Posing as the lifestyle "little" Dante is searching for in the club scene, Carver infiltrates Dante's inner circle - intending to gain control and strike from within, proving this little has fangs of his own.

This was such a sweet story. I loved the dynamic between Dante and Carver where Dante was the ultimate strong, powerful Daddy who meets the absolute perfect little for him - he just had to navigate the minor detail that Carver was initially trying to kill him! The plot moved along well, and everything was wonderfully clear, well written, and easy to understand throughout. I also completely loved the gnomes - you definitely need to read the book to find out why, but they were such a sweet touch. It’s a great blend of dangerous vampire drama and heartwarming, protective caregiving. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Carver and his best friends Owen and Kenny have a plan to kill the leader of the Vampire clan, Dante Blackwood, the vampire they blame for turning Carver and hurting Owen and Kenny.
So Carver goes undercover to get close to Dante, but what he finds isn’t the monster he thought, but a kind, gentle and patient Daddy and a clan that are family.

I absolutely loved this story! Carver was the cutest little brat at times and I loved it. Dante was the ultimate Daddy and knew just how to handle Carver.

And the Wampire Gnommies??? Cuteness overload!!

This book had me hooked from the first page, laughing at times and kicking my feet. It’s not particularly angsty but the story was interesting. I’m really looking forward to Owen and Rory’s book and also hoping that sweet little Kenny also gets his own book and his own HEA.

This was soooo good! Oh my sweet baby carver! This boy just desperately needed his daddy to find and help him understand what was going on. Dante was such a steady presence, nothing seemed to rattle him(except his boy). This was such a good story and I am so excited for the world snd the new characters we met! Owen snd Kenny just need love and they all seem like the perfect grouping with Jesse included! Plus the 'wampire gnommies'. This was a great group and it left me wanting more but it was also the perfect length!

Carver was turned into a vampire against his will and has spent the past five years finding out all he can about the master vamprie and how to end him and maybe find peace. Dante has always known he would have a perfevt little, now six hundred years later, he finds the perfect baby vampire. He can sense the boy was deeply hurt and Dante will do anything to protect and set things right. Secrets begin coming a light and both vampires need to trust their instinct to do what is right for all the wrongs of the past. What could be an angsty read turns into a sweet daddy little romance with a darker side for some spice.

This is a story about Carver, a human who was changed into a vampire during a horrible attack, and Dante the head vampire of the city where they both live. Carver wants all ‘monsters’ killed for what happened to him and his two best friends, Owen and Kenny, who were also attacked on the same night. Carver, Owen, and Kenny’s plan is for Carver to get close to Dante and kill him. Carver is a Little and they know Dante is a Daddy. When Carver and Dante meet though it is nothing like Carver expects, Dante actually wants Carver and wants to help him, knowing Carver was turned against his will and is struggling to be a vampire. Carver and Dante have a great night together but Carver runs away, afraid of his growing feelings for Dante. Carver goes back to Dante and Carver attempts to kill him but Dante talks him out of it and they have a big talk about everything. Carver and Dante are meant to be together. Carver and Dante convince Owen and Kenny that Dante and his clan will take care of them. Carver and Dante get their HEA and it looks like there may be future books with Owen’s and Kenny’s HEA coming soon.

But, Dante is not like Carver excepted him to be and he finds himself in the presence of the Daddy that he always wanted.

An engaging tale of supernatural creatures, a feisty little with plans bigger than he can control and a Daddy who will do anything for his boy that he has waited a long time for.
With adorable little gnomes, spicy Daddy/boy interactions, and a teaser for what’s to come next, this story keeps you engrossed from start to finish.

Carver the baby vamp was out for revenge. Him and his two human friends Owen and Kenny planned to take out the monsters that hurt them. However, after meeting Dante the most powerful vampire of all. Carver was torn. The man he was going to kill was his daddy and the place he suddenly felt the safest and most like himself. Wampire gnommies may have been the cutest thing in this book. Every side character was just as amazing as the main characters. I truly hope this is the next series from Athena Steller. I am already so intrigued by every character in this book. This was such an amazing read. Loved it so much! Thank you to the author for my ARC of this book.

Wampire Gnommies! This book had me giggling like a mad woman at five in the morning over some gnomes dressed up as vampires terrorising a vampire and being besties with the Littles! I loved how Carver and Dante came together in the end and how patient Dante was with him when he found him hungry in that playroom. Carver, Owen and Kenny were a great trio and I’m glad they learned the truth about what happened to them in the end. I can’t wait to see Owen’s story next!

Overall, Athena has once again hooked me with her story and I loved every second of it! Gimme more Gnomes! I need all the Gnomes!

Oh my goodness, Carver is such a sweetheart!! He, Owen, and Kenny went through a very traumatic situation and are ready to put down who they believe is the cause of it. Carver though is immediately enchanted by Dante & vice versa! Dante is looking for his perfect little and the moment he sees Carver, he knows that Carver is his. The side characters are some of my favorites of Athena’s and I am so excited to get into their stories as well! Dante and Carver are definitely one of my favorite Athena couples now 🤭

Hi all. Arc reader here. While I love Athena and her work please be aware that there can be some confronting scenes in this book. Flashbacks about being attacked. Consider this a trigger warning. Please keep yourself safe.

The book is so well written and does have an amazing plot. I love how Dante knows something’s up the entire time and doesn’t try to change Carter just supports him and helps him realise not everyone is out to hurt him. I adore that love and support. Overall definitely worth a read and I will definitely be reading again.

OH.... WOW..... House of Deceit is book 1 in a new series by Athena Steller and is Absolutely Brilliant I was hooked from the start could not put it down love.... Dante and Carver together simply amazing a vampire daddy who will do anything for his boy and the baby vampire little that he has waited a long time for and the moment he sees Carver he knows that he is his and he's so patient and loving with him also love... Jesse, Owen and Kenny these littles with the Wampire gnommies it's the cutest thing ever so adorable can't wait for more recommend so much.

Adorable start to new series

I love a paranormal daddy/boy little story! I love how Dante fed Carver his blood from his nipple like he was breastfeeding him like he’s actually a baby. The wampire gnommies was another adorable addition. The only thing I didn’t like was how rushed and short this story was. I feel like it could have been fleshed out more and given more of a backstory. Carver talks about Owen and Kenny being his found family and yet you barely see any interaction between the three of them.

Carver and Dante’s book is so good. It’s sweet, spicy, low angst, hurt comfort, with lots of little time, insta love (at least on one side), vampire gnomes, and such a great story. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters, and how Carver sets up their meeting. I love the way Dante takes care of Carver, even when he knows Carver is being deceitful. I can not wait for the next book. I recommend this book!

Ooooo! I think this might be my new favourite from Athena. I absolutely loved Dante and Carver together. I felt for Carver, Kenny and Owen and enjoyed Dante’s patience and care. I look forward to seeing more from these characters, hopefully with a story for Yulian. Possibly Nicholas and Jesse’s book too!
