If I could give it a 0.5 ⭐️ I would. This is very clearly AI or has had help with AI and no beta readers. The same sentences are used multiple times and are not needed. One whole chapter is pretty much the same as another one with similar or the same sentences/feelings/thoughts used again. The word muscle is used 22 times in the first 10 chapter and majority of these are to describe the MMC’s arms. 3 times alone in chapter 8. I nearly DNF’d on chapter 12 but thought I need to review this and don’t feel it would be fair if I hadn’t finished. Spoiler here. In chapter 11 he ‘claims’ her, which she had been secretly wanting for a chapter or two and then in chapter 12 she’s betrayed and furious that he did so … make it make sense. I understand the hurt from previous trauma but he didn’t say it to demean her. Anyway, it doesn’t get better so save yourself some time and DNF it or better yet don’t even start it.

This Protheka romance story was an entertaining read that is about Serah our human female who ran away from the slave caravan wounded into the desert after it was attacked and Rakk our future chieftain Orc who helps her after his clan finds her fevered and collapsed who brings her to their shaman to heal. What occurs as Serah learns that there are goodness and love was a delightful story as Rakk chooses her as his mate in this enjoyable copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.
