I thought this was a pretty neat book, and it covered a surprisingly wide range of topics. I wish it had gone into more depth on some of the topics, especially style and hair care. In regards to hair care, I found it a bit disappointing that only white people hair was covered.
Do not be deceived by this breezy, easy to read and gaze at little book. It can come across as superficial at times, but soldier on, my friend. You'll learn in short order that your life will improve with good hygiene, exercise, sensible eating, and a dash of debonaire and blunt truths.
Most books are too long, too boring, and rarely read. This is not one of them. Jones' pithy writing and Vanderploegs charming illustrations deliver not mere pleasure, but satisfaction.
Read this book. Try the things the author recommends. You'll be a better and better looking man.
