Breach Point

A dead engineer. A stolen prototype. A conspiracy buried inside one of the most powerful tech empires in the country.

When a Raleway Tech employee dies during a Halloween party in Seattle, the scene looks like a reckless overdose. But FBI Agent Jane Cannon knows staged deaths when she sees them, and this one has all the wrong a ruined computer, missing files, and a classified AI project someone is desperate to keep hidden.

Jane's investigation pulls her into the orbit of tech magnate Nelson Rupert, a family with political reach, and the shadow of August Kaminski, the killer she still hasn't brought to justice. Every answer exposes another layer of betrayal, and every ally seems to be guarding a secret.

With a prototype that could change the future of warfare on the line, Jane must untangle the truth before the wrong people sell it to the highest bidder.

Because this time, the breach isn't just in the system.

It's in the bloodline.

FBI agent Jane Cannon is thrown into a wild case involving new Al tech and one of the biggest companies in the industry. It kicks off with a dead engineer and a stolen prototype. Things only escalate from there. Rising body count, several shootouts, and no shortage of suspects to keep you guessing.

What I loved most was watching Jane crack this conspiracy wide open with help from her fellow agents and her honorary uncles who just happen to be special forces operatives.

🎧 Audiobook Thoughts: Narrator Hilary
Huber is fantastic as always. She nails Jane's sharp instincts and skills, but what really stood out was how she captured Jane's growth from the first book in the series. From a "doesn't play nice with others" agent to someone who genuinely cares about her team and still carries the weight of losing one of her own.

Breach Point is fast, tense, twisty, and a listen you don’t want to pause. I’m already counting down to the next one!

I absolutely loved this book—and at this point, I love the entire Jane Cannon series. Every book has pulled me deeper into Jane’s world, but this one was especially hard to put down. What begins with the suspicious death of an engineer at a Halloween party quickly turns into something much bigger, involving stolen technology, a classified AI project, powerful people, and secrets someone is willing to kill to protect.

I love Jane as a character. She’s smart, determined, and willing to keep digging when the pieces don’t add up. The investigation into Raleway Tech was fascinating, especially as the secrets surrounding Nelson Rupert and his family began to unravel. And hanging over everything is August Kaminski—the killer Jane still hasn’t caught. That continuing thread adds so much tension because I’m completely invested in seeing how it ultimately plays out.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I was this hooked on a series. I’ve loved watching the characters and larger mystery develop from book to book, and I’m so invested now that I’ve already preordered the next book—and I never preorder books. That probably says more about how much I love this series than anything else I could write. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Breach Point grabbed me with its mix of a staged death, a stolen AI prototype, and a conspiracy buried inside a powerful tech empire. I especially liked how Jane Cannon is forced to question who she can trust as each answer reveals another secret.

Fast-paced, tense, and full of twists. A gripping thriller that keeps raising the stakes right to the end.
