This is a great non-fiction book for toddlers through pre-k in my opinion. Even though, Scholastic has its age range from pre-k through 1st I dont think it's appropriate. I really like the large print and book pages. It goes through every kind of weather and gives an example of a fun activity you can do during that time of weather. For example, "when it's windy, you can fly a kite." I think these concepts are simple enough for a toddler to grasp. For a pre-k- 1st grade class I would except a little more facts and detail information. However, I think this is a perfect book for a 2-3 year old class when discussing the weather or during a weather unit. The picture are big and nice to look at.
