Layson, second son to a werewolf Alpha, never thought he’d find his mate by locking eyes with her from across a restaurant as she’s on a date with another man.And he never, ever, thought that she would be a human. ᨒ↟ 𖠰𖥧˚ ⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆
Stella is completely ignorant to the entire existence of werewolves. That changes when her date heads to the bathroom, and a new man takes advantage of the empty seat. A man unlike any she has ever laid eyes on.
Their pull towards each other as fated mates is undeniable and inescapable, something neither of them saw coming. Stella, once content with her small town life, her job at the diner, is now finding herself wanting more. Layson, once content to have his older brother one day become Alpha, has instincts kicking in that he was never trained to control.

“I love you.I have loved you since the moment my eyes fell into those deep ocean depths in that little restaurant in Morrisville. The moment I knew you were meant to be mine. And I have thanked the Moon every day since for blessing me with you.” ⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆

Now, coming from a girl who’s never even read Twilight, or any other werewolf/shifter book for that matter, I really enjoyed this. It’s nearly 600 pages of fast paced action, romance, and mystery. Stella learning about werewolves and pack dynamics, and Layson, learning he can’t just expect Stella to fall at feet because ‘he’s a wolf.’It was so funny and entertaining. All the different members of the pack are like their own little found family (more so for Stella since Layson was born into the pack.)
Mia, Layson’s sister, was a favorite of mine, she was bubbly and a breath of fresh air between the intense and emotional chapters. I’m dying for a book about her and her mate. Her bossing around her mate (who’s probably never been challenged before) and putting him in his place was top tier comedy.

“I'm an Alpha. I can't leave my pack,”Ravon protested.
“That's not my fault that you’re an Alpha,”Mia said seriously. “I didn't choose for my mate to be Alpha. Why don't you be something else, then we can just stay here? I'm sure there are wolves in your pack who could be Alpha instead.”
Ravon looked at her like she had three heads.

My girl, Stella, you need some to learn some SELF-PRESERVATION. This girl had me STRESSED. If she made one more crazy decision, I also would’ve threatened to lock her up and stop speaking to her just like Layson did.
Thank you again to the author for sending me a copy of this book! I’ll be patiently waiting for book 2 (and very very patiently waiting for more about Mia!) ᨒ↟ 𖠰𖥧𓃥˚⏾⋆.˚

I really enjoyed this one! It had a great mix of adventure, romance, suspense, and a twist that caught me completely off guard. I was hooked the whole time and couldn't wait to see how everything was going to come together.
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, is because the last few chapters felt like they crammed, so much information into such a short amount of time. There were so many reveals and things happening all at once that I had a hard time keeping track of everything.
Overall, though, it was a fun, fast-paced read that kept me entertained, and I'd definitely recommend it if you like stories with adventure, romance (spice), suspense, and a good plot twist. The banter between the Stella and Layson is just epic that it makes you relate to alot of the turmoil, humor and just smartass comments you can't help but laugh. Can't wait to see if there will be a book 2.

Book 1 of Alpha. And a wonderful start it is! Look forward to more from this world.
'The pull towards Layson is undeniable, and if Stella gives in, she will risk facing dangers she didn’t know existed and discovering dark secrets that were meant to stay hidden forever.
In a world of the supernatural, can one human girl fit in?'
The characters were very appealing and complex and compelling and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.
Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!.
