I received an ARC of What Big Lies You Have from Net Galley. What Big Lies You Have doesn’t just tell a suspenseful story, it pressurizes you as you read. The anxiety in this book feels almost physical. Mock layers unease so skillfully that even quiet moments hum with tension. Every knock, every glance, every half-truth feels loaded, and you can’t shake the sense that something terrible is just one page away. It’s the kind of thriller where you don’t just follow the plot — you live the dread alongside the characters

A. G. Mock does it again with “What Big Lies You Have”! This dark, twisted thriller had me hooked from the very beginning. It’s packed with suspense, deception, jealousy, and lies, every chapter kept me wanting more. The tension never let up, and I found myself completely invested. I honestly got mad whenever I had to stop reading because I couldn't wait to see what happened next! If you enjoy addictive psychological thrillers full of secrets and shocking twists, this one is definitely worth picking up.

This book had twists and turns I didn’t see coming. It is a slow burn psychological thriller. Starts out hot, warms in the middle and please pay attention in the middle, and then back to hot in the end. I thought I had the twist sorted but I was so wrong. The middle confused me at first. I wasn’t sure why that portion was so detailed but as you near the end it all ties together and blows your mind. The writing was brilliant!! A.G. Mock, thank you this book and opportunity to read it. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend you read it.

I previously read Now is the Time of Monsters by AG Mock and really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed this. Great character development and intriguing, unique storyline. I wondered throughout why he chose to set the story in England and it wasn’t until I was nearly done that I realized it was likely because the original Red Riding Hood took place in Europe.
I struggled to keep the characters straight. I probably could have used an org chart early on, I kept confusing which parents went with what girl lol. No fault to the author here, purely my own struggle but I mention it in case it helps another reader in the future.
Anyway, one plot hole and the reason for my spoiler tag…I was left confused with how the entire town did not realize Emily was actually Rose? Was she forced to spend her entire childhood inside? I don’t recall that being addressed and it bothers me. Did the Tanners never force to speak to her, to get her story about their daughter’s last day?

I did not expect this book to take me on the ride that it did, with twists so abrupt I was left flipping back a page and audibly saying “wait, what?!” all while devouring it at a pace I couldn’t slow, even though I tried my hardest because I didn’t want it to end!
The story flipping between childhood and 28 years later was easy to follow, the characters (all of them) grabbed you in the gut in some way, and nothing will prepare you for the twist at the end.
All I will tell you is that something will be niggling around in your brains the whole time you’re immersed in this story and it won’t reveal itself until the end.
And when it does, you will be left staring blankly at the page (you’ll know when you get there), then staring blankly at the wall, and then you’ll just have to close your eyes for a moment because you won’t be able to believe what you just read. 🐺🤯

This is a slow burn thriller; kind of like a roller coaster that starts slow, but when it takes off, it has so many twists, turns and jaw dropping moments until the very end. It follows Emily Briggs and Rosalie Turner who have grown up together and even share a birthday. They are the best of friends and are always together. In 1989, at 13, they are excited to attend Guy Hawkes Day. Emily’s mother drops them off. When it rains and the carnival is shut down, they decide to go to Rosie’s grandmother’s house. What follows changes their lives forever.
I love the way A J Mock wove Little Red Riding Hood into the story and made it his own. Rosie was wearing a red hooded cape that day and the carnival worker’s name is Levi Wolfe. The characters were so well developed and I loved the dual timeline! Everytime I thought I knew what was happening, along came another twist!

If you had a past that was completely bad, wouldn't you want it to stay in the past. Yes I would if it was anything like Rose and Emily's. I loved this book. I finished it a little too quick. What a great page turner. The twists and turns were all through the book and always a new surprise. When it comes to the past, things. need to stay there. That's why they call it the PAST. Poor Emily and Rose...... lives ruined, brutal murders, families destroyed. I got so into this book that I was almost shouting at the characters when they were doing something they shouldn't. I was so into the book that I couldn't put it down. I kept telling Emily, "No Don't Go There, or "No Don't Do That." I love it when I get that into a book. A.G. Mock has done it again with this one. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great page turner, suspense, murder, lies, twists and turns and great surprise ending. Coming out on Amazon on Sept. 22. A Must Read.

I absolutely loved Now Is the Time of Monsters by A.G. Mock, so I was very excited to receive an ARC of his latest book.
In typical A.G. Mock style, there are plenty of twists, although I did see some of them coming. I found it to be an enjoyable read, I liked the characters, and I really loved the idea of the “Little Red Riding Hood” element. I actually found myself wishing we’d delved into that a little more.
However, I didn’t quite love this one as much as I wanted to. It’s definitely a slow burn, and I found myself getting distracted at times. It wasn’t until around the 75% mark that I really started to feel excited about where the story was heading.
Would I read it again or purchase a hard copy like I did with Now Is the Time of Monsters?
Probably not. 🫤
That said, I still enjoyed the experience, and I’ll absolutely be keeping an eye out for what A.G. Mock does next. 👀

I love any book that can still surprise me, and this one absolutely did. Every time I thought I had it all figured out, another twist had me questioning everything again. I honestly never knew where it was going next.
This story grabbed me right away, and I flew through it because I just had to know the truth! It's been a long time since any book kept me guessing like this. And turning pages like my life depended on it because it had me so involved 🤣.

This was a great story following Emily Briggs and Rosie tanner. Rosie goes missing and 28 years later she resurfaces and someone claims to be her. She has to travel to the USA to find out for sure if it’s her friend who was presumed deceased.
The beginning was a slow burn as someone else said but about halfway through, it picks up the pace. The twists and turns were unpredictable and not at all what I expected.
I saw another review mention that it was a little hard to follow and I would agree that at one point it was, but I don’t want to give away any spoilers.
Pick up the book, it’s worth the read!

This is the first book I've read from this author. I'm now a huge fan! I loved the writing style, it drew me in for the entire book. I literally couldn't put it down. I read it in 2 days. If life wasn't in the way I would have read it in one sitting.
It had me hooked from the first page and kept my attention throughout the whole book. Multiple timelines and so many twists and turns that gave me whiplash.
I absolutely loved this book! A. G Mock is now on my list of 'automatically read' authors. I highly recommend this one. I'm going to have to read his entire blacklist!
I would give it 10 stars if I could!
