Tell Me You See Me #2
Tell Me I’m Enough
Friends to lovers/College romance
Mason only understands that love is something you survive rather than rely on and lean on.
A boy raised too quickly after his mother’s death, left with responsibilities far beyond his years, and stuck with a heartless father determined to break him down.
Mason has learned to protect his emotions by hiding behind humor and being the center of attention so nobody sees the emptiness under it all.
Simone is used to being the strong one, the responsible one around, the one who never needs anyone else.
They’re complete opposites.
They shouldn’t need each other.
They shouldn’t want each other.
Yet, through late-night conversations, shared secrets, and the moments when the masks they always wear drop, Simone begins to see Mason in a different light.
Mason has always seen Simone as the girl with a light so bright it shines on all his darker parts.
And he secretly wants to keep her.
Simone is the friend who will sit with Mason in every dark moment, proving to him he’s worth loving and worth saving…even from himself.
And Mason is the friend who finally puts Simone first when all she’s ever done is put everyone else around her before herself.
From friends, to secret lovers too scared to commit, to just two people fighting to be enough in this world, they’re forced to figure out if their relationship is built on just lust and stolen moments, or if they can truly love each other in a way that doesn’t hurt and take from the other.

never did i think that book one could be topped, but here we are. i genuinely don’t know what this author puts in these books to make them so addicting but i physically cannot put them down — both were read in one day and i need MORE. this was significantly less heavy than book one, but still carried a great emotional impact. mason, my sweet angel who only wants to break the cycle. simone, my girl who deserves someone to take care of her the way she takes care of others. this was an incredible example of mental health and addiction representation. the friends to lovers in this was everything to me and the amount of times he called her “pretty girl” had me swooning.
“Simone?” “Yeah?” I answer, brushing some hair away from his forehead. His voice comes out so small, barely even a whisper. “You’re—you’re my… best friend.”
“My heart can’t take another person who doesn’t want to be here.”
“I’m always everyone else’s shoulder that they lean on, and I just want someone I can fucking lean on, too. Someone who doesn’t disappear into a bottle. Someone who doesn’t make me question whether I matter or not.” WOW DID THIS ONE GET ME. straight to the gut.

Wowza.. i mean i think i was 13 pages in when i was sobbing. & it didn’t really stop at all. I truly think this deserves infinity stars.
Simone & Mase were so real, gosh I’ve just never felt so in one with all of these characters. This is so raw and so real. Simone searching for love in what she can provide people and always trying to help and fix. With mason drowns in expectations, responsibility’s, and abuse. 🥹 how mason grew up.. it basically how i did. It’s so hard to read but the epilogue makes it all come together and you just realize that life is so messy and chaotic but through love, devotion, and spirituality you can find yourself and you’ll never be alone.
I also loved that this happened in the same time line and you can see outsider perspective from Lydia & bash too. These books destroy you, I’m not going to lie. But they also end in a way that makes you realize it’s so fricken worth it.

I need... I need a minute to sit with my thoughts.... I'll be back for a review
Okay, now that I’ve had time to sit with this book… oh my God, Faith, you have absolutely done it again. I genuinely cannot believe I managed to fall even more in love with Simone and Mason than I already was.
I will admit, I was really nervous going into this book because of how important Simone is in Lydia’s story. I was worried we’d end up rereading a lot of scenes from the first book from a different perspective, but surprisingly there were very few crossovers between the two books. I absolutely loved that because Simone and Mason deserved a story that was entirely their own, and Faith delivered that so well.
I was also surprised by how much this felt like Mason’s book rather than Simone’s. Mason felt like the true main character here, and somehow that worked perfectly. Watching his story unfold and seeing things from his perspective made everything hit so much harder, and I loved every second of it.
But oh my God… the heartbreak, the longing, the history between Simone and Mason… my babies. I adore them. I adore this entire group of friends. The found family aspect of this series is one of my favourite things about it.
I loved the banter between Simone and Mason, and I especially loved that their relationship wasn’t rushed. It didn’t jump straight into attraction or romance. It was a beautifully done slow burn and you got to watch their feelings develop naturally throughout the story.
I am someone who firmly believes dark romances should never be over 500 pages, but this series is my exception. I genuinely cannot imagine a single scene being cut from either book. Everything felt necessary, and because we spend so much time with these characters, every moment of pain, growth, and love between Mason and Simone hits that much harder. Faith absolutely nailed it.
I will defend this series until the day I die. It has become one of my favourite series of all time.
And now I am desperately waiting for Eric and Lani’s story because I have a feeling it is going to destroy me. While this book definitely had dark themes and moments, I don’t think it reached the same level of darkness as the first book. Based on the glimpses we’ve had of both Eric’s and Lani’s pasts throughout the series so far, I have a feeling their story is going to be incredibly dark and I honestly cannot wait.

Book 2 of Tell Me You See Me
'From friends, to secret lovers too scared to commit, to just two people fighting to be enough in this world, they’re forced to figure out if their relationship is built on just lust and stolen moments, or if they can truly love each other in a way that doesn’t hurt and take from the other.'
The characters were very appealing and complex and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. All in all a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.

Faith is a true master at creating insufferable, inauthentic, poorly developed characters. This was a masterclass in awful.

“And I can’t…I can’t love someone into healing.” - Simone
I feel like this one was far better and far less icky than Lydia and Bash's book. Do I think the writing was better? Debatable. I think the topics here were less complex and easier to manage, resulting in a better story.
Similar to the last book, one of my issues with this one is the random savior complex religion has. Like it can cure all.
Another issue I have is that the book kinds just...ends? Like the plot doesn't really feel completed between Simone and Mason. We have a MAJOR event, then wha-bam Epilogue.

Whew, buckle up for this review!!
I still am at a loss for words after reading this book.
I was blessed to receive it as an ARC from the author and after book 1, I was practically begging to start it! Lydia’s story was one of tragedy and triumph. Simone’s story dealt with real, relatable issues and Mason’s story was a heavy presence as well. You will definitely get more “giggling” and “kick your feet” giddiness from this one! Their love was intense and developed from one of codependency to a mature connection centered on self-awareness and a personal desire to be their best selves independently.
I could heavily relate with Simone’s reliance on managing the emotions of others and how her childhood trauma in relation to her parents created a foundation that directly impacted what she accepted in relationships.
Faith Pincay is a masterful writer who is skilled at creating a movie-like experience as you read. You will be captivated from the start & there’s not one moment when the plot doesn’t have its foot on your neck.
I especially appreciate how she builds capacity/complexity in her characters. By the end, you will be forced to understand more about the “why” behind the character(s) you despise, even if you don’t want to! The empathy approach is one that our humanity needs as we all have reasons for why we are how we are, knowing that the reason is not the same as an excuse.
If you want cookie-cutter romances, cringey moments, or premises that are played out, she is not the one for you.

Review of advance copy
Blown away by the ARC for Tell Me I’m Enough, book two in the Tell Me You See Me series, received from BookSirens for my honest opinions. Told in alternating chapters, our mc’s Mason and Simone meet in college through Greek life and its activities, being drawn to each other platonically at first. Simone is in a long distance relationship with her high school sweetheart, who is slowly pulling away from her. Mason has a lot of childhood trauma, losing his mom so young, and a violent cruel father. Alcohol helps dull his pain and throughout the book we see his normal college partying turn into full blown alcoholism. I appreciated the time taken to show him get worse then rally, then fall to his bottom. There are some real serious themes, if you have triggers, read responsibly. I felt all the tough topics were dealt with realistically, yet sensitively. There is an element of religion, which I believe naturally comes with sobriety, but it didn’t ever get preachy. I love the group of side characters. Of course we have Lydia and Bash from book one, but then we have the football players on his team, the frat bros. All of them added to my enjoyment. Some of the issues I had with monotony in book one, was nowhere. I didn’t notice the high page count, no lag for me like book one. I’m so excited for book 3, which we were teased throughput making me so anxious to read. Though book one was just an ok start, book two found its stride and it’s definitely a recommendation for sports romance lovers, with a college location.

LOVED THIS BOOK I read it in 3 days after finishing the 1st book in the series.
WOW wow wow
I love Simone so much so for her to get her own book and love life made my heart warm!!!
The epilogue was incredible from evil dad Sinclair in prison, to them having 5 kids 🥺 and living next to the besties WOOO
this book was lighter in heavy topics and after reading the authors note & the hints in this book about Lani Ik I’m going to be emotionally wrecked about book 3!
So this book!
Tell me I’m enough, beautifully examined an alcoholic from triggers to what Alcohol does for a mind in pain.
-Mason’s story and trauma was truly the forefront runner pushing this book from being neglected by his father emotionally, grief of his mom, and parentified at such a young age is miserable. His journey really detailed how frustrating and disappointing it is to rely on unhealthy crutches.
-Simone was very relatable in the way her journey was not allowing her to be or feel like a crutch for mason or Lydia her best friend when they went through there ups and downs. It saddened me when she experienced her miscarriage without them due to not wanting to add to their pain. This showed the isolation of being the stable and strong friend…
Overall the love story had me kicking my feet and they were so sweet and just college kids maneuvering big emotions together!!
5/5 stars I LOVED IT!! & THEM
s/o to Bash & Erik really standout male friendships portrayed
LOVE his twin brothers too
& the Thor detail soooooo cuteee

4.5 ⭐️ i am still collecting my thoughts right now cuz wow this book…
Ive been in a reading slump for about 3 months and i am so glad this is what got me out of it. The pain, the laughter, the tears I’ve experienced while reading this book was all over the place. I really loved the addiction and mental health representation and how it was done with such care.
Simone and Mason mean everything to me and are def on the list of my top 10 couples. The raw, real, pain, and love they have and you see in this book just pulls on my heart. I literally read this in a day because I couldn’t put the book down at all. I genuinely have no words but if you like aoife joey from bot I would 100% recommend reading this book.
one thing I would have liked and made this 5 stars is if the ending was a little longer and we could of seen simone and mason have a family and just them being them (like a little montage)…. just a bit of a whole explanation of things that happened before the epilogue.
some quotes <3
“Thank you…” she says, cutting me off, “for being the friend looking out for me.” “Anytime, pretty girl.”
“Simone?” “Yeah?” I answer, brushing some hair away from his forehead. His voice comes out so small, barely even a whisper. “You’re—you’re my…best friend.”
“Bye, pretty girl.”
“Bye, Mase.”
“In the wise words of Taylor Swift—my advice is to ruin the friendship.”

obvy another 6 stars!
listen, after book one i really didn’t think this book would be good. the first one had so much depth and complexities that i thought simone and mason would be lacking in both departments. however, i was proven so wrong. simone and mason individually and as a couple are so complex and i wasn’t prepared for it.
let’s start w mason as a character. i loved him in the few scenes he appeared in last book. i truly had no idea he had so much trauma and would eventually became an alcoholic. understanding his trauma and his love for simone was so deep and emotional and it made him so perfect to me.
now for simone, i underestimated my girl. obvy she’s an angel in the previous book but she’s even more of an angel when you understand what she struggles with and her love for everyone. i can only hope to read about other strong POC female characters like simone, she’s truly an inspiration.
and i just have to appreciate the found family and friendships that are in this series. it shows how important community is despite how awful the circumstances may be. it also demonstrates how transformative college can be and how you can shape your own life w the support of those around you and i loved that!
will forever recommend, pick up this book rn (have tissues on standby)

★★★★☆
I really enjoyed this book overall, but I didn’t connect with it quite as much as the first one.
One thing I really liked was that it didn’t feel like a retelling. Even though Simone was such an important character in the previous book, this story had its own identity and focused on different aspects of the characters.
Mason was definitely my favorite part of the book. I loved getting more of his perspective, and I found his character much more compelling than Simone’s. I just never fully connected with her the way I hoped to, which made it a little harder for me to become completely invested in the romance.
The relationship is a true slow burn, and I appreciated that it wasn’t rushed. Their history together gave the romance a solid foundation, and I liked seeing it develop gradually.
The found family and friendships continue to be one of the strongest parts of this series. I always enjoy spending time with this group, and those moments were just as enjoyable as the romance.
Overall, I had a great time reading this and would definitely recommend!! I’m excited to see where the series goes next.

Simone wants to help everyone and be there for everyone, which is understandable by those around her. Mason all he wants is to find a reason to be back in destruction mode.
I liked Simone character, she is intelligent, kind and above all knows what she wants.
Maison is a character that I liked since if something that the author knows how to do is write characters who have a hard time and live traumatic things and he how they happen to those things.
I felt this book as a one three hill fanfic there are many coincidences and maybe the author is a fan of the series which I respect.
Something that caught his attention about the two books I have read about this series is how they emphasize religion and God. I understand that for these characters God helped them to heal and be better about themselves, if I felt a little the propaganda of love God and accept it. And don't get me wrong, I love and believe in God, I just felt it that way. Equally, each person has the right to face and live life in the way they see fit as well as in what they believe and what they don't. Anyway, the truth is that it is a saga that I recommend reading since it makes you think about many things.
I'm waiting for Lani and Erik's book

I adore Mason so, so much! I loved watching him navigate his messy, broken life and figure this journey out. Seeing him and Simone both on their paths to healing and breaking the cycle made me so happy for them. They worked together in a lot of ways but they also put in the work and healed on their own which is so important. Faith writes books that are wildly raw and emotional. They are incredibly real and relatable even if you haven’t lived the same experiences in your own personal life. She does such an amazing job dealing with tough situations. One of the things I appreciate most about her stories is how much she walks you through the process of the healing. You really get deep inside the characters minds and live through it with them. You feel their pain, shame, hurt, sadness, anger. Then she flips the switch and you feel their healing, love, pride, and joy. Thank you for another amazing trip Faith, can’t wait for book 3. I’m stoked for Lani and Erik!!

tissues.
Faith Pincay has a way of making you fall completely in love with her characters, and Tell Me I’m Enough was no exception. ❤️
Simone was such a beautifully written FMC. She carried so much on her shoulders while constantly questioning whether she was enough for the people she loved. Watching her slowly realize her worth was emotional, empowering, and so satisfying.
Mason completely stole my heart. Beneath his charm and humor was a man carrying his own pain, and every moment he spent showing Simone she was worthy of love had me melting. Their chemistry was effortless, their banter was perfect, and the emotional connection between them felt so genuine.
This story was packed with healing, growth, vulnerability, and love that felt earned every step of the way. I laughed, I cried, and I found myself highlighting so many passages because they hit so deeply! Now the anticipation of Lani and Erik… I cannot wait.

Tell Me I'm Enough by Faith Pincay is a heartfelt and emotional read that explores love, insecurity, self-worth, and the importance of feeling truly seen. I really enjoyed how the story focuses on the characters’ emotional struggles and personal growth, making their experiences feel relatable and genuine. What stood out to me most was the message behind the title. The desire to feel like we are enough for someone else is something many readers can understand, and the book did a wonderful job exploring that feeling while also emphasizing the importance of finding confidence within yourself. Pincay created an engaging story filled with vulnerability, meaningful relationships, and moments that make you reflect on your own sense of worth. Overall, Tell Me I'm Enough was an emotional read for anyone who enjoys character-driven stories that explore relationships, vulnerability, and self-discovery.

Now this is how you write a story. I was so locked in. There will be no putting it down once you start reading it so be prepared. It was completely addicting. And traumatizing and beautiful and just everything. That’s the only way to describe it - everything. It will pull on every single heartstring you have and then some. Simone and Mason were pure perfection. I fell in love with them and that only grew with each page turn. Simone shouldered the world and I truly felt for her. She just wanted to be seen as enough for the people she had in her life. And I felt that in my soul. Mason worked so diligently to make sure she knew she was more than enough, for him, for herself, for everyone. Their connection was so genuine and pure and emotional. And their chemistry was out of this world. Watching things grow and develop between them had my heart melting. After reading this book I was left feeling satisfied and happy, and looking forward to the next book in the series to come out.

Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC.
This story was incredible from beginning to end. It tackled some emotional topics, but they were handled with so much care, sensitivity, and grace. My heart broke more than once while reading, yet the healing, growth, and hope woven throughout the story made every emotional moment worth it.
The characters felt authentic, their journeys were deeply impactful, and the author’s thoughtful approach to difficult subjects left a lasting impression on me. While this book is undoubtedly emotional, the healing throughout the story makes it such a rewarding read. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to read this ARC and would highly recommend it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I honestly don’t even know where to start with this one.
Mason’s story completely pulled me in. His sadness, his anger, his loneliness all of it felt so real. There were so many moments where my heart just hurt for him. The way he grew up after losing his mom and everything he went through before Simone came into his life added so much depth to his character. It wasn’t just something mentioned in passing; you could feel how much those experiences shaped the person he became.
I think what hit me the hardest was that underlying feeling of being misunderstood. Mason spends so much of his life hiding behind jokes and being the life of the party that people never really stop to see what’s underneath. It’s such an important part of his story, and honestly, it was what took this book from great to unforgettable for me.
And then there’s Simone. She saw him when nobody else really did. Their relationship wasn’t perfect, and that’s exactly why I loved it. They challenged each other, supported each other, and gave each other something they’d both been missing for so long.
This book had the romance, the tension, and all the feelings, but it was Mason’s emotional journey that stayed with me long after I finished. Dare I say, all of those deeper layers to his character were the cherry on top of an already amazing story.
Absolutely loved this one.

I think this whole series is just gonna be 5 stars or more for me. Since the very beginning I am glued to my kindle screen reading it and there are times when I think I’m not reading it but just seeing a movie in my head. This book has all that I would imagine it needs to be more than or just 5 stars it has pain, funny moments, serious moments between characters and when they says it’s similar to boys of tommen they aren’t lying it feels like you’re reading that series but it’s not like you’re reading a copy version it’s some parts that feel like boys of tommen. I loved the series boys of tommen so I really enjoy reading this series as well. I wish it didn’t have to end every time I’m reading this series and I know I will love the next and final book in the series as well.

This was such a beautifully written story. My heart hurt for Mason. He was made to grow up too fast. Too much too soon. And his father was so awful to him. It was sad seeing him hide his pain behind humor. And Sophie, such a beautiful and bright soul. Making sure everyone around her was happy and putting her own aside. Seeing these two come together in a friendship that eventually allowed them to be their real selves around each other warmed my heart. Their connection was genuine and it held love and everything the other had been denied. To see them feel those things for the first time was amazing. This story will always hold a place in my heart.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE.
While there was god talk it didn’t become the whole reason they got better, they actually communicated and sorted out their problems. The book focussed more on the mmc which was nice, it meant both of their characters were properly fleshed out, seen as we’d seen Simone in the first one. There was the same thing as the last one in that they stopped having sex while their relationship was focussing on being closer and better for each other which,, whatever I guess. Still, so much better than the first and I’m actually looking forward to reading the third one?!

devoured in one sitting
SHE DID IT AGAIN. I cannot express how much Faith Pincay Has me hooked within the first chapter. The way she writes is unlike anything I’ve read before. There’s a certain harmony between the love given and the hurt/trauma each character feels. I cannot imagine this story any other way. She brought in a love between the two characters that didn’t feel overwhelming. It didn’t overcast who they were as individuals.
10/10. I cannot get wait to my hands on an audio version.

This series is going to get the praise it deserves. These characters were so beautifully written. Reading the development of their friendship into some thing more, the way we were able to see mason’s struggle with addiction from beginning to end, watching simone with finding her worth in trying to hold and fix the people around her, then choosing her self - this book was raw and realistic, the characters were relatable and emotional - looking forward to the next book.
