Beautiful story of love and over coming life’s hardships and finding your people. Sinclair is pretty much alone in the world because she’s a writer and the volunteering at the shelter is her only things that keeps her around people. When the shelter starts to struggle, she helps raise money. What she isn’t expecting is almost getting run over by the person coming to sign a big check over. I couldn’t help but laugh as she tears into him despite knowing he’s the one giving money. Only problem she starts seeing double. This isn’t a fairy tale romance, it has dark themes all the way through but it’s so beautiful. I couldn’t stop reading and hope we see Dom’s brothers story.
Having read previous work from Ardis Thorne, I knew this would be good! And it did not disappoint!
This isn't a fairy tale, or a Hallmark cute and cuddly movie story. It's complex, deep, grey, intriguing and addictive. The dynamic between FMC Sin and MMC Dom is compelling, and I absolutely loved their journey. And I'm so looking forward to reading more from Ardis.
I love the dynamics between the twins, and however everyone grows throughout the story. I love the representation of diabeties and trauma, the dom/sub relationships are alway spot on with this author!
