When all the lights were truly gone, when everybody else abandoned hope, one man stayed true. One man stayed with me.
Because of him, I am alive today.
This is the start of our new life together.

Author's Note : Uncovering You 11: The Lost Chapter recounts events fourteen months after the end of Uncovering You 10: The Finale. It is a short story of approximately 7,000 words for those who wanted a more conclusive ending to the series.
I live near beautiful Seattle, Washington. I grew up reading all types of fantasy books before discovering the wonderful world of romances in high school.

As the title states, this is not a full-length novel, or even a novella. It is an extra chapter in the story of Lilly and Jeremy. Picking up fourteen months after Book 10 ends, this little extra provides a more definitive answer to the question of what happened in the end with this volatile couple.
I was glad to have some answers and see them get their HEA. At the same time, I didn't feel like this final chapter was particularly spectacular or moving. It does provide the closure that was missing at the end of the last book though, so that counts for something.
I said I wouldn't be happy unless the book ended with Jeremy Stonehearts grizzly death. I honestly can't fathom how anyone could enjoy the turn of events of the series. i'm just so very disappointed.
This book may seem like a whole bunch of nothing, which it is, but in the bigger picture it's about a lot. It's about what happened after that damn eyelid flutter. I get why the author chose to fast forward the story 14 months. It bypasses Lilly's struggle through all types of therapy. Waking up from a coma after a year sure cannot be easy. Muscle atrophy alone would be a hurdle to leap over.
This book gives closure on the love story between Jeremy and Lilly. Not once did the cold Mr. Stonehart make an appearance, much like he didn't in book 10. The change in him is surreal because his moods were so unpredictable, something I kind of relied on in a weird way. Now he's all about Lilly: his love in her, his faith in her, his respect for her... It was honestly a bit boring. Ah well, I needed my HFN and got that. Welcome to the fold Mrs. Stonehart!
Normally, I would have thanked the author for giving us one last insight into her story but since UC10 was such a huge, huge huge torture, I don't even give a fuck about whether Lilly's alive or dying in some hospital bed. A hint here: Here's what would have made UC series extremely popular Instead of making Jeremy the good guy (forcefully) in the end, it would have been better to get Lilly to fall in love with Telfair (jeremy's twin) in the end and make Telfair out to be the nicer twin and Jeremy the evil twin. It would have made the story interesting and it would have justified introducing a twin into the story considering the fact that the only reason Telfair existed was so that the author could give Lilly a stupid disease and have the Dr cure it...... But, alas, we have what can only be called the ashes of a story so burned up, it's original form is unrecognizable. Sometimes, phoenixes do not rise from the ashes. Sometimes, what emerges from the ashes is the remains of a bird so incredible, it leaves everyone in awe although it ends up existing only in memories. And memories are very rarely cherished.
I read a lot of books, a lot! Mostly romance and dark romance. When I started this series I knew what it was, and even though I always want the HEA, I knew this one probably wasn't going to have one. As I kept reading the series, I started thinking, wait this book is totally deserves a HEA! Why, let's review, Lilly lost interest in revenge, the love between them was made to be real. No one with that kind of love doesn't deserve happiness! So I believe this is the way the story should have ended in the first place! Scarlett Edwards should be rewarded for making readers happy. Even if she didn't write this book, I for one would have kept reading her future books as I think she is a very talented young author! Thank you Miss Edwards! Happy Writing.
I was a huge fan of this entire series and would happily read another 10 parts if Scarlett were to write them but, alas, all good things must come to an end. While I was one the few that were quite happy with how part 10 finished off it was also great to have some proper closure so my mind could put the story to rest once and for all. Even though this part was not as exciting as previous parts it provided a satisfying ending that tied up some lose ends. I will be thinking of Lily and Jeremy for a long time and probably making up my own stories about them in my head!
The original ending, book #10 was perfect just the way it was – this extra book giving readers an alternate ending was totally cheesy and unnecessary in my opinion.
The Lost Chapter? Good Rebound - Ms. Edwards! Thank you for this. I like a little honey with my tea. Some of us needed this epilogue. You wrung us out to dry and it was a tough journey to come this far in the story and have no "walking off into the sunset moment". I also agree, that this "Lost Chapter" does not add anything to the story, but it does puts a cherry on top and finishes it off. I feel rather satisfied now.
The Entire Series? Mixed feelings....Much like Jeremy's personality up and downs....Jeremy/Stoneheart flipflopping, I too loved it and hated it. I love the writing style, the story line, the little bits of information that has you thinking...never knowing quite what is going on in everyone's head.
I am so glad its over....thank you for quite a wild ride.

First off this review is based on all 11 books of this series. Book 1-9 had my full and complete rating of a solid 5 stars. Enjoyed how the story transpired. The dynamic of Lilly and Jeremy personalities. How they fought tooth and nail, yet had an undercurrent of a strong and bonding attraction. Then something happened at the tenth book in the series. It went to an unknown dimension. I felt like it was a dream sequence of an out of body experience, or even a different story all together. It just went a little too far and at times it was hard to relate too. Then book 11 was more of less a tying up the loose ends, but it really didn't work. Really enjoyed the authors writing style so I look forward to more titles.
The Lost Chapter tied up Uncovering You nicely. We learn how Lilly and Jeremy are managing post recovery. Lilly also reconnects with old friends. The Uncovering You series is a great read, one I really enjoyed.
Ok, this ending was better than the last book, but c'mon!!! Jeremy is a strong, aggressive, dominant man throughout the whole series then here everything is just "flowers, rainbows, and unicorns?". I get that the author was trying to change Jeremy's personality some, but this was taking it to the extreme. All in all I give the whole series 3 stars.
As I commented on The Finale; I really wanted some answers and an actual ending, whether it was an HEA or not. We didn't get that; it was more an extra scene than anything else. But that's what we get.
I first started this series a long while ago but somehow I couldn't keep reading it then I was browsing through my library and found it again. I started from the beginning and literally could not stop. Why I asked myself had I stopped at book 3? This series is not for the fainthearted but it gripped me and wouldn't let go! When I got to the end of book 10 I was a little disappointed but then saw book 11 and got the closure that I wanted even if Scarlett hadn't wanted to give it to us readers originally! I do love a HEA! Thank you Scarlett for an excellent series even if you wrote it a while ago it was a pleasure reading it even if it was a bit uncomfortable at times its was still riveting!
A must read. Though if you've ever survived abuse it's definitely a trigger book stay away.
What a roller coaster ride of a series this was. I frequently put the book down because a part had me angry for Lilly and then a minute later pick it back up. I went from absolutely hating Jeremy to rooting for him. Even when Lilly began trusting him I found myself saying no he's playing you.
I waited until the last story to write a review. The whole thing from book 1-11 is riveting. I was pulled in from the beginning and flew through whole series. It made me angry, sad, happy, and confused in so many different parts. I agree the last book's ending left me very upset, so I'm glad the author added a final chapter to satisfy her readers and clean up the story of Jeremy and Lillie. I definitely recommend this series and can't wait to check out other stories!
This series is so long and drawn out. I got to book 8 and just couldn't take it anymore. Throughout the series nothing and no one is as it seems...there are so many twists and turns, Secrets and lies It gives me a headache. Jeremy Stoneheart is some kind of bipolar sadistic psycho...and not in an endearing way. Lily is a complete idiot. Felt sorry for her at first but after awhile she's stupid. Had enough. Two stars because it had its good points, unfortunately the bad outweighs it.
This whole series was a very different kind of love story but one of the best I was so mad at Jeremy then I would love him at the same time I am so glad a different ending was written because I did a lot of crying and couldn't believe how it had ended. I recommend that everyone should read all 11 books very good read
You were so right about how I felt finishing the last book. I was angry, depressed and heartbroken for them. Reading every book, absorbing the light with such black darkness, the rollercoaster emotional ride and the agony of love was plain insane! I needed this ending I craved it and I'm so happy you gave it to us.
I thoroughly enjoyed the series it kept my attention the entire series. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. I do wish there had been more after their wedding, did they go back to the business world, did he go into another business or start something with Robin, was she able to get pregnant. Want more
Thankfully we got an ending! Although would’ve been better with an epilogue a year or two later, but can’t really complain after book 10’s ending! Shame the last book let down the series because it was very good up to a point, glad I read the whole series now.
I have read this entire series I had palpations, thrills and I have cried the original ending very nearly caused the demise of my kindle it was thrown in temper so thanks for writing the lost chapter i have recommended this series to all my friends
I’m so glad I got to read their story ending, (these last two book have had me in tears) I haven’t stopped reading this series from book 1, it’s been a dark series, I’ve hated and loved Jeremy but wouldn’t of changed a thing💕
I did not read the book where this chapter wraps up the actions of the characters. Despite that I didn't read about the people involved, I was able to enjoy a well written ending, pull for the main characters and wish them well.
The ending of The Finale was disappointing but this definitely makes up for it. This need to be written for closure and I'm glad it was. Great set of books that I binged read.
