The truth didn’t destroy the House of Harrington. It exposed what should never have survived it.
The lies began long before Faith Harrington was born.
Long before the betrayals, the locked archives, the threatening calls, or the memoir that cracked open a legacy built on silence. Long before four sisters learned that the family they inherited was not the whole truth.
Now, with the buried record finally assembled, the last pieces are falling into place.
A second hidden child steps out of the shadows. A dead senator’s carefully protected legacy begins to fracture. And the men who spent decades preserving power through silence are about to learn what happens when the daughters they tried to outlast stop looking away.
As Joanna and Faith join forces for the final reckoning, the cost of truth becomes painfully clear. Careers will collapse. Reputations will burn. Families will be forced to reckon with what was bought, buried, and protected in their name. But for the first time, the Harrington women are no longer divided by secrets. They are armed with them.
And this time, they are not fighting for answers.
They are fighting for an ending.
Because some legacies are inherited. Some are exposed. And some must be shattered before a family can finally be free.
Author Note: This is the final novel - Book Six – the conclusion of the House of Harrington.

The book was too long to finish the saga. I skimmed through most of it. Lots of unnecessary description of what people were wearing : mostly seemed to be cream colored. I'm sure cream described 90% of what people were wearing. There were many mistakes in referencing the past. One noted a picture of Frieda with her four girls. No Faith never even met her. Another one said Faith spent a lifetime trying to figure something out about one of her sisters she had only known a few years. There were other similar references. Poorly edited.
I'm still coming down from the intensity of reading the Harrington House series. (This is the last one.) The story of Faith and her sisters really affected me emotionally in the best ways. I love the way the author sets each scene with sensitivity from the atmosphere in a room to the way the sound of the waves affect the characters. The tensions can be overwhelming and gripping as the mystery evolves. I love Faith and especially sweet Naomi; but Joanna, the smart, calculating sister and the frustrated, sad one (whose name escapes me) are perfectly characterized. Liv is special, maybe because she's a journalist (my background), but all the women's children are unique. Jake - Aw! All romantic men seem to be named Jake
This was the best series I have read in a long while! Relatable, impelling, sad, happy, forthcoming within a family not ever knowing what was going on within a woman who was trying to be brave but grieving every of her life! Take the time to indulge in this series. You won't regret it. I couldn't put the book down!
As the series comes to an end, the title is very fitting. People’s stories are no longer just a number or a line in a ledger. Faith spends time with Matthew, her half brother and gets to know his mother, who was another victim just like her mother Frieda. Lots of emotions and heartache go into the development of the story. The book does include technical terminology repeated often for the story line. How do you release the truth without some emotional fall out for innocent parties?
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion
This made up for the dry and boring previous two booms that only a forensic analyst would enjoy! Good character growth and rounding our . Author Kimberly Thomas continued use of descriptive style always indulging in the heavy use.of senses almost as a fifth character. Everything had a smell, a sound, a texture and it was shared by each main character as if it was a other character alive and.functional within the story. Less skipping past the.boring research data talk in this .book that k goodness, and morw.emphasis on really touching the characters and emotion on each page.
If I could give a book series 10 stars, I would! Kimberly is a talented writer who knows exactly how to pull readers in and keep them captive throughout the story. This is another well-paced installment with believable, deeply emotional family connections. I especially enjoyed the way she brought the series to a close while keeping me fully engaged right through the final page.
This is the last book in this series. Each one has been well written and thought out. This book wraps everything up to a good conclusion. Lots of secrets come out. I wasn’t too sure about all the sisters in the beginning but I liked how they all came together. Another great series by this author!
Could have been much shorter. Too many inconsistencies in timeline in 6th book. Too many women characters to keep up with. Also, the 1st few chapters in 1st book have Faith's parents never showing up for her, yet by 6th book are always showing involved. Too repetitive in details, could have better character development. I only read all 6 books to see how they resolved the dilemma.
This wonderful writer caught & held my interest through all 6 books in this series. The main characters were well developed,as well as likeable & interesting. The 4 sisters reacted to their situations in ways unique to their own individuality.Despite their world being rocked, they were able to pick up the pieces & become a true team family. I'm looking forward to reading more by Kimberly Thomas!
I finally finished this series. To tell the truth, I found it boring and repetitive. I could not understand why the owner of a company did not have the right to view any material in it. That never made sense. Also, the women always wore cream tops and dark slacks! Anyway, I'm glad to have finally finished this series.
The title definitely matches the book. This is the sixth in a series I liked that it tied up all the loose ends. I would imagine that any of the six could be read as a stand alone, but reading all six gives you a clearer understanding of the family structure. Did enjoy the series.
This is a series of 6 books. A must read. From Book 1 thru Book 6 it will hold your attention, and you will find it hard to put your Kindle down. This is the first read for me of Kimberly Thomas, it will not be the last. Enjoy.
I thought it funny that the main character was an editor because the digital format of these books were full of mistakes. Also, this should have been one book, not dragged out to six.
I really enjoyed this last story in the series. It was great to see how sisters that were brought together by tragedy learn how to pull together to make some wrongs right.
I’m glad I read them all, interesting story for a change it had depth . Very wordy and she needed a better editing service. Naomi said it was snowing out in the same sentence Faith said it was raining again !
Another section it said there was a picture with Frieda and her 4 girls not true ! Frieda had already died when Faith came into the story.
Faith and her sisters have worked hard to uncover all of the secrets that had been held in the house of Harrington – secrets that kept a well-known politician safe and kept two women quiet by threatening dire consequences if they revealed the real truth. They uncovered a second child and his mother who was kept quiet just like Faith’s mother. The more the sisters uncover, the more the dead senator’s legacy begins to crumble and his powerful son’s reputation begins to be questioned by the authorities.
As the four sisters continue to bring secrets to light, it becomes clear that there will be changes and several important men will lose their reputations because of their part in this massive cover up that has lasted for years.
COMMENTS ABOUT THE SERIES
There was a lot of political intrigue in this series and I found it all very believable and interesting to read how many people could be involved in a cover up for such a long period of time. My favorite part of this series was seeing the relationship between the sisters grow – from total distrust in the beginning to the point that they knew they could totally trust each other and knew that they would all be together through bad times and good times.
Closure is book 6 in The House of Harrington series by Kimberly Thomas and the final book in this series.
I knew this book would expose the secrets and tie up all the loose ends but oh my…getting there was filled with so much and kept you turning the pages. Watching the sisters go from total mistrust to understanding and trusting again through good time and bad. Kudos to a well written storyline throughout this series!!
I voluntarily read a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
In the final installment of the Harrington sisters, now that the book has been published, the sisters believe no more secrets can be revealed. However, Faith discovers that she has a half brother and another woman has been paid to keep quiet.
In an attempt to right wrongs of the past, her sisters and family take on the men who created this system.
Parts of this story felt repetitive but maybe for readers that had not read the prior books. Thought it was a nice wrap up for the series.
