I don't know what to say. I really loved the first book. But this one answered so many questions. I really loved how we saw what happened after Jordan saved Maggie. The new characters Chuck, Jessica, Gina and Sam were an awesome addition to the storyline. Each one of the new characters played a role in Jordan and Maggie's future. Thank you karen for another great story. I definitely recommend this book.
I'm glad I read this after "Yesterday Once More" it fills in the gaps of the story, . It was also interesting to read Maggie's perspective of certain events.
The book continues the issue of out of date terms related to disability and disability as a tragedy. The parts about horse riding for disabled children was interesting. As a British disabled rider, the equipment they were purchasing would never be allowed here. You must have a way of escaping the horse in the rare case of a fall, so things like Velcro and rubber bands are used, never straps.
The author brought up the issues of time travel paradoxes, dealt with one possible one but seemed to fail to realise a huge one. .
The spice was a bit repetitive, different words but basically the same activity every time.
Saying all that, I did enjoy the book, if I totally suspended belief. It was a light read and I did want to keep on reading.
Also the last pages are copy and paste from the first book. And the author should think about the implications of the time travel more. Because the technology is already developed, Jordan has no compulsion to work on it, meet Kale and start the time travel. Classic grandfather paradox.
