This book....that's all I can say. I would probably give it a 2.5. This store was slow and dry. Then it just ended with some loose ends and some unanswered questions. This book left much to be desired and I just can't recommend it to anybody.
Marc needed to get it together taking advantage of his best friend like that he would have been fired for good. Phil was smart I didn’t care for Denise. Julie deserved to be happy though.
"Dr. Feelgood" by Christian Keyes was a quick read with a steady pace. Dr Gooden cares about his patients and lets himself get invested in their care. His partner and best friend Dr Marc not so much. Dr Gooden is always covering for Marc (basically being an enabler). Dr Gooden offers wonderful relationship advice, but he can not see that the love of his life Denise is beautiful but shallow. He gives great advice to patients with surface problems, but does not seem to have any real substance to his practice. There is a lot of sex/sex talk in the book, but even that makes him seem too over confident and perfect. Every great character has some flaws, but Dr Gooden's flaws are just that he is too good a friend to abandon his friend Marc as he screws up again and again and that he is too trusting and perfect to see what a manipulative bitch is Denise. The pacing and readability is there, just needs some work on the characters.
I had this book for years & only got it because I liked the author as an actor. As for the book Dr. Feelgood, I didn't know if this storyline was suppose to attract women readers or male readers, meaning: was this book suppose to encourage women to hold out for the right one to make them feel good in every since of the word. Or, was this book to encourage male readers to continue to act like the assholes that they almost always are by judging the women that come into their path worst than what they may be, all while wanting a woman in their lives to be a COMPLETE 10 while THE MALES ARE A SUBPAR 5! I'll just say: that I can better tolerate the author Christian Keyes as an ACTOR THAN I CAN AS AN AUTHOR. Needless to say THIS BOOK DID NOTHING FOR ME& FELT MORE LIKE FANTASY THAN WHAT THE MALE SPECIES SHOULD EXPECT AS THEIR OWN REALITY.
I enjoyed this book. The cover and title lead me to believing this book was about something sexual and it was the total opposite. It was about a psychiatrist who helps people with their problems but could not come to grips with his own. The story flowed smoothly and the characters were easy to follow. I did not notice any grammatical errors and it was typeset for the kindle. I would definitely read more by this author.
This book is a fast and easy read. It holds your interest enough that you could finish it in a day. There is some drama mixed with romance. In fact there is a lot of sex in the book. Dr Gooden and his friend and partner Dr. Marc are therapists and Dr. Gooden works hard at his practice to avoid facing his pain of letting go of his past., while spending a great deal of time fixing everyone else's life.
Good book overall. Great humor. The title was misleading, simply a play on the main character’s name. There were some issues that were brought up but left unanswered, and the ending didn’t suggest there would be a sequel. Would have liked to have seen more discovery with Denise at the end and to learn more about Marc’s private issues. I enjoyed it though.

The book was a solid read. Phil, (Dr. FeelGood) was very relatable and seemed to have his life pretty much set up. But the woman he proposed to was for the streets, then came crawling back when Phil found another woman. Phil’s friend, Marc, was a mess but turned around in the end for the better and there were happy endings everywhere!!!

Thank you to Goodreads for my copy of Dr. Feelgood. What a wonderful doctor and friend. He does not give up on his best friend or his practice. I wish I could find a doctor like him. Interesting story.
I really liked this book and it was different having a mans perspective. I had a lot of unanswered questions. Like what was Marc more focused on than his job? He should come out with part 2 to keep the story going. This book was hilarious!!
Read while on vacation. Decent story. Great sex scenes. I liked most of the characters. The name dropping of certain brands to indicate status was distracting. Loved the physical descriptions of the black female characters. I would recommend it to others.
Great read, awesome example or the grass not being as green on the other side as we sometimes think. Even better the realization that good girls do win and true friendship can take corrective and positive criticism. Outstanding!
My aunt recommend this book to me and it was great. Very memorable characters with their own bright personalities. This book gave me movie vibes and the atmosphere of the book was very enjoyable and I recommend this book to anyone who likes romance books. 4.8/5
This was a good book. I predicted some of the things, but I enjoyed the relationships and banter that happened between the characters. Christian clearly wrote this for himself to play the part, should it become a movie. LOL. I was entertained though.
A little slow. Not much detail. Would've been nice to know what was Marc getting into and why. Noticed everytime he was questioned he flipped the script.
