Delightful! The overarching notion of a confluence was absolutely amazing, thought provoking, and very well executed. The world and fight scenes for this LITRPG book is on par with He Who Fights with Monsters. While not as continuously funny and epic ad Dungeon Crawler Carl, there are a lot of one-liners that are epic or hit home. There's a love story. Meh. Not my thing but it seemed appropriately paced if you like that kind of thing.

This was a very fun read and I look forward to future installments. Will this book hit the NYT Best Seller list? Doubtful, but an amazing first book from this author. Keep writing like this and one day you'll be able to quit your day job and make this world your full time gig!

I am new to this genre and I found it fascinating! It was fun following Felix and the gang on their exploits. The idea of worlds colliding and forming a different world with interesting creatures made it fun. The author has a sense of humor that I appreciate. He gave the characters witty come backs that often made me laugh. I did feel like the ending left me hanging as to what happened to the other characters besides Felix and Eliza. Do I sense a book 2? I sure hope so!

Fantastic read for an origin of a gritty hero thrown into a transformed earth. Great party dynamics and humor too!
