We meet Arcaeus who lost his love Thalia to his God Apollo as a sacrifice. The next individual we meet is Arianna who coincidentally happens to stumble upon Arcaeus in the moonlit forest. The writing is very descriptive about the lustful feelings that she feels for this man. She does not know him but he insists that she should remember him. Months later she is unable to determine whether their encounter had been real or all just a dream, after all how often do we stumble across a man in the forest who looks like Greek God? Arianna and her best friend are off to Greece for a 3 month trip for their job at the Manchester Museum in the Ancient Cultures department. Arcaeus continues to haunt Adrianna’s dreams and he feels that she is his lost love reincarnated. He is quickly gone from her mind as she is thrust into a double date with some Greek locals. But once again her dreams take over while getting ready for this date when a beautiful woman appear in the mirror to Arianna who turns out to be herself wearing a pendant on her neck (that looks all too familiar) and black ribbons on her wrists. It is the Ancient Greek pendant she had found with a plea to Aphrodite that is the similarity between the reflection and real woman. She encourages her to “protect him and save his soul”. Can Arianna be Thalia reincarnated or is her love for Ancient Greece causing her to have these dreams?

Love that withstands even death! Arcaeus lost his love to a vengeful god, but nothing would stop him from finding her again. Using the gift of soul searcher from the God Apollo, he connects with her soul in dreams, but she does not know him. Following a disastrous date Arianna (reincarnation of Arcaeus lost love Thalia) finds herself at the Goddess Aphrodite’s temple and in a foolish moment recites the prayer on her charm necklace and dances in the ruins, only Aphrodite listens and carries her back in time to Arcaeus and manipulates things for them to meet. Even though it was his love of Thalia that brought him to Arianna, Arcaeus soon finds himself even deeper in love with Arianna then he had been with Thalia. Unfortunately, unknown to either of them a certain deity still has a deep seated desire to make Arcaeus suffer. He is taken from Arianna and must fight through death, Hades, and time to get back to her. Great story of love lost and found, betrayal, hope and faith. I loved the characters, modern woman and ancient Grecian warrior whose souls are so connected that nothing can keep them apart, had more than a few tears going. This was a first for me and I was surprised how much I enjoyed reading a storyline with Greek history and mythology. Ms. Thompson book shows you how exciting Greek mythology can be. The characters are engaging, believable and ingenious. This storyline is very creative and has a good pace to it.
Arianna is a exchange student that is on her way to Greece as archaeologist in the exchange program. She has always been fascinated with Greek history and mythology.
Arcaeus is a warrior of Apollo who is strong and passionate in ancient Greece. When he lost his soulmate he is devastated and he decides to concertante solely on his training.
Their lives are changed as events are unfolded in their lives. With a vindictive god, loyal best friends, and a connection that stands the journey of time this is an adventure that will pull at your heart and having you yelling at your ereader. With love scenes that set you on fire, and a villain cold as ice you don't want to miss this adventure.

Soul kiss by RJ Thompson is a short and quick Erotic Romance book set in Greek Mythology times.
I enjoyed the part where Arianna saw the mysterious stranger that reminded her of an ancient warrior. He was hot, delicious, gorgeous and just dam sexy!!! RJ did a fantastic job describing this mysterious stranger and all his fine physical features. The more detail the author went into the more I was drooling over him too. Let’s not get started on his beautiful eyes and ass!! OHH BABY!! Funny thing was she recognized this man but how?
How can this mysterious man know all the right words to say to Arianna? Is this guy too good to be true? Hot, dreamy, and knows the words to say to her? She had met the man of her dreams or was he just a figment of her imagination?!

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest reveiw. I don't normally read paranormal romance but am glad I read this one!!
It is a story of two worlds Ancient Greek and present, Arianna had dreams of a meeting in the woods with a gorgeous Greek God who couldn't have been real or was he.
Arcaeus lived in Ancient Greece and was a soul searcher for the Greek God Apollo. He was searching for his soul mate who had died under the wrath of Apollo!!!
Arianna had a chance to go to Greece for work with a friend who set her up on a disastrous double date which she left in haste and Arianna's and Arcaeus' worlds collide.
This book had it all, love, sex, romance, fun, suspense, sorrow and all round greatness.
It kept me captivated throughout and that's a plus for me!!! I loved all of it and must admit at one point my heart fell through my stomach but it did have a great HEA!!
I hope there is another book following on from this as I can see a future story with both Arcaeus' and Arianna's friends respectively!!!

This is not my usual sort of book I would read at all. I was really worried that I wouldn't like it at all. BUT I was quickly proven wrong.
This book is this author's debut book and it is well written and extremely descriptive. It gave me a perfect glimpse into the world the author imagines in her head. Ideal for a reader like me that likes to imagine the story while reading it.
I've always loved Greek mythology and tales so all that was great to me. I know others may not like that.

A beautiful romance that focuses on a couple that is meant to be together but the God Apollo decides to destroy for his own reasons.
Arianna has no idea of her past until she starts having strange dreams six months ago. She dreams of a man that looks like someone out of a Greek myth and feels such a strong connection to him. Arcareus has been searching for his lost love and can only connect to her in his dreams. It takes Arianna visiting Greece and calling on the help of another God to finally bring them together. It doesn't make Apollo happy to see Arcareus happy and he is not done with his revenge.
I always loved the Greek myths and it was a great background for this sweet romance. Arianna is a modern woman and not the sweet, shy woman Arcareus knew. He realizes quickly that she is still exactly what he needs to be happy.

Arianna kept having a reoccurring dream of a man. A man that could be her soulmate. But she knows its all a dream or is it?
He is a gorgeous man who is from the ancient times. He makes a request through his Gods to soul search for a woman who was sold to Apollo. He is begins his search for his soulmate.
She soon realizes that the man in her dreams is in fact real.
There is so much more to this story. But I will leave that for you to unravel. Trust me you won't be sorry.
The only and I mean only one, downfall to this book is that the dialogue jumps around a lot. If you can get past that then you will have one hell of a romance.
