WOW!! At first, I was hesitant to read this book because of the intense kink, but the romance was totally worth it. If you're familiar with this author's Safeword series, the intensity of the kink is very similar. There were about 5 scenes, so it felt well-balanced throughout the story.
This was a sensational read in every sense of the word. I loved their meet-cute, their shared passion as foodies, their explosive compatibility, and their deep respect for each other. They are absolute soulmates! As always, I loved that the female lead is successful and has an interesting career.
The descriptions are so vivid, this author seems very passionate about food, cars, and hiking. I also loved the third-person narrative with dual POVs, I always find it more insightful and engaging to have both of their perspectives without being distracted by a first person narration.
Beyond the romance, it was such a treat to revisit Chattanooga and get a glimpse of some fan-favorites! This can absolutely be read as a standalone, in fact, I think it works better on its own than other books in the series, but as always, the experience is so much richer if you've read the previous installments. It really is a great entry point for the series.
Reading this made me feel all warm inside, literally kicking my feet and cheering for their HEA. The only thing I didn't love was the star-crossed lovers situation, I was so frustrated for them! Also, that cliffhanger should be illegal! I need to read the next book immediately. Ultimately, this is the perfect read for fans of heartwarming romance mixed with intense bondage and pain play!

This was such a great read, let me tell you, once I started, the storyline just drew me in. Knife and Tuesday meet in such a cute way and that might be the only time I might say the word cute about them. Because their relationship is just out of this world captivating.
Their scenes were just amazing to read and in some instances I am so glad Ms. Blevins provides graphics of Knife’s rope work. I think I can visualize a lot but sometimes my brain needs help and they totally helped.
Their relationship just gets deeper and deeper and emotions come into play but they know they can’t continue due to paranormal rules. As I read through their scenes you could absolutely feel how much they were falling for each other.
Another part of their story that really jumps out at me is their love of food, I mean Knife works at a butcher shop, so he knows meat, but also knows how to make it taste good. And Tuesday went to culinary school so she knows her way around a kitchen. I couldn’t help but feel a little hungry after reading details of them cooking together.

Knife and Tuesday were quite the interesting couple. They really shouldn't have worked as a couple, due to their connections, yet there was a pull between them from the start. You could tell even then both of them knew they were in over their heads when they talked about being just fuck buddies. Even their kinks matched up, which is saying something as they were a bit extreme. I liked that after an intense long session they talked about things. Even better for these two was that it wasn't all just sex. They got out there and had fun doing different things, including so many meals, both at home and out. This I think was the worst part of the book, both were foodies and they loved talking and sharing food, which drove me nuts as a reader, because I wanted to taste (some of the things) too!
The party were they were at, but not together was a big revelation for them both and not in a good way. It sucked what happened after that and how sad both of them were for that choice, even though they knew it was "best". Tuesday made an interesting choice at the end and I can't wait to see what happens next for them.

If you like paranormal MC Shifter with some bdsm then run and read this absolutely amazing story created by Candace Blevins because she knocked it out of the ballpark with Knife! All my boxes are checked and I can’t think of anything that could make it better.

Wow!!!! First I have been reading this series since the first book came out and I love the MC. But wow the rules between pack and MC wolves kills me every time why can’t we get along. I loved this story the descriptions and scenes Candace sets for the meals, hikes, kinks and their shared experiences brings you right into story. I love visiting Chattanooga each time I read one of these books and this one does not disappoint with our visit into town. Tuesday is so strong deciding what she wants with Knife and going to all the lengths to get her wolf. I can not wait for volume two for these two to get their happy ending because the ending made me cry! The kink in the book was also top tier if ropes are your thing you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be rereading this book!

As I read this book, I couldn't help but notice how much it reflected today's society's overall views of relationships. Be it race, religion, color, sexual orientation or any other mitigating factors, sadly people think they have a right to say who you can or cannot fall in love with. Knife is a lone wolf. Tuesday is a pack member. According to each other's laws and norms they can be friends but nothing more. Unfortunately, the heart wants what it wants. These two work on so many levels. It would be a Candace Blevins romance if there wasn't some serious kink involved. Knife and Tuesday take it another level. Fortunately, we don't have to wait long for volume 2 to find out the consequences of decisions that they've made.

One word kept entering my psyche while reading this book, sensual. Not just in a single sense, but in all the ways anything could be felt. The sensations of our characters hit them deep, and they took me right into their moment with them. Whether it was in a scene, savouring food and drink, experiencing nature, or feeling things best left unsaid, I sensed as if I was there with them. They made me smile, they made me cringe, they made me want to eat the food hey were trying, and they made me cry. They were sensual in all that they did, and I got to experience it all along with them <3
